Xiaomi m365 Scooter Battery over 9000 mAh??

    Posted: 02 May 2019 09:08 PM PDT

I had a problem when I first got this scooter that it was not charging. After asking for help for several days I connected the Android m365 tool app today and found that it was at 26% when previously it was at 3%. I plugged it in and it started charging! However, only after 15 minutes of charging, it jumped to 76% and another 10 minutes it told me it was full. I connected the miHome app and got the following screenshot:

    https://imgur.com/kogwOQp

The scooter was reporting it had over 9000 mAh which shouldn't be possible. It turns on fine and I tested it briefly and it runs, but after going up and down the hall once, it dropped down to 8000 mAh. Does anyone know what's going on? Is the BMS just busted on it?

And on the Android m365 tool app:

Mi Box S, Google Home and Xiaomi Cameras

    Posted: 02 May 2019 08:38 PM PDT

Does anyone here use a Mi Box S? If someone does, and they also use a Google Home device (like Google Home Mini etc), can you tell me if you're able to Stream amy of the Xiaomi Camera feeds to the Mi Box S. In my Google Home app, the cameras show up as smart devices alongside bulbs etc, so I'm wondering if I can tell my Google Home Mini to show the live stream via my Chromecast device - ie the Mi Box S.

Bluetooth and USB tethering don't work on Mix 3 with MIUI 10.

First venture out of iOS and I've been having lots of issues.

I turn on personal hotspot, and Bluetooth and USB tethering but neither work. My laptop connects to the phone via Bluetooth fine but internet doesn't work.

    Scratch

    Posted: 02 May 2019 07:44 PM PDT

Hello! A couple days ago my Xiaomi Pocophone F1 fell, and (stupid me) it had no screen protector.

I had been researching and i don't want to use things as tooth paste or powder (by the way? Does this work?), I'm afraid it would scratch the screen even more. I've been researching and found something called "UV Glue" and some people say that it fills the scratches when you glue the tempered glass on the phone. So i've come to ask if someone tried this and could share his/her experience, if it works. Also, does any of you know of another potential solution? Thanks!!

Mi Max 3 and Hearthstone question

    Posted: 02 May 2019 06:47 PM PDT

Hello everybody, I was contemplating purchasing a Mi Max 3 but from numerous posts online I noticed that one of my favourite games Hearthstone detects the phone as a Tablet and uses an incredibly small UI meant for tablets.

However recently Hearthstone received a patch in which they said they fixed this issue for numerous phones.

So I was wondering if anyone here plays Hearthstone on the Mi Max 3 and if they did actually fix the issue on the phone or maybe if the small UI isn't actually a problem at all, thank you!

How do I change my keyboard?

    Posted: 02 May 2019 02:20 PM PDT

Dumb question, I know I don't really like the Facemoji keyboard that came together and I wanted to use the Gboard instead, but it appears that I can't uninstall it

Is there any alternative to MIUI Custom Fonts Installer? It works but always changes the wallpaper back to default.

Camera performance Mi9 SE vs Mi8

    Posted: 02 May 2019 05:55 AM PDT

    Hey everyone,

Both devices are in the same price region at the moment. The raw speed should be much better on the mi8. But how does the camera compare? Could anyone here test both devices?

Is there a way to make navigating bar smaller in MIUI10?

    Posted: 02 May 2019 04:42 PM PDT

Until recently I was using Magisk module NavBar height but it's not available anymore since May 1st.

    https://github.com/Magisk-Modules-Grave/miui10_navbar_height/blob/master/README.md

Tried also manually this but system ignores it. https://www.gizdev.com/resize-navigation-bar-in-miui-10-9/

    Smaller €200 phone?

    Posted: 02 May 2019 10:42 AM PDT

I really wanted to get the redmi note 7 but it's 6.3inches which is pretty big. My phone rn is 5.5" and that took time to get used to as well.

Are there any other smaller phones or should I get the redmi note 7 and try to get used to the massive size?

MIUI 9 Clock-Weather widget for any launcher (Updated+Tutorial)

    Posted: 02 May 2019 04:16 PM PDT

So I've been working on this Clock-Weather widget to make it look like the default Clock-Weather widget of MIUI 9. I already post it before but I couldn't find the original widget font, now I found it and wanted to share with you. For now there's only two images for the weather icon, you can only choose one, but I'll be working on it to make it change automatocally with the weather. Widget app: KWGT.

    Sample | Download

    Step 1: Installing the fonts

There are three font files, put them into Internal Storage>Kustom>fonts. Note: you'll only use one of those fonts but if you want to change it later...

    Step 2: Making the clock

Do the same as in the images.

Make sure to choose the correct font (Miui Thin)

    Launch App: Clock

    Step 3. Making the date

Again, do the same as in the images.

    Don't forget to put $df(EEE, a)$, $df(MMM)$ $df(dd)$ in the Formula Editor.

    Launch App: Calendar.

Step 4: Making the weather icon

Tap Pick Image and choose Cloudy.png or Clear.png (I'll be working on real time wheater icons)

Do the same as in the images.

    Launch App: Weather.

Note: if you have KWGT Pro, just do the step 1 and import the file miui9weatherwidg.kwgt

Xiaomi Mi 9 - "phantom music" playing according to lockscreen view

It states, that some music "unknown" is currently being played.

What's causing this and how do I prevent/disable it?

On a sidenote: How do I make the chosen theme full english? System language is set to english but this theme specifically only shows asian characters...

I leave mine on standard contrast because it looks warmer without the weird sunlight effect you get with automatic contrast. Increased contrast looks too cold

Mi Remote - Tasaki Air Conditioner

    Posted: 02 May 2019 01:27 PM PDT

Hi! I have a Xiaomi M1A1 with an IR Blaster. My Mi Remote app however, doesn't have the built in codes for a Tasaki A/C Unit. Despite the way the name sounds, this is a Thai brand. Using the codes that fall under "Thailand" didn't help either. Has anyone here been able to control a Tasaki A/C Unit with the Mi Remote? If so, what brand profile did they use? Thanks!
