TIL new OnePlus phones still support the older Dash chargers Posted: 30 Dec 2019 05:51 AM PST I was going through some old stuff today, and found the old Dash charger from my OnePlus 3T. Out of curiosity, I decided to try it out with my currently owned OnePlus 7T, and it showed 'Charging rapidly' as opposed to the 'Warp charging' text that usually shows when using the new Warp charger that came with the 7T. Is it that the phones continue to support Dash charge or that they simply support multiple types of fast charging? [link] [comments] |
[12-20-19] There is a update to the OnePlus Community App in the Play Store that enabled Dark Mode. Posted: 30 Dec 2019 02:10 PM PST I never got notified that the app had an update when checking for updates in the Google Play Store, and I check daily, so thought maybe others also never got the update. Has anyone bought a Bullets Wireless 2 from AliExpress? Posted: 30 Dec 2019 05:16 PM PST If so, how is it? I'm looking at OnePlus's website trying to decide if I get the Bullets 2 but AliExpress has them way cheaper than OnePlus's website. Does this mean that the earphones are Type A and not original? ~$120 NZD ($80 USD) on OnePlus's website and ~$87 NZD ($60 USD) on AliExpress. [link] [comments] |

Oneplus 7T - input lag/poor touch response? Posted: 30 Dec 2019 03:17 PM PST I just got my OP 7T and I like everything about it but I feel like it has a slow touch response. Can anyone tell me the specs for the panels used in the OP7T? Do they have the same sampling rate as the 7 Pro/7T Pro? Oneplus said it would be a 38% improvement or 40ms faster than the OP7. Does anyone know the actual figures? Has anyone gamed on the 7Pro/7T Pro vs the 7T? I swear it feels laggy in general use so just scrolling etc but it's really noticeable when gaming. I used to have a far more sharp and precise control over aim but now it just feels loose and unresponsive. I realise it's a different aspect ratio etc so I've played with my FOV and control sensitivity but it just feels off. I've played PUBG mobile on my old 5T and then 6T before upgrading but the input lag seems more noticeable now vs older devices? I've tried switching from 90hz to 60hz in case that was causing any issues but it feels the same. I removed the factory screen protector but it feels the same. I even notice it in miniclip pool! If u pull the cue down it lags behind by fractions of a second. I've never seen that on my older devices and I've played thousands of games. Could it be a faulty device? Poorly calibrated perhaps? Everything else seems to be perfect. I did have some glue seepage around the display but it soon wiped off and it looks perfectly fitted etc. Anyone else? [link] [comments] |
Eartips keep falling out on USB C wired bullet headphones Posted: 30 Dec 2019 07:07 PM PST Hi all, I have been using my wired USB-C bullet headphones recently, but the tips keep on falling off when I carry them in my pocket and most of the time they even fall off right in my ear. Overall, them falling off is very annoying and I was hoping one of you guys would have any tips on how to stop them from falling out. I have tried gluing them on, but the glue didn't stick to the tips and I had to remove it. I've lost so many of them, and am tired of emailing oneplus trying to get new tips for them. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks, Plaz [link] [comments] |
OnePlus 6 battery issue. Anyone else? Posted: 30 Dec 2019 02:38 PM PST Battery on my OnePlus 6 seems to be running out quite quickly. Anyone else having this issue? [link] [comments] |
OP6 screen really dim since the Android 10 update Posted: 30 Dec 2019 03:51 PM PST I've turned off adaptive brightness because it always makes the screen just slightly dimmer than I'd like in a given lighting. Does anyone else have this issue? [link] [comments] |
New Oneplus 7 Pro update has rolled out. What issues are people currently experiencing? Posted: 30 Dec 2019 05:52 AM PST I just got the update today and was wondering if people could tell me the issues many people are experimenting. [link] [comments] |
What notification sound is currently on your OnePlus device? Posted: 30 Dec 2019 09:56 AM PST I'm using default sound, "Meet". Is there a better notification sound you'd recommend for OnePlus phones? Cheers [link] [comments] |
Posted: 30 Dec 2019 01:34 PM PST I don't know if anyone has noticed this before or not, but when I have a timer set the phone decided that it is needed to send a notification every time a minute goes by and displays it on the ambient display(doesn't vibrate or anything just turns the screen on). Is there a way to turn this off? (On beta 7 for android 10) [link] [comments] |
Posted: 30 Dec 2019 04:45 PM PST Hi all! Android newbie here. When I first got my OP7Pro I changed my navigation bar to the one with the back button and home button and you slide up on the home button to open the recent apps menu but when I updated to A10 it reset it and I can't find where I changed it at. I'm also using the Microsoft Launcher so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it or not. Any help is appreciated! I read the rules but I'm not sure if this is against them or not but if so just let me know and I'll remove it. [link] [comments] |
Reliable replacement battery sources? Posted: 30 Dec 2019 04:43 PM PST My 3t is awesome. I love it, but after almost 3 years and an upgrade to the battery leech that is Pie, I need a new battery. I don't want to have to deal with a factory reset and the week or so without my phone to send it back to OP for a replacement, so I was wondering where I could find a reliable 3rd party battery that will ship to the US? I know about ifixit, but their replacement is going to be $30, so I was wondering if there might be another US option that was a bit more affordable, given the fact that the battery sells from OP for under $13. Disabled Fingerprint Animation - Fingerprint option disappeared Posted: 30 Dec 2019 06:57 AM PST Recently I was looking through the fingerprint animation options on a OP7T and I disabled the animation. After doing this, the option for the fingerprint unlock disappeared completely. I've tried undoing the animation changes, force stopped and cheated the cache on the ambient display and also wiped the phone cache. Nothing worked. Was wondering if anyone has seen the same behavior and if there are any suggestions on a fix before getting in touch with OP. Attached are the ambient display options that appear to be missing here and here Edit: The phone is running Android Build 10.0.7.HD65BA. In the screenshots, PIN is enabled atm, but there is no option to enable the fingerprint option. [link] [comments] |
Netflix app overrides brightness settings and maxes it out all the time Posted: 30 Dec 2019 03:36 AM PST Title is self explanatory. Anyone else having this issue? I assume it has something to do with HDR. I have a OnePlus 6. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 30 Dec 2019 08:19 PM PST So as we step into 2020 we are constantly under cyber threats I ask does anyone of you guys use AV on mobile? And if so what? Im testing TotalAV atm but it seems a bit under process. Would like to discuss pros and cons of all the av's that people have experience in. [link] [comments] |
1440 vs 1080 on OnePlus 7 pro battery Posted: 30 Dec 2019 04:12 PM PST After watching the phonebuff video about how their is barely any change in battery life I tried this with my phone today and it just destroyed my battery. 1440 uses so much more battery then 1080 on my OnePlus 7 pro. Is everyone else also getting similar results where 1440 is just such a battery drainer [link] [comments] |

