| Posted: 30 Sep 2019 06:45 AM PDT Hello! My laptop suddenly started acting up and the keyboard seems screwed. It's combining two characters at once when I press only one key. Kindly suggest how I can fix this, is it caused by some malware or a hardware issue? E.g. when I key in 1234567890 the output is -. | Bluetooth headpones issues windows 10 Posted: 30 Sep 2019 05:29 AM PDT I own a bose QC35 ii noise-cancelling Bluetooth headset (purchased start of 2019) and a Dell XPS (bought this time last year). The headset has worked perfectly fine until last week where it was first playing sound in mono and then when I tried to reinstall drivers it now will not pair at all. I have tried multiple times to remove the device and reconnect it to no avail. Some key points: - My headphones pair with their laptop fine. - When I remove the headphones and restart the computer the headphones is back on my list of Bluetooth devices, it won't connect but it says paired when you press connect it refuses to connect. The bluetooth headset doesnt recognise any pairing. There doesn't seem to be an issue with either device independently but the union of both of them shows issues. Bose have offered to replace it but wont be able to offer the special edition headphones I have, Dell are still looking into it. But i hope the good people of this subreddit are wittier than that! Posted: 30 Sep 2019 05:04 AM PDT I used Samsung's data migration tool to clone my old (and pretty much full) 60GB SSD onto a new 500GB SSD. The process was successful and when I shut down and removed the old SSD replacing it with the new one and booted, it took me to bios; I got the boot order sorted and it went into windows fine. Thinking everything was okay I shut down and connected up my HDD and started up again, this time the screen wasn't showing output. So I shutdown and unplug the HDD to see if that's the issue, it now refuses to show output on my new cloned drive or the old one after some more swapping around. Any ideas what's going on ? | Macbook Air A1466 Keyboard executes commands but can't type normally Posted: 29 Sep 2019 08:58 PM PDT My mom told me to fix her Macbook Air A1466 because at first she wasn't able to login. It was because it was "Safe Booted" or something but once I got past that I couldn't type in the password. The only key that worked fine was "0." I tried different keys but they all would make the error noise except for "3" which took screenshots. I plugged in another keyboard and it works fine but the laptop keyboard still doesn't work properly. I did not get the same issues with the keys when it was under "Safe Boot" and none of the keys feel stuck or obstructed. EDIT: Restarted the computer and all keys are being entered but it is stuck on caps. I tried with caps lock, without, using shift, still does not work. However when I use the external keyboard it works fine still. EDIT 2: Disregard everything I said in previous edit, it's in back in the original state. [link] [comments]  | ||
