Windows 10 stuck in an endless restart loop Posted: 13 May 2019 12:56 PM PDT My computer has recently been blue screening a lot. I looked up various ways of fixing it to no solution. After a few weeks I've decided to try a factory reset to see if that would help. However, now the computer wont install Windows past 64% and continues to endlessly reboot. I've looked this up and Google keeps insisting I need to press F8 to get Advanced Options and boot in Safe Mode. But it simply does not work. I cannot get into Advanced Options at all. Does anyone know how to boot in Safe Mode on Windows 10? NOT through Start menu, like Google thinks I'm asking. As in get to safe mode from the moment the computer starts or any other solution? Please help me solve this issue [link] [comments] |
Randomly Computer can’t find windows boot up hard drive Posted: 13 May 2019 02:26 AM PDT Recently developed an issue Seems to be somewhat random that when my computer boots up it cant read my primary windows 7 hard drive When i reset or turn off the computer a few times it then eventually finds it and starts windows as normal The annoying thing about this that it is so random I did a scan of my drive with Macrorit Disc scanner , that did not find anything Windows repair on boot up did not find anything to fix Edit: To mention i have 2 hard drives , the 2nd hard drive mainly used for storage, is fine no issues , I also have a dvd- burner no issues with that [link] [comments] |
PC turns on automatically / won’t turn off or display anything on screen Posted: 12 May 2019 06:12 PM PDT So this started a couple months ago & I just have been super busy and haven't really had a chance to dive in and fix the issue at hand. So basically I plug my desktop in & flip the power switch on power supply and the PC automatically turns on without pressing the actual power button on top of the case. Nothing is displayed on the screen, yet the lights/fans inside case (including the power supply fan) are all running. I am unable to turn the PC off via, the power button & the only way to power it down is from flipping the switch on power supply or unplugging it from the wall. No idea what could possibly be wrong with it because the night before all this started happening it was running just fine. TL;DR: PC turns on automatically when plugged into power, no way to turn off other than flipping power supply switch. Nothing is displayed on screen yet all components, fans, lights, etc seem to be running. Any help is greatly appreciated!!! I really miss gaming & would love to get my PC back & running again haha.
