Android Gaming Ah yes my favorite game

I like Archero but I'm greatly annoyed by the randomness of getting skills with each level up. It is infuriating wanting ricochet but keep getting orbs or swords (I find those useless although chapter 3 seems to be a good fit for swords). I want a game that let's me choose from all available skills and not random 3.

Fully offline or fully online would be great, Archero occasionally requires connection to start playing which is beyond annoying (my workplace doesn't let me connect to my internet and the comfortable place to sit during break isn't in WiFi range). The reason for saying fully online is to know I won't be able to play it so to avoid annoyance.

Preferably to look similar to Archero. I dislike those bit and pixelated games.

Would like recommendations a non iap game that is a mix of dungeon tales deck building and fighting style and talismans general feel. It would be a bonus if you could gain skills, weapons armor permanently and have a world of exploration.

[REQUEST] Suggestions for fans of Polytopia

Polytopia is the only game (out of many dozens) I have ever gotten my father to play in his own time, not just when I am there to force him.

: he likes the genre so must be remotely similar

:he will not pay to win but he will pay to support (like unlocking the different races in Polytopia) if he plays it

:multiplayer a plus but not a strict requisite, he really seems to enjoy it being turn based -being able to take as much time as he likes before advancing the game.
