I wish there was a way to select a theme -- scenery, buildings, or textures -- because I do like those wallpapers. Something to consider as a feature because I'm sure a lot of people like daily wallpapers. [link] [comments]  |

| Should I upgrade from my OnePlus 5 to the OnePlus 7 Pro? Posted: 12 May 2019 09:23 AM PDT Got the OnePlus 5 shortly after launch, and it's been serving me well. My birthday is coming up in June and looking at all of the information about the 7 Pro, it's seeming like a huge upgrade. The pop-up selfie camera doesn't bother me as I don't take many selfies and never use the face unlock anyway, and I barely use earphones, seldom enough that I actually don't mind the lack of 3.5mm jack. What are people's thoughts? Should I go ahead with the upgrade or should I just wait it out? Thanks for any advice guys. [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 12 May 2019 04:16 AM PDT A few months ago, I used a friend's USB-C to RJ45 connector to use Ethernet in my phone. It worked just fine then. But now, it won't work. Did OnePlus withdraw Ethernet Support? Or am I missing something out? I have switched on OTG, and the lights in the adapter are blinking, but it won't work. Any solutions? [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 12 May 2019 04:40 AM PDT I'm torn between getting the 6T which, afaik, doesn't have any major bugs or problems, or waiting and get the 7 non-pro as soon as it's available. I think and hope that OP puts a lot of time into research and testing before releasing a new phone, but would pre-ordering the 7 be "safe"? | Posted: 12 May 2019 06:44 AM PDT My carrier is Vodafone India, I'm on oneplus 6T, and until a few days ago, whenever a call ended, it would give me a pop up with the duration of call and all that, and I was fine with it. But since then, what I get now is the pop up message with an option to save it and cancel it and it starts a whole new activity and not just a pop up. It is very annoying because instead of touching anywhere else, I have to click on cancel. This happened recently and I didn't do anything to mess with it. Any help would be appreciated. | Posted: 12 May 2019 01:57 AM PDT First of all, I love this phone. It's smooth, fast and has a great design. But I have some small concerns. 1. The silent mode for alert slider works only if I push it with some force. 2. Whenever I exit an app, the multitasking screen pops up for a split second. I checked other launchers and I found out it was the launchers problem. I hope it'll be fixed in the future updates. 3. I got about 7 hours of SoT on the first day but I'm getting 2 hours lesser nowadays. 4. Mine is the 8GB variant but I find that apps won't be open in the background and when I come back to it, it refreshes. Let me know your views on this. [link] [comments]  |

From my understanding, OnePlus phones get 2 major android updates and the 7 and 7 Pro are shipping with android pie. | Posted: 12 May 2019 11:46 AM PDT Hello redditers, Recently i have had a problem with my oneplus 5, to be more exact with the app Waze. Long story short, today i have found myself in a unfavorable situation , the police blocked some roads and I couldn't find any paths to my home, so I thought Waze will do it, but.. big surprise.. "No GPS.. Showing aproximate location". I had GPS turned on and the mobile data turn on as well, I stayed like 10 minutes so it gets for sure good GPS connection.. but nothing. Is anyone else experiecing this problem? I have seen that on google maps the GPS is working, and other apps as well. Thank you so much for reading! And sorry if there are any posts with the same subject in here, but I am desperate right now! | Third party cables that will allow for dash charging? Posted: 12 May 2019 01:07 AM PDT The cable that came with my OP3 recently crapped out. I replaced it with a generic USB-A/USB-C cable. The only thing that kept me from ordering online was that I needed a new cable right away. Now that I've got it, I miss the dash charging for those moments I'm short on time between getting home and heading out again. Any good options on Amazon that will enable me to dash charge again? | Issue with my suddenly bricked OnePlus3 Posted: 11 May 2019 11:20 PM PDT My phone apparently bricked while it was in my pocket. I tried to factory reset it, no luck, I tried to sideload the latest build through recovery, it just went to 94% says its finished and didn't work. Then I treid that "qualcomm method", using msmdownloader tool (side note: it doesnt work in windows 10) . It worked, I had Android 6 running, but wifi didn't work at all. After tinkering for a while, i found reverse tethering and updated my phone with official update, but it got stuck at bootloop again. Now I dont know what to do. Are there any other ways to check if its hardware issue? Can my phone be salvaged? [link] [comments]  |

I am planning on purchasing a OnePlus 6T very soon after doing a lot of research, however with the release of the OnePlus 7 coming in a couple days, it lead me to wonder if the 6T will still be available for purchase on the official OnePlus website. And, if so, will they lower the price as the OnePlus 7 releases? Edit: I just checked a related question about the lowering of the prices, and it seems like they do, but, again, will the phone be even available still on the website is the main question. Thank you!
