Problem downloading fortnite on the mi9. Posted: 13 May 2019 06:19 PM PDT After downloading fortnite apk from the fortnite installer and letting it download, every time I turn off the display or press the home button the download stops until i turn on the display or return to the game. I already turned off miui memory optimization for the game and locked it in the memory by long pressing on it in the multitasking view, any solution? Has anyone faced this problem? Thanks in advance :) [link] [comments]
Questions about the Black Shark 2 and it's support Posted: 13 May 2019 05:53 PM PDT I am very interested in the Black Shark 2. I've done some heavy research about the phone. It seems like it supports LTE according to its specs and viewing the wireless carrier band requirements in the US. Do you think the phone is capable of running LTE in a company like AT&T? My other concern is also GPS capabilities in the US. Will I have any problems with GPS in the US with this phone? [link] [comments]

Question about the Redmi Note 7 Posted: 13 May 2019 12:52 PM PDT Hello everyone, you might remember me from that post about getting a new phone (had a few options). Since I decided to go for the RN7, I wanted to ask all of you, what accessories do you use for it? By that, I mean, the case, the tempered glass, any grips, whatever it may be. Thank you in advance! Posted: 13 May 2019 06:17 AM PDT I've been eyeing the Mi9 for a long time, but the Xiaomi always have downsides to their devices. The Mi9 looks like a fantastic device, with great specs, beautiful design and attractive price. But, I know in typical Xiaomi fashion, the camera is good, and the software is not the greatest. So my question is, should I buy the Mi9 despite of :
And the list goes on? Any alternatives for the Mi9? [link] [comments]
Is there a way to unlock devices running MIUI without erasing data? Posted: 13 May 2019 03:08 PM PDT Hi! I'm running a Note 6 Pro for about a week now. I've been always messing with android: custom roms and stuff. But MIUI kinda restricts a bit for me. I want to enable camera2api: thats it. Not caring for root nor pixel experience. Just GCam. Is there a way for me to unlock my bootloader without erasing all my phone's data? Thanks! [link] [comments]
Former Mi A1 owners - what did you replace yours with? Posted: 13 May 2019 02:15 PM PDT I was hoping to hold onto my A1 for the time being and see out the end of the updates; however, I dropped it accidentally at the weekened and cracked the screen. https://i.imgur.com/kJZFfEV.jpg The longterm plan was to wait for the A3, but now I'll need a replacement sooner. I really liked the Android One platform and updates. Anyone in a similar situation, what did you change to? [link] [comments]
Posted: 13 May 2019 01:30 PM PDT Hey guys, I've had my Redmi Note 7 for about a 3 weeks and today I noticed some green "laser-y" dots when taking pictures on low light. As you can see they aren't always on the same spot and they move while I also move around the light source. This only happen today. The third picture was taken two weeks ago and there weren't any dots. Could it be dust in the glass? I've tried to clean it but they keep showing up. [link] [comments]
Xiaomi home products are really unreliable and is really inconsistent Posted: 13 May 2019 01:04 PM PDT So automation is really unreliable sometimes it just stops working randomly and I can't seem to fix it. As example: when someone walks by the light in the kitchen turns on or when there is no motion detected after 2 min the light turns off. But those are working for some days then it randomly stops working and it really sucks and makes me regret buying those products [link] [comments]
Should i go for the new mi 9 or settle with a p20 pro? Posted: 13 May 2019 12:14 PM PDT Well i want to buy a new phone with great camera at 500 price mark and people suggested me the mi 9 or the p20 pro which one would you suggest and why Main features that i need Camera (i am into phonetography) Durabillity Many suggested the p20 pro because of the amazing low light perfomance that destroyes mi 9 and some suggested mi 9 saying that it has a better camera setup and the low light perfomance could be boosted with a gcam rom [link] [comments]
Posted: 13 May 2019 12:48 AM PDT I'm currently using a redmi note 5 plus, wanna get a new phone. My options are Mi 9 se or wait for Mi A3.looking for great screen and camera. Mi 9 se I like it's amoled screen, camera, perfect size, bigger processor but smaller battery. Another option would be to wait for the Mi A3 it would be nice to have stock android, the problem is the launch date hasn't been announced yet and can only wait till mid June, the latest teaser show triple camera and dual guess that is mi A3 and lite respectively. Other also suggest that since mi 9 se wasn't released in India, the mi A3 will be a re branded mi 9 se with a 730 processor. [link] [comments]
Xiaomi smart home kit won't work after Mi Home updates. Posted: 13 May 2019 11:33 AM PDT I've been running the Xiaomi smart home kit for over a year. I have the Gateway hub, two door sensors, 2 temperature sensors and one PIR motion sensor. Also have the Xiaomi smart alarm clock. I love it. So much tech for the money. As a security device it's amazing, sending notifications when the doors open etc. Since the most recent mi home app updates I can't see any of the connected devices. Have tried to re pair everything to the hub again without success. Just hangs trying to connect hub to the router. I've always been connecting to China server and I'm located on the UK. Very frustrating that app updates would clear all the connected devices. Anyone else had similar issues in the last month or so? [link] [comments]

About flashing official ROM's and bootloader Posted: 13 May 2019 10:36 AM PDT I am pretty new at this so, I have a few questions first I have Xiaomi mi 9 EAA version can I flash global version beta and lock a bootloader ? And second if someone have tried lock a bootloader for Andriod Q beta ( I really like google skin maybe because my previous phone was nexus 5x ) ? I am asking about locking bootloader because I want to watch Netflix and Amazon prime on my phone so I need L1 certificate . P.S As far as I understand I can lock bootloader as long as I am flashing official Xiaomi Rom's correct if I am wrong. [link] [comments] |
