Q-Code AA + Monitors Will Not Connect (Pls Help) Posted: 09 Dec 2019 06:25 PM PST This is my first PC build I have ever made. I plugged in my OS after I finished the PC and all of my parts are in it, but the monitors say that there is no source as well as an AA Q-code. I read that Q-code AA was a good sign. This does not change the fact that the pc will not connect to the monitors. Also cannot turn off PC, have to turn it off manually via power supply. Just to make it clear I have not or cannot enter the OS I could use any help. Please ask me for more detail if I am unclear on a topic. Here is my spec list: Asus ROG X570-E Motherboard AMD Ryzen 3rd Gen 3700x Processor XFX Rx 5700 XT Graphics Card Thank you very much. I can put photos if asked. [link] [comments] |
Hard drive data size discrepancy. Posted: 09 Dec 2019 04:08 PM PST My sister's Desktop computer has a SATA hard drive. Its properties show the hard drive size is 700 GB, of which 230 are used and 470 are free. But when I ran TreeSize Free data usage analyzer it showed she only has 100GB on her "C" drive. (She has no files anywhere else that I know of.) The TreeSize report also showed the same 700/230/470 breakdown. I asked some people and and some say the drive is bad get rid of it. (BTW the drive has worked fine for three years.) And so I ran a Belarc Advisor report and it shows the hard drive breakdown in the vicinity of the 700/230/470 breakdown but it also says: SMART Status: Healthy. Some other people suggest running all these diagnostic tests but maybe I should just leave it alone? (The computer has Carbonite backup.) It may have a bad sector but it has tons of available space too. What do you think? Thanks. [link] [comments] |
