Cultist simulator is the pinnacle of gaming in mobile. It feels like im living a Lovecraftian story. Give it a try and you will be surprised.

"My Turn" is the best TCG I played since Hearthstone

    Posted: 30 Dec 2019 03:22 PM PST

I've recently found out about this game because of a user that spammed this sub with gameplay vids.

I tried it out and it's AMAZING, bad translations but nothing that bad, mediocre voice acting but the gameplay is so good.

In terms of monetization, seems fair enought. It does have a 5usd season pass that makes you progress faster (x2 exactly), no energy sistem but a nice x2 bonus for the first 20 kills)

I don't know what else to say, I really hope you enjoy the game as much as I do.

    Better/Similar Games to Disney's Sorcerer's Arena?

    Posted: 30 Dec 2019 05:41 PM PST

About a week ago I installed Disney's Sorcerer's Arena and was wowed by how well it was done (very fast loading, great graphics and sounds, and so much to do). A FTP user, I went to level 19 in about 2 days, and any progress has come to a complete crawl a week into playing - I can only battle X amount of times per day, and a lot of areas are locked out for me since it takes forever to level up already (I'm about level 27).

The only other game I've played on mobile has been Hearthstone, and I'm done with that - I really enjoyed the turn-based combat and RPG-style leveling up system with Sorcerer's Arena, and was looking for suggestions on other similar type playstyle games. Preferably FTP, but willing to pay a ONE-time app fee if you can convince me of a real good similar type of game. And preferably it requires a bit more strategy or choices - Disney's game kind of plays itself, but is still addicting.

    Thanks!

Any games like the X-Wing miniatures game for Android?

Which version of PvZ is the good one?

    Posted: 30 Dec 2019 11:12 AM PST

I recently was watching King Nidhogg's PvZ survival gameplays and got nostalgic to play the game. There is one problem though.

I've seen that Plants vs Zombies now has ads and supposedly iaps. When I go into the game there is actually no iaps on the main screen, so when do they show up?

There is also another version called zzSUNSET Plants vs Zombies, which is supposedly the old one. Does this one have iaps too (on its GP page it says it does). Here is the link to this version: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.popcap.pvz_row

Are there any decent MMORPG on android? I play MOBAs, but l miss open world ganking and gear collecting/ building.

    Posted: 30 Dec 2019 10:17 AM PST

I played Requiem, Aika, and Guildwars on PC. I play Arena of Valor, its a good game, but i'm getting tired of the whole 5 v 5 arena thing where your ranking depends on 4 randoms.

Free to play with in-game purchases for cosmetics is fine, not really big on pay to win where cashers dominate.

Storyline and lore is not important, but combat and ganking is.

    Thanks on advanve.

    Posted: 30 Dec 2019 07:05 AM PST

[DEV] ShellBreaker - A Turtle Brick Adventure - My first Game release.

    Hey everyone,

I just released my first game called ShellBreaker on google play:

    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.Test.Break

    https://preview.redd.it/coeor8334s741.png?width=435&format=png&auto=webp&s=d9de16ec0920f56930e4dae2e716328b634cdb30

    Description:

Shellbreaker is a brick breaker game such as Arcanoid or Breakout with uniquely themed levels and gameplay elements, including boss fights. It tells the story of turtles on their adventure through 4 different habitats, trying to get to TurtleTopia a long lost legendary turtle paradise.

Feel free to check out the trailer here:

Since this is my first game ever I would really appreciate your feedback.

Please note that the game contains ads, however they are all user triggered and therefore can be easily avoided. Feedback is much more valuable for me.

    Thanks a lot in advance,

Are there any Android devices without wifi/bluetooth?

    Posted: 30 Dec 2019 08:49 AM PST

My job allows me to have devices at my desk, I can play games or whatever but rules for electronic devices say they can't be able to transmit or receive data so no wifi or bluetooth.

I was wondering if there is any android device out there that doesn't have wifi/bluetooth but could run some games. I'm guessing If such a thing exist it would be managed on a pc through a usb connector.

Why do companies remove old games on the play store?

    Posted: 30 Dec 2019 01:56 AM PST

Clear examples are shown from EA. For example, you can't play the old asphalt games anymore, or the old modern combat games anymore, which are actually fun. Most of the old games were offline. EA changed this with an online games with micro transactions, so people can only play the new games and spend money on it. Or is it sinplay because they are way too lazy to make the old games compatible with newer devices?

Please help me find a kid-friendly Shmup that's not full of IAP and ads

    Posted: 30 Dec 2019 06:45 AM PST

My son (7 years old) loves spaceship shoot 'em up-games. He's currently playing "space shooter" by ONESOFT on our android tablet, but as a freemium game, it's full of ads and in-app purchases. He's probably spending half his time watching ads.

Obviously, I don't like that and have been searching for a replacement, maybe up to 10 bucks, without this shit.

I've enjoyed Sky Force 2014 on PC a few years ago, but I know it's too complicated for him. I've installed OpenTyrian and shown him how the typical DOS game interface works, but he can only beat the first level on easy, trying the second level a few times he's so frustrated he cries :o

I'm considerung buying DARIUSBURST -SP-, it's even on sale, but plunking down 5 bucks just to find out it's too difficult again a few minutes later would suck.

Any recommendations for kid-friendly shmups without mandatory ads and plastered left, right and center with purchase special currency buttons?

    Bluetooth controller freezing?

    Posted: 30 Dec 2019 12:28 PM PST

Earlier I connected my Xbox One controller to my phone (Samsung a20) to try and play minecraft, but kept having an issue where, every so often, the controller would freeze and the game would keep doing whatever I was doing when it froze. I installed an app to track the values of the inputs and, sure enough, every few seconds it would freeze up leaving whatever value it had at that moment on the screen for a second or two. What might be causing this and is there any way to fix it?

Any MOBA's with bluetooth controller support by default ?(no 3rd party app, rooting etc)

    Posted: 30 Dec 2019 03:24 AM PST

Just got phone setup with Xbox controller and can't find any MOBA that has controller support.

I remember Lord of the rings MOBA on xbox 360 was fun for me, and wondering if any mobile MOBA exists with controller support.

    Thanks.
