    Pure white in bright areas

So whenever there is a bright enough white, the screen displays a pure white shade that you can tell is too bright.

    Loose Wire?

    Posted: 24 Jul 2019 05:50 AM PDT

Okay, so my coworker gave me this laptop, and he said the fan didn't seem to work and just decided to open it up with me to see the issue with the fan (ended up fixing the fan.). Everything went fine except the fact i couldn't put all the screws back in, because apparently the pressure from the screws causes the screen to turn completely red. Like it still works, but it would turn red.The screws that didn't go in were the ones under the battery i believe? and a few more. I'm honestly not sure if that would also cause the battery not to work or if that's a separate problem. But, my main problem is that my screen glitches out constantly and i have to lift up the plastic on top to calm the laptop down so my screen works. Plus, if i move it a certain way or bump the charging cable or something the entire thing shuts down, and its super annoying to be honest. i have rubber bands holding up the plastic enough so i just have to move it every so often.

I'm running Windows 10 64-bit on a HP G62-208CA Notebook PC. He didn't wipe the laptop really or anything before giving it to me and there's a few other minor problems that came ever since he put Windows 10 on it. Not sure how much that matters all i really care about is trying to fix the big screen issue and shutting down issue.

This is my first time posting on Reddit so i'm trying my best not to sound too stupid sorry if i wrote a bit much. Any help is super appreciated! :)

I also provided a link (in a link because my laptop wouldn't download the videos for some stupid reason) to a video and photos for a better visual! Hopefully it helps! https://photos.app.goo.gl/swAhNuSFD2m5wdsX7

    Black Screen issue

    Posted: 24 Jul 2019 08:13 AM PDT

Hello, I'm having a little problem, when I turn on the PC it starts normally, with the Windows screen and everything, but when I press a key or Click the mouse to go to the input password screen, the screen turns Black. What can I do? Also what is the safest way to turn off windows in the home screen?

New PC Build, Monitors show no display

    Posted: 24 Jul 2019 07:34 AM PDT

All my parts arrived except for my GPU so I decided to use my old gpu as a placeholder while I wait. Problem is that there is no display to my monitor. On a side note all the fan lights and ram lights are working except for my motherboards's inbuilt lights. I have swapped around the GPU's PCI slot as well as made sure the hdmi cables are plugged into the GPU. My old GPU works perfectly fine when I return it back to my old pc. Where would the problem reside it and how can I fix it?

    Specs:
    Cpu: AMD Ryzen 3600
    Mobo: Aorus x570 elite
    GPU: GTX 970 (temporary)
    Ram: DDR4 16GB Corsair Vengeance Pro 3200mhz
    SSD: Samsung 860evo
    HDD: Seagate Barracuda 4TB
    PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 650W

Pc crashed, now it won‘t finish booting nor reseting

    Posted: 24 Jul 2019 04:35 AM PDT

Yesterday night my pc crashed at exactly 0:00, it just froze, but my music was still playing. I tried to restart it, but when windows wants to jump from the turning dots to the password screen, it just freezes. Windows diagnostics found nothing, and I can't use a backup of the registry, since windows doesn't create them anymore(from what I read). I tried booting into windows safe-mode, that worked. When i tried to reset windows(while keeping my personal data) it just crashed at some point, same procedure the second time I tried it.

When I tried to boot it from a different SSD with windows on it, it worked tho.

    My system specs:

    Windows 10

    Intel core I7-4930K

Nvidia Geforce GTX 780 ti (from Gigabyte)

    2 x 1TB HDD 128 GB SSD

    Asrock x79 extreme4 16GB DDR3 RAM

Every bit of help is appreciated :)

Sony MDR-EX300SLB In-Ear Headphones suddenly very quiet

    Posted: 23 Jul 2019 04:44 PM PDT

So last week I plugged my in-ear headphones into my Samsung S7 telephone and I could hardly make out the sound even on top volume.
I don't think it's a break in the cable because it's still stereo and turning and twisting it doesn't yield any static or discharge noises. I've tested it on other devices, even an old cassette player, because I wondered if it was digitally switched off or something.
It has one button to answer calls or pause music, but that's it.
Any idea what could have caused it?
