[Dev] Work-in-progress, barely scratch the surface. I think I could come up with a left/right handed or both hand setting. The style is pokemon inspired and yea, he walks like a retard.

Why you should avoid Shop Titans

    Posted: 06 Jul 2019 10:51 AM PDT

    Greetings everyone,

I am a mobile gamer due to my time being limited. I browsed through lots of bad online games on the app store and came across Shop Titans.

Shop Titans seemed like a game that would fullfill my passion for maintaing a shop. I always loved managing shops in videogames and always did whenever I had the chance, and thought this game just hit the right spot woth its combination of singleplayer and the few elements od multiplayer.

The beginning seems fine, you are crafting your weapons and armor, selling them and everything and then it starts... To keep it short, from the beginning you are bombarded with exclusive offers. These offers contain exclusive blueprints which cannot be obtained after they expire, breaking the hearts of completionists apart(including me). There are multiple offers of that kind so it breaks even more.

A monthly subscription. If I remember correctly, for 10-15 bucks a month you get better loot(that should be normal loot in the first place), you can repair items with gold(currency you earn by selling, otherwise you pay with gems, a premium current) and discounts on transactions(if I remember correctly 10%). Multiple crafting trees being locked behind a 40 dollar character(yes you heard right, 40) and another one who is 20. There is no way to obtain these workers other than direct buying, there is no was to buy them either with coins or with diamonds(a paid currency but can also be obtained very slowly through the ingame market by selling your items with diamonds).Combined that with general microtransactions and the contradicting statements of the developers "we are not moneygrabbing" leave a lot to be desired but ultimately fail due to greed of a mobile game with 100k dollars budget charging AAA budget level microtransactions for very basic gameplay features.

Shopkeepers, stay away and waste your time with another game that scratches that itch for a shop game, because I am now looking for another one.

Animus (Unpacked) *Dark Souls Type Game*

    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tenbirds.animus2c

This is the same as the old version which was free. But this contains all the IAPs which the free version had when it was released a couple years ago.

Looks good and might be worth a try :)

Recently relaunched my game Hurricane Outbreak on android

    Posted: 06 Jul 2019 07:00 PM PDT

I spent almost 2 years making this hurricane simulator game. It's my first mobile game. I took feedback from everyone on the initial version and spent the last 3 months remaking it. I just relaunched the game. So far I am getting alot of positive feedback from this new version. I hope you try it out yourself. I'm proud to call it a one of a kind game. Theres nothing else like it.

    [REQUEST] Portrait Mode Role-playing Game

    Posted: 06 Jul 2019 06:04 PM PDT

Hey everybody, I've been on a hunt for what's seems like a potentially non existent mobile game. Here is a breakdown of what I'm looking for:

    ∆∆∆ Most important features ∆∆∆

    Portrait Mode (Required)

    • Doesn't have to be playable one-handed, but must be vertically oriented.

    Roleplaying Game

    • Action or Turn based combat is welcome. Fantasy preferred, but not picky on genre if it hits most requirements.

    Skill/Ability based progression

    • Looking for ability to mix and match / create builds.
    • Best example of this is Guild Wars(best system imo)
    • Not a gacha / hero collector

    Multiplayer PVE

    • Dungeons/Quests/Etc

    ∆∆∆ Non-critical features (Nice to have) ∆∆∆

    PVP (Live or Async)

    • Would prefer it not to be castle/base building focused

    Least P2W as possible

    • Skins and Aesthetic are no problem.
    • I'm okay with minor progression boosts (exp, speed, etc).
    • Avoid equipment/skills/dungeon or raid access.

    F2P friendly

    • Prefer everything to be available without paying for IAPs.
    • Willing to pay upfront if there is no subscription or IAPs besides the initial cost.

Unfortunately most games that meet majority of these requirements are either landscape oriented, or Gacha/Collector based. Thank you in advance for your suggestions.

Edit: I have revamped the requirements, as I've now realized they're a bit extreme. Now they're grouped in must haves and nice to haves.

I also saw Carcassone, but I don't think this game is for me

    RanDungeon 3 min of gameplay

    Posted: 06 Jul 2019 09:20 AM PDT

I'm not a YouTuber or anything just wanted to share a few minutes of gameplay from RanDungeon showing off some of the things in the game. You can also easily change your character to a custom Sprite done completely in game, which is cool and I did, mine isn't great but I like it.

I need help finding WIP Android game

    Posted: 06 Jul 2019 02:58 PM PDT

About two years ago I played this RPG game in which you recruited people to fight on something like a 5 by 5 grid. You could recruit knights, these reptile people called "Arbor", huge golems and a lot of other stuff. For a WIP game there was a lot of content. The first area was the typical plains type area, the second was a desert where you freed these goat people from being slaves, the third was this huge town being ransacked by the Arbor and the fourth being a jungle where the arbor were from. I only got to the jungle as it started getting difficult. The game was free with no micro transactions. I think the name had "deck" in it but not 100%. Each person you recruited had unique abilities.

What current low end Snapdragon CPU would outperform a Tegra 4?

    Posted: 06 Jul 2019 04:56 PM PDT

My Nvidia Shield portable is dying. I love the system but the battery is no longer holding charge and I am thinking it is just too outdated and old to be worth the time and money to replace the batteries.

So I am looking to buy a low end phone combined with a Bluetooth controller as a replacement. What is the lowest end current Snapdragon CPU that would outperform the Tegra 4 on both CPU and GPU tasks?

Getting a RPG prologue for a dollar, how would u feel?

    Posted: 06 Jul 2019 07:46 PM PDT

Says there is a really fun RPG game except it's a prologue release, meaning it could be quite short, maybe around an hour or so. Would you pay a dollar for it? Why would people do a prologue release? To gauge the market response.
