| Posted: 05 Feb 2019 12:01 PM PST First time dropped ~1mo ago, barely cracked display (with liquid glass screen protector) and phone went blackscreen. Repaired screen and just recently dropped again (with another liquid glass screen protector). No new cracks/dents in phone screen but it blackscreened again, but this time it does not respond (vibrate) when turning on/off phone or when using TouchID as it normally does. Charging/turning on/off does not change anything. My computer also recognizes it when plugged in. Is this a problem with the screen or with the phone itself? Possible solutions? [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 05 Feb 2019 10:10 AM PST My phone shut off mid recording of a video on my galaxy s8. It seems to have locked my micro sd card, and there is now a corrupted file I cannot get rid of. I've tried everything. Separate issue. I bought another sd card a samsung evo 256gb, windows will not format it. Period. My phone wont recognize it. None of the suggestion formatting tools will touch it. Aomei tells me the card is locked by another program despite it being a new card from amazon. WTF. Screw technology. [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 05 Feb 2019 09:07 AM PST So my old gfx card died recently. So i went down and bought a new gfx card AMD Radeon RX 580. When I play gpu intensive games. IE Rust, Insurgency sandstorm and Apex legends. I get a black screen for a second then I receive input again. When the black screen happens I can hear sound. My drivers are all up to date. I thought It could have been a heat problem with the card so I bumped the fan speeds all the way up same problem. (also i should not have heating problems i have 4 fans and a Liquid cooler on my CPU also my CPU is an amd fx 8350 idk if that helps). at this point idk what to try/do. This dosn't happen in Other games IE Csgo,LoL,Wow,roe. Just those 3 games I have mentioned. Sorry for my bad English. English is not my first language. [link] [comments]  |
| Cannot install Windows 10 on M.2 SSD w/ MSI Board Posted: 04 Feb 2019 07:58 PM PST Recently built my first desktop. I seem to have installed everything correctly as it all turns on properly, but I cannot get windows 10 to install on the M.2 SSD. I persistently get 0x80300024, 0x80042428, 0x80070057 or some other error where windows claims it cannot install to the selected drive/partition. I have attempted installing with CSM enabled/disabled, in UEFI and UEFI+Legacy, in GPT and MBR format, and with the both the default USB loader and a USB loader generated with Rufus to be GPT compatible. I'm at wits end. I'm not incredibly experienced with bios stuff so I can't tell if there are settings that I'm missing but every online guide/solution I've tried has just resulted in the same group of errors. The board is an MSI Z390-A Pro The BIOS is MSI Click BIOS 5 ver 7B98.140 The SSD is an XPG SX8200 Pro (1TB) [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 04 Feb 2019 06:42 PM PST I have 30K Twitter followers and I can't scroll to the bottom of the list to see them all. It just buffers. One night I left a weight on mouse so it could scroll all night but in the morning I was nowhere near the bottom because the scroll slowed to a crawl. I'm running Zorin on an HP 8470w laptop with an i7-3520M processor and 12G RAM. Is it the browser? Or do i need more RAM/ Or what? I'm using Chromium but of course i could use any browser if one would work better. Thanks! [link] [comments]  |
