[DEV] Hey guys, we are bringing our app Duet Display to Android. Anyone want to try out our beta? Posted: 27 Aug 2019 02:53 PM PDT We are the creators of the app Duet Display (https://duetdisplay.com), which turns your phone or tablet into a second display for Mac & PC. We have long been a popular productivity app on iOS, but we are excited to expand and come to Android (and Chromebooks). After working on it for months, would love to get some feedback on the app from the Android community, and help with beta testing. For at least the first 50 users, anyone who helps us test can get a free copy of the app when it comes out. Would love to hear your guys thoughts on this app for Android, any devices you guys use, and what you think you would use it for. Anyone interested in the beta, please e-mail [android@duetdisplay.com](mailto:android@duetdisplay.com) :) EDIT: Thank you so much for the amazing response! We are going to work extra hard to make this work perfectly for everyone. If you haven't e-mailed yet, please do as we will try to include everyone in the beta, but may separate into phases so we aren't overwhelmed with issues all at once. We have received a lot of requests, so please be patient with our responses! [link] [comments] |

[DEV]WIP Hyper-casual Android Game Orbit Posted: 28 Aug 2019 08:53 AM PDT Hi guys! I just updated my work in progress game, Orbit. Orbit is a hyper-casual game with you controlling a ball in a fixed orbit to prevent it from colliding with enemy boxes. Tap to change direction or tap and hold to slow down. May I ask for comments and suggestions on what else I have to work on and what would you like to see on future update? Note: I'm aware of the bug on the particle animation when a wall type enemy hits the ground. [link] [comments] |

ADM Pro removed from play store. Posted: 27 Aug 2019 10:01 PM PDT I run Malwarebytes every now and then. This time I got a hit for Advanced Download Manager Pro. It said trojan.downloader.agent.dvp. I went to the play store to see if anybody else mentioned it in reviews but couldn't find the pro version of the app. On the free version, the developer said Google removed it. The developer's name on the free version is also different than what I remember. Anybody know what's going on with the app? [link] [comments] |
What is their Google calendar notification, it seems like spam? Posted: 27 Aug 2019 11:47 PM PDT here's the notification saying I've won an iPhone and here it is saying I can't delete it? WTF is this and how do I stop it, I because I've never had anything like this before with Google calendar. I really don't want to stop using it because we have a family calendar set up that works great. Thank you! [link] [comments] |
Looking for a free alarm clock app that enables me to set an alarm at a future date. Posted: 28 Aug 2019 11:26 AM PDT For example: Today, I'd like to set an alarm for a dentist appointment for Saturday March 7th at 8am. Any recommendations? F-droid apps are also welcome. I don't use Google Calendar, so that's not an option. [link] [comments] |

An app to check what data mining other apps do? Posted: 28 Aug 2019 09:59 AM PDT I was reading through this thread called "What app is so useful, you can't believe it's free?" and someone was singing praises about an app and someone else replied saying this: I can't find LuckyPatcher, I wouldn't be surprised if Google removed it from the store. Is there any other app like LuckyPatcher I can get? [link] [comments] |

[DEV] [FREE] | RealNote | Social Augmented Reality App Posted: 28 Aug 2019 12:05 AM PDT We just released our Beta and would love some feedback! RealNote let's you post your content in the real world like digital graffiti. Wheather it is a text, a selfie or a 3D model, you can edit and post it anywhere in your surrounding. Every user will see your content the way you placed it in the real world. See who is getting creative in your surrounding and engage with them in a completely new way. RealNote is a persistent AR world that is shared and edited by everyone. Our App currently only runs on ARCore supported devices. A list of all supported devices can be found here. Phraseboard style android keyboard? Posted: 28 Aug 2019 03:58 AM PDT I was just wondering if anyone knows of any Android Keyboards which allow users to save phrases to keys, like Phraseboard on iOS? If not, does the AndroidOS not allow for this sort of UI to be implemented? [link] [comments] |

Place app (not widget) in Home screen Posted: 27 Aug 2019 11:40 PM PDT As per title, I'd like to have the complete app interface - not a widget - directly visible and available from home screen. Specifically the app is DigiCal and I currently use Nova launcher; my device is a Pixel 3a XL by the way. Thanks in advance for any useful suggestion! [link] [comments] |

[DEV] I created an App for students with some formulas and more Posted: 27 Aug 2019 05:09 PM PDT Hello, I recently launched an application in google play that aims to help students like me. Basically HelpMe is an application divided into two parts: one completely offline and one online. First of all, for the offline part, HelpMe provides all the mathematical, physical and chemical formulas that you need. In addition, you can learn about the bases of biology and improve your method of study with a timer inspired by the technique of Pomodoro. In the online section, all registered users will be able to ask questions about their homework and also share and access exams / tests of other students so that they can study and practice their learning. Posted: 28 Aug 2019 01:12 AM PDT I'd like to do what you were able to do with HDMI cables... Just see my screen on a big screen, like for example the app for Epson projector. If I have a PC but not a Chromecast , are there any alternatives? I've found the app screen stream over http but it says it doesn't work for videos or "heavy" content ... [link] [comments] |
Where to get package disabler pro? Posted: 27 Aug 2019 04:06 PM PDT Can't find it on the play store anymore, and I'm not trying to download from some random apk site. Where can I get a legitimate copy to disable some stuff on a Galaxy s10? [link] [comments] |
A language learning app for kids - Lorolingo Posted: 27 Aug 2019 11:35 PM PDT Hi Everyone! I developed a language learning app for kids called Lorolingo. The app is simple to use: having selected a language and a category, a list of objects are displayed to the user, which when clicked, provide an audio translation of the chosen object (think of it like a soundboard for languages). The app is fairly simplistic as I've just started developing with Android, but I'd like to ask for you to try it out of it sounds interesting to you, and possibly give it a rating or provide some feedback with your thoughts. The app is live on the Play store here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jonathangorman.lorolingo Thanks in advance for your time! [link] [comments] |
