Shake Light you shake, you see Posted: 05 Jul 2019 05:41 AM PDT Hi people I d developed this Android app to turn On/Off the flashlight with a shake of the phone! Is an app with minimalist design and clean, no ads and free. If you had used the motorola built-in app you know this is a feature that you don't know you needed it until you try it! Please if you like rate it on the store and share it with friends! In addition if you want to support this project or the folliwing (a similar app with 3/4 shake gestures with configurable options, like opening any app you want) you can do it by just buying a coffe (https://www.buymeacoffee.com/juanmadelboca) Thanks a lot! *Here's a link to it:* https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kalantos.shakelight [link] [comments] |
Posted: 05 Jul 2019 11:51 AM PDT Basically when I'm reading something I want for my phone to detect I'm reading and not auto turn off screen. For my LG V30. If android has such a feature I definitely have not found it. [link] [comments] |

Any apps for tracking memories? Posted: 05 Jul 2019 05:47 AM PDT Not looking for daily journal type apps, but I have a tendency to remember really old shit from childhood that I'd like to try and document with approximate years if possible [link] [comments] |
p!n (Pin notes to the notification area) Posted: 05 Jul 2019 08:43 AM PDT I want to share an app I found on F-Droid that it's not talked about much. It's called p!n, I prefer it over notin. It's a really lightweight app. [link] [comments] |
Looking for an app to set wallpapers Posted: 05 Jul 2019 10:15 AM PDT I'm looking for an app that will set an image as a wallpaper without moving it on larger images. The preview on both nova and Google's own show one section of the image on the preview, but when I set it, it goes to a different section of the picture that I don't want [link] [comments] |

Cross-platform app development by android only developer Posted: 05 Jul 2019 12:05 PM PDT I've recently created a prototype of an app on Axure and am now ready to start programming. I'd like the app to be cross platform however I have no experience with IOS development so I've been looking around at things like React Native. I'm wondering if I should be worried about performance with this app and if I'm going to need to dive into IOS and Android specific dev if I choose something like React Native. Here is the prototype in its current form: https://4sv24h.axshare.com(feel free to leave feedback). If anyone has suggestions on frameworks please let me know. [link] [comments] |
Automate App (or other): check if *another* phone is online, and if not, email me Posted: 05 Jul 2019 07:32 AM PDT Is it possible to poll another phone for Internet connectivity, and alert me by email if it cannot be reached? Example: phone A is checking on phone B every minute. If phone B does not respond, phone A emails me an alert. Battery use is no issue. Banwidth use is no issue since both will be on WiFi. If not with Automate App, then perhaps what other means do I have to get an email notification if one of my Android smartphones disconnects from the Internet? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 05 Jul 2019 11:10 AM PDT So I recently got YouTube vanced to work after fixing the errors, it's the latest version that's white/black with microg so I'm signed in. All notifications go to normal YouTube, is there any way I can route them for YouTube vanced instead? [link] [comments] |
How to stop SwiftKey from breaking text up into multiple texts Posted: 05 Jul 2019 11:07 AM PDT Been waiting many days to be let into the SwiftKey sub, can't post yet, so I thought I would ask here... My sister has a galaxy note 3 (yes, it's sadly true) and she is using the most current version of SwiftKey. Every time she sends me one long text, it is broken up into chunks (1 of 2, etc.). I can't find any setting in SwiftKey or anywhere else on her phone to change this and it's driving us crazy. Can anyone help please? [link] [comments] |
