I haven't had a computer in about 5 years and it was a macbook pro. I loved the thing but at the time I had alot of apple stuff so it made sense but now I own nothing by apple. By searching various sites from my country, I've stumbled upon the models listed in the title...the only problem is I can't decide which one of them should I buy. The idea is that the ROG one has an i7-9750H and a gtx 1650, and the TUF one has a R7 3750H and a gtx 1660ti. The price is quite similar, but I must decide which one of them I want. I will also need it for highschool and college work, so it must be future proof. I want to, but yikes at $1,243 for it, after tax. It's a Lenovo y540 17" laptop with 1660ti, 144hz, i7-9750 processor and 8gb RAM. It has a 1TB HDD and a 256gb SSD. From what I saw on Asus' website is that the port is a USB 3.1 Gen 2 port. Couldn't really find any definitive answer if it is able to run 144hz at 1080p.