Shutter lag on selfie camera in OnePlus 7T Posted: 30 Dec 2019 07:51 PM PST Is there any way to fix this issue? Most of the group selfies turn out to be blurred cause of the high shutter lag and i never faced this issue on my previous OnePlus devices (3 and 5) [link] [comments] |

Smile detection gone after android 10 update? Posted: 30 Dec 2019 03:45 PM PST Hi, am currently on 10.3.0 on my 6t. I noticed that the capture on smile detection is no longer available on the stock selfie cam. Have anyone found where this option is buried in or has it been removed? Thanks [link] [comments] |
OnePlus 7t pro scrolling problem. Help please. Posted: 30 Dec 2019 01:12 PM PST So I recently got a one plus 7t pro for Christmas and noticed while scrolling on Instagram that there are moments where to phone will try to scroll the opposite way. I have turned on the option to show taps but there is no other tap than my own. Anyone have the same problem or a solution? Here is a video of me scrolling through Reddit where you can see it happen. https://imgur.com/a/Js03BoY Not rooted, on latest os. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 30 Dec 2019 09:18 AM PST Hello guys. Just moved to OnePlus from Pixel 2 XL. Is there any way to set up my battery saver to automatically change from light to dark mode when it turns on? I was able to do that on my Pixel. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 30 Dec 2019 11:15 AM PST Hi. Have recently upgraded my 6T to Android 10 and ever since I have been several black screens throughout the day. Only way to get past is to hold power and volume up. Contacted Oneplus support and they advised me to backup and hard reset, which I have done. No dice. Am still getting issue. Next step is that they want to hookup to my phone tomorrow at a Level 2 session. Has anyone had this issue and know how to permanently fix? The phone had been great up to this point. Many thanks in advance. [link] [comments] |