best iOS Launcher on android? dumb question. Posted: 05 Jul 2019 09:55 AM PDT Looking for an iOS Launcher so i can get an iOS Style look on my OnePlus 3T, any recommendations, i also don't mind paying for a launcher as long as it is quality. one thing i want is app icons must be the same shape as the rest, to make it match, otherwise it's just awkward. [Request] App for studying and/or measure work time. Posted: 05 Jul 2019 04:52 AM PDT Hi Reddit! I'm looking for something like "Forest: Stay Focused" (which somehow don't work properly on my device): an app which you can start and it measures the time you keep working, while not showing any notification or distraction, and then gives you a proportional reward. I saw a lot of RPG-of-real-life kind games and i thought it would be great such a concept in this kind of apps, but it seems I can't find any app strictly focused on your working time... If any of you would help me I'd be really grateful!! [link] [comments] |
Is there a way I can train Gboard to recognize specific words or names? Posted: 05 Jul 2019 07:59 AM PDT |
Frost for Facebook: cannot share Posted: 05 Jul 2019 07:54 AM PDT Hi guys, I'd want to copy a link to a video from Facebook and send it for example in a SMS His F-Droid listing says: Contextual awareness - Frost integrates additional features via long presses. Need to copy a block of text or share a link? Long press the text. Need to zoom into an image or download it? Long press the image! Anyway this is not working, I can select text only in some windows but not always, I cannot copy video links to send... It should be something really simple but it's quite bothering ... Any help? Thank you [link] [comments] |
Any good app for subreddit moderators? Posted: 04 Jul 2019 07:42 PM PDT Hello friends, i was wondering if there was any good app for subreddits moderator, and app that notifies you when someone post something in a sub that you moderate, and the tools to eliminate the post if it was necessary. Evolve - Free Cognitive Training App Posted: 04 Jul 2019 04:34 PM PDT Hi reddit, I am a 18 year old Norwegian indie developer. I love cognitive training apps, but have never been able to enjoy them fully as most off them are quite expensive subscription services. So I decided to make my own economical version. Inspired by apps like Peak and Lumosity, the app takes you through exercise sessions, trying to help you improve your cognitive skills in areas such as reactions, memory, logical thinking, language skills, concentration and multitasking. Please check it out : HERE If you have any questions or feedback, feel free to comment, and I will respond as soon as possible. The next week the pro version will be only 0.99$ so it's the perfect time to try out the free version! [link] [comments] |
Posted: 05 Jul 2019 07:22 AM PDT Hey guys. What do you think is the best office app? Doesn't really need to be free because it only means it probably has ads, but free would be very nice. Thank you in advance everyone. [link] [comments] |
Creating an notification saver app. Posted: 04 Jul 2019 05:03 PM PDT I dont want my data send to some company selling it, so i wonder if it is hard to develop your own notification saver app? I know some programming languages like C++ and Python. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 05 Jul 2019 12:54 AM PDT Basically at X o'clock my app should pop up with a notification and help me out together my to do list by asking me questions about goals for the day or what did I blow off the day before. [link] [comments] |
Google Clock - Alarm - Spotify playlist (and Google Assistant Routine) stopped working Posted: 04 Jul 2019 01:59 PM PDT Phone: OP5 with Android 9 Problem: If I set the alarm to wake me with Spotify Spotify Playlist and Google Assistant routine, it has for some reason stopped working for me. The only thing happens is that the Alarm activates BUT does not play the linked Spotify Playlist but some alarm sound without any hearable sound (like phone is muted). Weird. It has been working say ~week - 2 weeks ago... Also when the alarm starts, there's a text (clearly an error): "failed to switch to local device" on the bottom of the alarm screen. See the images for my setup and what happens and the error message... I'm puzzled... [link] [comments] |
Any good video chat apps for both android and ios? Posted: 04 Jul 2019 09:12 PM PDT My girlfriend and I have been using discord to video chat for over a year now, but for the past couple weeks it's been super shitty with constant freezing and me on Android being a black loading screen so we've decided that if the issue isn't fixed by the time I get back from my vacation in a week and a half that we'll try a new app. Any good apps where we could easily switch from an audio call to a video call that are for both android and ios and work on tablets? I know about Google duo but she'd prefer not to use it for whatever reason. Any other apps? [link] [comments] |
