Is it possible to buy a new oneplus 3t right now?

    Posted: 01 Apr 2019 04:46 PM PDT

    Hi

Is it possible to buy a new Oneplus 3t right now? Where can I buy it? If it is not possible then do you have a phone you can recommend instead. Im using the xiaomi redmi note 4 and I just hate the ads. Its an OCD thing for me. Just need a reliable phone that works and this has good specs minus the ads.

    Galaxy Buds vs Airpods

    Posted: 01 Apr 2019 08:40 PM PDT

    Hello all,

I was wondering if any of yall own or have owned either the galaxy buds or airpods and if so what was your experience like?

I am torn between the two and have seen some issues constantly pop up under reviews for the galaxybuds and the full features not being available on the airpods so just looking for opinions.

    Thanks in advance.

Screen burn - asked to take pictures of it

    Posted: 01 Apr 2019 09:35 AM PDT

I noticed a couple days ago that my OnePlus 6 has gotten some major screen burn. The keyboard is visible, the browser address bar is visible, there's this weird straight line visible. I contacted support and they told me to... take a picture of it. How the hell am I supposed to take a picture of a white screen ( that's when it's the most visible ), cause it gets all pixelated and doesn't show it properly.

What am I supposed to do?

Battery life on my One Plus 3 I purchased on launch day

    Battery life https://imgur.com/gallery/fP3nGCs

While my battery life is less than stellar it is understandable considering I am a heavy power user, I have probably put my battery through 2000 cycles. Today is my last day with this phone and performance is still as snappy as always. I would like to thank this community for lots of great Information and I hope in the future I am able to use another one plus device.

(T-mobile) Disable rcs? Text from fellow 6T user not coming through

    Posted: 01 Apr 2019 02:09 PM PDT

Is there a way to disable rcs?

I have a buddy who is also on t-mobile, we both have the 6T.

For the last week I thought he wasn't responding to my text messages. Finally today I randomly open the stock messaging app and boom... All his texts are there.

    I use the Textra app.

I really don't want to have to use the stock messaging app just to text my friend.

    Any ideas?

Anyone else have a voicemail addressing people by name?

    Posted: 01 Apr 2019 05:41 PM PDT

Weird question I suppose but my cousin freak out that the robotic voicemail answered him by name which I assumed was an April's fool's day joke at first until I dialed it myself. I'm on T-Mobile and have a t mobile OnePlus 6T but I flashed the stock software onto it. None of my family's t mobile phones are doing it and the names it answers does seem to come from my contacts.

    Update?

    Posted: 01 Apr 2019 05:02 PM PDT

Hey there! Just got my 5T. I'm bootloader unlocked and rooted with magisk. My question is, how do I update to the latest update? I tried and it failed so I'm guessing it's because of being rooted? I downloaded the file direct from OnePlus as well. OTA was saying I'm current before and after root.

Wireless Android Auto - Does it work for anyone yet?

    Posted: 01 Apr 2019 04:50 PM PDT

I still haven't gotten it to work. Will it ever work wirelessly?

How can this tech gain traction if the phones don't support it? I hope OP can address it's issues.

Have you got it working yet?

Quick Question: Will the OP 5T be updated to at least android Q?

    Posted: 01 Apr 2019 06:50 AM PDT

I just wanna know since I could potentially get one and want to know if it will recieve that update because I don't plan on upgrading until after 3 years. My choice is between the 5T and the Poco F1, thanks.

    Going from OP6 -> P30 Pro

    Posted: 01 Apr 2019 09:17 AM PDT

So today I did it, I ordered my P30 Pro phone and will be replacing my beloved Oneplus 6 phone that I've had since launch. OP6 is my first Oneplus phone and it has been a blast ever since first day. Having a phone with those specs and the speed it has, for the price have made it one of the best and most satisfying phones I have ever had.

The reason I'm updating to the P30 Pro is because of the new 40MP + 5x zoom camera. I take daily photos with my phone and after looking at different P30 Pro reviews and photo samples, I just had too get it.

I'm hopefully returning to Oneplus with the Oneplus 7, if it meet my expectations. I cross my fingers that it has the 5x zoom lens that Oppo has been showing of lately. I know I will be missing a bunch of stuff when I saw phones. And it's a lot of critical things I'll miss:

    • Notification light
    • Fingerprint sensor on the back
    • The alert slider
    • Quick gestures
    • 4K@60FPS!!
    • Software updates relatively fast
    • This Reddit community (and the community around Oneplus in general)
    • Headphone jack
    • OxygenOS

Some of the P30 upgrades that makes me switch:

    • Wireless charging
    • 5x zoom
    • 40MP main camera
    • ip68 rating
    • 4200mAh battery
    • 7nm prosessor for better battery life
    • Ultra wide camera

I'm really crossing my fingers for the next Oneplus phone to be unveiled, because I'm sure OP6 is not my last phone from this brand.

    OnePlus 3 3.5mm jack port

    Posted: 01 Apr 2019 08:46 AM PDT

I've had my OP3 since the release day and it has been a perfect, reliable and quick (quick enough for me) device. However, in the last couple of weeks the 3.5mm jack port started to act up. Something happened and now the headphone jack literally pops out of the socket when I move around with the phone in my pocket. It still "clicks" on jack insertion but it's become extremely easy to pull out the jack and I suspect there is some kind of mechanical failure in the headphones port.

So the question is, how repairable is this problem? If not repairable what are my best alternatives for a cheap, reliable Android phone with a headphones jack? Since I don't like wireless buds I was also wondering if I could maybe use my OP3 with a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter?

    Experiences with OnePlus warranty

    Posted: 01 Apr 2019 08:12 AM PDT

My OnePlus 5 gradually developed a problem with both the USB port and headphone jack. I sent it off for repair, but they've stated that it's not covered under warranty because there's a scratch on the body next to the USB port.

Has anyone else had problems getting faults fixed under warranty?

Recommendation for a clean/professional-ish popsocket for OnePlus 6 Spigen case?

    One plus 3 sont boot

    Posted: 01 Apr 2019 11:28 AM PDT

It's stuck. When I press the power plus volume down key it flashes a screen a reboots right away but I see some of the text and see a red warning triangle and seen battery too low. If not on charger it won't boot at all. When I plug the charger on it, it just constantly boots to splash page and rebooted with a vibration. Battery or motherboard? I just banged it lightly out of frustration and it started charging....

    Op5 Rom

    Posted: 31 Mar 2019 10:27 PM PDT

Which rom are you using? I am in Pixen OS but it's a discontinued version (about 3+ months since that) and its stable, so I didn't bothered changing it. But I feel it's about time. Which one do you recommend?
