Cyberpunk: The Arasaka's Plot (Java Emulated on Android)

    Posted: 08 Aug 2019 05:45 AM PDT

Way before CD Projekt Red were releasing breath-taking trailers for their virtual Keanu sim, the Cyberpunk IP saw its first video game incarnation. Released exclusively for Java-enabled phones, The Arasaka's Plot was incredibly ambitious - but how well was it executed?

[REQUEST] Game I used to play in high-school.

    Posted: 08 Aug 2019 01:37 PM PDT

I've been looking all over the app store, but haven't been able to find it since I don't remember the name. It may have died even, but I still wanted to check. Basically, the game was that you were put on a circular rail, trying to kill a monster. you had a giant sword and would swipe the screen to slash at whatever monster was in the center of your circle. You could dodge to the sides to avoid damage, and I think there was a block as well? Well, any information is appreciated! Not holding out too much hope since it's probably dead after like 4 to 8 years.

    [DEV] RGB_Climb

    Posted: 08 Aug 2019 03:31 AM PDT

    Hey peeps!

I recently finished studying at AIE in Australia, and a few of my classmates and I decided to stick together after we graduated. This week we launched our first game on the Play Store - RGB_Climb!

It's an arcadey colour-matchy runner-like game, where you move your player to match the colour of incoming walls of blocks. Matching the colour gets you a point, or you can match with the white colour-changing block - you'll get TWO of them sweet points but also might change colour!

It's available on the Play Store here:

    Multiplayer games with skill basedmultiplayer?

    Posted: 08 Aug 2019 02:43 PM PDT

By skill based, I mean games like League of Legends or Starcraft on the computer. These games both have microtransactions and cosmetic items, but they have no influence on who wins the match.

Getting tired of playing games like Warriors of Waterdeep, to name two examples of games that do it wrong. They both have a focus on competitive multiplayer, but the level/gear of your units usually decides who wins, not necessarily who the better player is.

I already play and enjoy Chess.

[REQUEST] Follow up on treasure hunting type games: something with pirate, Indian Jones, and Super Hero themes? SperateGPS games.

    Posted: 08 Aug 2019 01:33 PM PDT

Yesterday I asked about general treasure hunting games as a change up for my normal static walks, runs things. As a follow up looking for two other type of games.

1 game can't find is something with a virtual buried pirate gold thing. Give me the arrrs, and loots. Something with distinct pirate feel as GPS game. Something where the game has a map,and as you follow the map it eventually says you found the loot of the great pirate Jack Sparrow or what ever the actual pirate is.

Next game: Are their GPS games with a Indian Jones thing going?

Lastly: A super hero type GPS game where you get different kinds of fun energetic tasks. Give me the deep voice hail fair citizen what's the problem kind of thing, the guy that gets mittens the kitten from a tree type thing and get virtual points twards cool stuff. Something where the game for one quest might say to stop some thieves at a particular spot with in some amount of time, or general training: follow your budy the other around some kind a track (in the game) . Get points to in game swag, also ideally out of game swag to like cupons and sales for super hero approved stuff at smiths and trader joes for example.

[REQUEST] Game to play with my brother.

    Posted: 07 Aug 2019 11:59 PM PDT

As the title says, I would love any recommendations for a game that I can play with my brother. He is across the country from where I stay and we are having trouble finding a game. We do not directly have to be playing with each other either. We can just be in the same "clan/guild" and communicate. For example, Clash of Clans or Bit Heroes. Thanks!

What can we do about google play ratings (and ratings everywhere based on the 5 star system)

    Posted: 08 Aug 2019 01:28 PM PDT

It seems like the 5 star rating system is not working anymore. People seem to only rate things either 1 or 5 stars instead of giving a realistic rating. I'm just trying to get the conversation going.

[Request] Need a device extension to play games properly.

    Posted: 08 Aug 2019 09:02 AM PDT

So let me clear something I suck at android gaming specially games that use constant movement and actions (Like PUBG or Gangster New orleans or Modern Combat 4) Using gamepads to Android devices makes isn't actually comfortable to me. I tried some of the PUBG triggers to solve this but it isn't perfect either. I remember I used to have PSP and I was so so comfortable with it. (I should mention I use emulators on my Android and also suck at those) Overall I suck at touch controls and normal trigger type solutions aren't comfortable for me. Is there any Android device or extention to Android device Where I can experience handheld console experience from an Android device?

[Android] Free mobile games with the best story.

    Posted: 08 Aug 2019 07:51 AM PDT

    Hi !

So I am curious, what should the mobile game with the best story ? And I ask this question for every genre of game.

Here is what I found by reading forum:

    • Fate Grand Order
    • Honkai Impact 3rd
    • Another Eden (my personal favourite)
    • GranBlue Fantasy
    • Girls Frontline
    • Hortensia Saga (I read many praise for this game).

And well, I just saw people talking about aisan mobile games....

For a western one, from the creator of sunless sea :

    • Fallen London (I have to try it).

So well, yeah. Which games got the best story for you ? A story that is of interest like a console game or even a movie or a novel.
