[REQUEST] Help with the name of this game

    Posted: 04 Jul 2019 01:44 PM PDT

There was a game I played long ago, got halfway through the story before my phone went dead, I can't for the love of me put my hand on the name though, what I remember is:

    • It was offline with a long story, some customizations, and virtual joystick controls.

    • The protagonist was a little girl that you follow her growing up and going out on a life-long quest to (find her dad?).

    • Main weapons were either hammers or claws, there was a tent you could deploy and rest in also.

    • Enemies were of variant types, I remember some sheep 🐑 , rabbits 🐰, you could chop trees to collect wood too.

That's what I could remember, if someone was to help me with the title, I'd appreciate it.
    Thanks.

TEPPEN (new capcom card battler game) appears to be rolling out atm on ios and android

Check to see if you're in

EDIT: My scorchingly hot take is that it's decent. Obv it's gonna take some time to see how strongly it's p2w, but I'm really digging the real time battle system. It's a mix between the active time battle system from the FF series and clash royale. The capcom set dressing by itself is probably enough to keep me playing for a few months.

Eleven - A Stranger Things fan game

    Hi, everyone.

I've somehow managed to finish a tribute to one of my favorite shows Stranger Things. It's a small and short puzzle game. I hope you like it :)

    Question about controllers

    Posted: 04 Jul 2019 09:33 PM PDT

I don't know if this is a question to ask here, but I'm not sure where else to ask. I'm trying to use my Xbox One S controller via Bluetooth to play some games on my phone, however, I'm finding that alot of games don't have controller support, but do have touch controls on the screen. My question is: is there an app that can let me remap the touch controls on my phone to my controller? For example, if I want to have the right trigger fire my gun, is there an app that, whenever I input the righr trigger, "touches" the phone in a certain spot, so that it fires the gun?

I know it is something that can be done, because Bluestacks, the Android emulator, can do it, though that is on a PC.

[DEV][FREE] Puppy In Peril - Developed part time as a project. Voluntary Ads, No Pop-ups, Play Offline

    Posted: 04 Jul 2019 02:19 AM PDT

    Hey there,

I was stuck at home a lot while looking after babies, so I decided to learn to make games. I started with NO coding/graphics/music experience. I purchased most of the characters and some of the backgrounds, but the rest I made or got for free.

The game involves the Player arranging Shapes into a pathway so that you can move PAPPY, the happy puppy, to the exits at the top. But PAPPY must also collect ammunition and defeat ANGRY MOBS that are chasing him in order to finish each level.

It's unpolished but I think it's good fun and has some creativity in it's design although the controls may seem awkward to some.

A warning though - It is challenging right from the start since you have to plan your moves ahead or you'll get stuck.

I'd really love any feedback GOOD or BAD since I'd really like to improve my work, thanks.

    [Request] Newer Wizardry style games?

    Posted: 04 Jul 2019 12:38 AM PDT

Basically turn based dungeon crawlers with a 1st person perspective and controlling a party of characters, moving step by step on a grid..

Wizardry was the first, but you also have The Bard's Tale and Might & Magic (not to be confused with its spinoff, Heroes of Might & Magic) among others

It's actually a fairly thriving genre on PC, since the Japanese kept making them and they've been published on Steam, but there doesn't seem to be many newer ones on Android. (Which is odd, they are relatively easy to make, I made one 25 years ago in Visual Basic)

There was a similar thread here from 4 years ago, but anything newer not mentioned in that? Thanks, as I've just got a new phone
