    Anyone recently come from a OnePlus phone on Oxygen OS based on 9.0, or have enough experience to offer a comparison. Specifically looking at how the methods MIUI uses to get great battery life affects day to day usage.

    On my OnePlus 6, I frequently miss notifications from apps despite those apps being set to not optimize. LastPass AutoFill is basically useless at this point, the service gets killed in the background and will not allow it to restart until the phone itself is rebooted. I'm curious how stock MIUI compares these days.

    I am considering grabbing the Mi 9t, it checks most of the boxes I want, just wish they offered it with 256GB or at least offered expandable storage (preferably without losing Dual SIM function). Not sure it's worth it to wait for the 9t Pro simply for double the storage, as I would actually prefer the 730 for battery savings.

    Duplicated account?

    Hey, I'm new here, I'm looking for answers to my problem but I think no one has posted what happened to me yet (because I already googled it) so I hope some of you here can help me.

    Some time ago I tried to change the way my account showed on my phone, with this I mean, the account shows its full number accompanied by "MI account" , so I tried to change that so it would show my name instead, because I thought it looks better my name than "Mi account" right? I don't remember what or how I did it but I did it, for a moment... I changed the name, refreshed the page and then I found the account was duplicated. Yeah, wtf?

    And now it's annoying because it shows on my calendar every time i want to select a calendar account to organize my schedule and events. So, how do I delete this duplicated fake account? What is this? (sorry idk how to put the screenshot here 😥)

    Suggestions for a launcher to replace miui's default launcher? First experience with miui and I hate it.

    So I recently upgraded from an A2 (android one) to a mi9t and I just can't stand miui. I hate it with a passion. I'm not willing to do a full OS install but I am looking for a launcher to replace the default one. The closer to stock android the better. Thanks!

    PS: Any tips to get rid of bloatware are also welcome. Thanks again.

    Mi 9 SE with xiaomi.eu ROM installed, Netflix not working?

    Recently installed xiaomi.eu version of MIUI on a Chinese phone.

    Netflix doesn't appear in playstore and didn't work when installed from Third party. Only a black screen appeared before crashing.

    Anyone experience this? Or know a possible fix?

    Android YouTube bug

    I got this bug on my new buy Redmi 7a smartphone, when I tap on a video on YouTube, then it keeps playing next 3 videos even without taping the screen. Anyone know how to fix this?

    Xiaomi Mi 9T - light/proximity sensor

    Hello guys,
    I noticed that the ambient display doesn't turn itself off when it's put in a pocket. Is this something intended? I can only see it as a battery draining for no reason type of thing.
    I checked for the sensors and they both work, the proximity one detects if an object is closer than 5cm or not and the light one gives a scale of results, i think both of the sensors are present near the right side of the top speaker.
    The sensors exist and they could be used to turn off the screen in a pocket or when it's put face down on a surface and yet, it doesn't happen. Also, the screen turns on because of notifications in those conditions too, which is, again, not optimal.

    Is this an isolated issue? Are you all experiencing the same thing? Is there an alternative?

    How to remove accidental touch while phone is in the pocket.

    Guys, has anyone notice a lack of performance on the 2 last Android One updates...?

    Antutu went down from 78k, to 75k and now 70k... And Geekbench to 4015 (while I remember to have achieved 4208).

    The "good" scores were with official Android 9 too. I know for sure my phone is not damaged, and I factory reseted it...

    Is Xiaomi trying to nerf Mi A1 to push their owners to buy Mi A3?

    Ways to make MIUI feel a bit more intuitive?

    Just got my k20 pro in the mail. Loving the phone so far the only problem is that I'm not a big fan of MIUI's aesthetics or it's general performance. I know adding a custom Launcher could help with the unintuitive feeling it has but would I have to flash a new rom to make it feel a bit smoother? Thanks

    How do you transfer apps with all settings intact from an old Mi Note 2 to a new Mi 9? Mi Drop used to do it, but the new ShareMe only transfers bare APK files. I don't fancy installing 60 new apps and trying to guess my settings were, and losing all my chat histories, etc. :(

    How do you get your apps and settings over from one phone to another? In 2017 I transferred from my Xiaomi 6 to my Note 2 and all the settings, files, histories etc. were transferred intact with Mi Drop.

    Current state of LineageOS for K20 PRO?

    I'm thinking of switching from xiaomi.eu to LOS 16 Unoffical.

    Is there any K20 pro user who made the switch? On xda the only listed bug is double tap to wake, which I don't need.

    How's the stability of the OS? Battery life compared to MIUI? Charging speeds?

    Would appreciate a detailed answer from someone who used the ROM for at least a few days.

    Need help setting up a RoboRock S50 in a room that changes often due to a baby

    Our room arrangement changes very often due to lack of space and plenty of baby toys and activities, so the room will look one way one day and different the next. I'm not sure how the roborock maps out rooms exactly, but I want to make sure I'm using the vacuum optimally.

    The time it takes to vacuum my room ranges anywhere from 20-45 minutes, but never past that, which I'm not sure if that's right or not. I'm also unable to determine what sort of pattern it vacuums in as it seems very random and different each time it vacuums, which I'm not sure if that's normal or not.

    Should I turn map saving mode off since the room changes so often? Are there other settings that I should look into to extend the cleaning time?

    Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

    Locking bootloader and resetting TWRP to Mi recovery

    Hi guys, i need your help, i want to take my phone basically where it was on beginning. I have mi 8 lite (Platina), i want to install Mi global rom on it (original like it was), i want to reset recovery to original Mi, and to Lock bootloader.

    Is there any tutorial how to do it and which thing should i do first?

    Should I first install original MIUI then lock bootloader and revert recovery or in which order I should do it? Thank you.

    Which phone to choose

    Hey everybody,

    Hoping to get some advice from you guys. I want to buy a new phone and I have been looking at Xiaomi for some time. Have now owned a iPhone 6s since it launched (4 years) and I want to get an upgrade but find iPhone right now too much for my budget.

    The devices I looked at are: Mi 9 Mi 9T K20 K20 Pro Or wait for mi 9T pro

    I like the design with pop up camera but don't necessarily hate the water drop notch.

    I want the 128Gb model at least just to be safe.

    Right now I can get K20 Pro 128GB for €360 but since I live in Europe I need Band 20 for 4G so I think that is not really an option (?)

    Mi 9 64 is priced at €385 now at Amazon.de but I need €128.

    Do you guys think mi 9T Pro is going to be similarly priced as k20 Pro is right now? Is it worth the wait?
