Posted: 30 Nov 2019 06:54 AM PST 2-3 days ago i firsttly got some annoying sounds at a random interval, which makes a mario-like sound. Like a lower pitched and slightly shortened jump sound. I only have Blender, Firefox an Opera opened. Firefox for yt, opera is just there. I primarily heard it when kaspersky made a scan or update, but also while surfing in firefox with blender still in the background. I can't really look for it since kt can happen 2 times / min, or 1/3h.. I don't know but i think it has to do something with blender, kaspersky, utorrent - which is not opened - or a random firefox addon. All I can say is: It's 90% not a windows sound. Need to bypass Factoty Reset Protection Posted: 30 Nov 2019 11:08 AM PST My cousin has a Lenova x104f tablet that had parental controls set up by my uncles ex. Due to her unwillingness to give the password after they broke up, I attempted to set it back to factory settings. The problem now is it requires us to log into her account to set up the tablet, but as we don't have access to her account she pretty much has a brick with a screen. Is there any way to bypass the FRP or would calling Lenova be neccesary. [link] [comments]
144hz asus xg27vq Monitor flickering Posted: 30 Nov 2019 01:38 AM PST I have the xg27vq, I luckily have both an amd card (rx 570) and an nvidia card (gtx 1060 6gb), the monitor can run just fine at 144hz on my amd gpu but when I set it above 60 hz on my nvidia gpu it starts to flicker, I am quite unsure as to what to do, all help is appreciated [link] [comments]
ESC key and F1 through F12 keys intermittently stops working HP Omen Laptop Posted: 30 Nov 2019 07:29 AM PST The top row on my laptop keyboard starting with the ESC key and F1 through F12 keys intermittently stops working(keys on right side of F12 work). An external keyboard works fine. Any idea what's causing this? [link] [comments]
Recuva failed in recovering deleted file. Alternatives? Posted: 30 Nov 2019 12:32 AM PST I remember there was a software I used to use like 7 years ago that did a bit-by-bit scan of deleted but un-overwritten sectors. I accidentally SHIFT + DEL a file and it wasn't backed up anywhere. Tried Piriform recuva before making this post and for some reason 3 files showed up 2 of them have green check marks, but the file i need has a red X over it. I'm not sure why. Anybody suggest or help me find the name of the last program i used? The desktop icon is a blue circle of some kind i think. Its been far too long. If theres any suggestions for newer software that does the same thing I would be happy to try those out as well. [link] [comments]

Esc key causes my computer to lock Posted: 29 Nov 2019 08:59 PM PST Any time I press the esc key it takes me to my log in screen and I have to type in my password again, I've tried deleting my keyboard and reinstalling it but it doesn't change. I also switched keyboards and that fixed the problem but I would like to continue using my nice keyboard without the esc issue. Please help. [link] [comments]
External DVD drive disconnecting when using blu-ray Posted: 29 Nov 2019 03:53 PM PST Hello, So I have a Blu-ray external drive and whenever I put in a Blu-ray, the drive just continually disconnects and connects. (windows 10. GPD Win 2. Drivers up to date) When a normal DVD is put in, eventually it will read the drive. (occasionally disconnect and reconnect) Does a Blu-ray need more power or take longer to be recognized by windows or why do you think this is happening? [link] [comments]

Posted: 29 Nov 2019 01:59 PM PST Hello, I am having an issue. Every time the computer turns on, it turns black after a few minutes being on. I have even open BIOS and the diagnostics and it still went black. Ask me any other questions regarding the issue if this isnt specific enough. I will do my best to answer. [link] [comments] |
