Do you think that Android and iOS users (with strong preferences) have different personalities?

    Posted: 31 Jan 2020 08:50 AM PST

Well in today's time, I don't think that either of the mobile OS (Android/ iOS) have any technical superiority over each other. It's only the personal preferences that separates the users.

I read an interesting research sometime back that based on some data suggests the personality differences between Android and iOS users like iOS users are generally more social and use their phones more and so on.

Obviously, we need to take any such research results with a pinch or rather a bag of salt. But what do you all think? In your experience, do you think that there is any noticeable personality differences between Android and iOS users? If so, then what kind of differences?

I am not expecting any scientific basis for any major differences but more of anecdotal experiences. Since, this community is highly engaged, would be good to hear your views on this.

Edit: When i asked for casual anecdotal insights on personality differences between Android and iOS users, I wasn't sure of getting any proper responses because the question itself was too vague. But I am humbled and feel great to see such insightful responses from a lot of you.

Trust me, I am not exaggerating when I say that this sub has perhaps one of the highest average IQ among all the subs on Reddit. People just give such intelligent responses.
