Posted: 30 Dec 2019 02:23 PM PST Hey Guys, I thought about authentication in the current Android and I have an idea you might like: I bet most of you give your phone to friends or your partner quite often. I also bet some of them have a fingerprint/face registered or know your passcode. There should be the option to have a hierarchy: Your finger can unlock the phone, authenticate payments, sign you into apps, etc. But your fiends finger can only unlock the phone. This "security clearance" can be assigned to each finger/face in the settings. Other features could then be added like:
