Horrible OnePlus Official service Posted: 26 Feb 2019 01:41 AM PST Dropped my 2 years old OP3, screen cracked. Sent it to official service in Poland cause screen replacment and new battery shoulda costed me 97 EUR with labour and VAT included which suprisingly sounded very cheap. Created service request. My phone was picked up by UPS few days after. Delivery to service center to Poland and back is free so that is also great. But then problems start. I recieve quotation for replacment of every fucking component. 305 EUR. New screen, new battery which I asked for but then new backplate and new Motherboard and new fingerprint sensor (WTF). I tought that it was just a misunderstanding and that sending mail to service center will resolve issue. Sent 2 emails in 5 days no response. Tried CTDI service center on phone and was on the line first in waiting for the agent for more then 25 minutes, all the calls combined 40 minutes always first in line never answered. Lot of roaming charges too :( Then I contacted OnePlus support and they at least didn't ignore me but they also weren't very helpful. I managed to explain situation and expected new quotation. Recieved document to sign for partial repair. Signed it and few days after I recieve service receipt on which it says 0 EUR and that nothing is replaced and shipping number. So after all that they ship me my phone unrepaired. I'll probably go this week to buy a Xiaomi I can't be bothered to recieve this same treatment with next OnePlus phone. TLDR: Sent OP3 for out of waranty screen replacment and battery seplacment in CTDI Poland service center, recieved 305 EUR quote instead of around expected 100. Talked to support and expected new quote, few days after they sent me phone back untouched. EDIT: phone arrived back unrepaired, I will order new screen and repalce it myself to see if it works which I belive it will. [link] [comments]

New to OnePlus. What should I know? Posted: 26 Feb 2019 06:57 PM PST I'm nerving myself up to buy a OnePlus 6T tonight. This will be my first, as I've been using Google phones for about ten years now. Is there anything that I should know? I'm thinking of getting midnight black, 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. I see that it comes with a case; is that good enough, or should I consider another one? What about the extended warranty and damage protection plan? What with the deductible, I suspect that the damage plan isn't worth it. But maybe I'm wrong. Is there anything else that I should know? Any advice would be very appreciated! [link] [comments]
Oneplus 6T has removed the Voicemail feature without a prior notification or a system update. Posted: 26 Feb 2019 08:49 AM PST Is this normal? I have been using the phone dialer's Voicemail tab multiple times a day, every day. Woke up this morning to find it gone. Reboot didn't help. How is this possible? A silent remote update? How does the glass on the 6T hold up without a screen protector? Posted: 26 Feb 2019 06:16 PM PST I ordered a screen protector for my 6T from Simply Carbon Fiber that arrived today. The factory screen protector was attracting a ton of dust and was always covered in fingerprints; it was driving me crazy. However, the SCF screen protector that I got was a pain in the ass to apply, and I couldn't get all the bubbles and dust out. Normally I'm pretty good at applying screen protectors (I do it as a job) but this application sucked. So now I'm stuck with no screen protector on my phone for the time being, and I'm just wondering, does anyone have an experience going screen protector free with the 6T? Does it scratch easily or has it held up pretty well? [link] [comments]
Posted: 26 Feb 2019 05:26 PM PST Does anyone have issues with the left screen sometimes? I'll swipe right and the Google app sometimes doesn't load and the home screen will be stuck off center. The only way to fix it seems to be to restart. [link] [comments]
Should I stay or should I wait? Posted: 26 Feb 2019 02:01 PM PST Hey 1+ folks, I broke a display on my S8. I kind of considered 6T, but now I am deciding between waiting for 7 and buying S10. Any idea when they will show the 7 and what is eta? [link] [comments]

Oneplus facebook support, is this a joke? Posted: 26 Feb 2019 09:14 AM PST Hello everyone, Ive the Oneplus bullets wireless and I'am having some issues from the beginning about the working distance. having my phone in my back pocket and listening some music while I walk the audio stutters sometimes. ME: ... The issue is with the working distance. If I stand my phone on some table and walk 2 out 3 meters from it, with the wireless bullets connected the audio will glitch, not always, and is not constant, but will stutter for a bit. The more the distance the more it happens, and if I move my head rapidly it will happen more often. When just walking to work and having my phone on the back pocket the sound will stutter too. Thank you for your time. OP: Not a problem. We are sorry for this inconvenience. We could perform some troubleshooting steps in this regard. Kindly follow the below steps to reset the Bluetooth option: SettingsSystemReset Options>>Reset Wi-Fi mobile & Bluetooth Additionally follow he below steps to wipe the system cache: Power off the device and press the volume down and Power buttons simultaneously for 15-20 seconds. * Select the Language as "English". * The recovery screen will appear on the display. * Select "Wipe data & cache". * There you will have three options saying "reset system settings", "erase everything" and "Wipe cache". * Then again select "wipe cache". * Then select "Yes" * Then select "reboot". Kindly observe the results and get back to us. ME: Well, i tried the bullets wireless in 3 smart phones and all of them.do the same will this steps do anything? OP: The steps that have been provided were to reset the software part of the device. Since you mentioned the same issue is occurring while connected to other devices, we could suggest you to raise a repair request and send in the bullets to our service center where our technicians can have a closer look and figure out the exact issue and help you resolve it accordingly. ME: Hi. The bullets wireless are still doing the same after all the steps you gave me OP: Thank you for the information. Kindly provide us with some pictures of the bullets. Additionally please try to recreate the issue and send us a video of the same. Sorry for troubling you with these steps. This is just an added precaution. We will investigate into the matter once we have the photos and videos and will help you with the resolution accordingly. Your patience is greatly appreciated in this matter. ME: (After sending some random photo with the bullets on it) About the video.. how do you want me to make a video, capturing me walking with the bullets in my ears and my phone in my back pocket? OP: Thank you for the pictures. What we suggest for the video is to try to capture the glitch in the bullets wile walking, keeping the phone close to the earbuds of the bullets. This is just mainly to capture the glitch wherever we can. We appreciate your understanding and patience in this matter. Thank you Could anyone tell me if is this a joke? or any advise how to complete this task? [link] [comments]
The battery life on the OP6T is just amazing! Posted: 26 Feb 2019 03:48 AM PST I recently upgraded from my beloved OPO which was still going strong running LineageOS but I needed something that could last more than half a day without charging, so I decided to gift myself with the OP6T and I can't believe how long this runs on a single charge. Thank you Oneplus Here is a screenshot [link] [comments]
Insane power drain by Google play services Posted: 26 Feb 2019 05:51 AM PST I have OP6 and recently i noticed unusual power drain, last couple of days my battery would be gone 2x faster than usual, even when idle. I went to check battery usage and i see Google play services going off the charts. I tried everything i could think of, rebooting, clearing cache/storage, turning off play protect etc and nothing seems to solve it. Does anyone know what's going on here? How do i stop this? It's insane my phone can barely last till evening now when usually i could go for 1,5 to 2 days no problem. Any advice is appreciated! [link] [comments]
Posted: 26 Feb 2019 01:36 PM PST Dear all, I'm a OP5 user, bought the phone the day it came out (and got it a week later in the mail) so I'd say from the beginning. According to my accubattery app, my battery health is currently at 86% amounting for approximately 2845mAh. My question is, how are you other OP5 users experiencing battery health? I'm curious to know how well I'm doing in preserving it. The phone still works very well so no need to upgrade to 7 (but of course I'd like to). Just wondering how much life there still is left. Thanks! [link] [comments]
Why can't the lock screen be more secure from theives? Posted: 26 Feb 2019 01:23 PM PST Like seriously if someone stole your phone, they could literally just hold the power button and press the button to shut it down. Why can't it just be more secure? All OP has to do is require a password to power off your device. That's it. The irony is that if you're on the lock screen you can't turn off location services without a password but you can shut your phone completely off? It seems like something trivial that they could fix because I don't want to have any issues if my phone were to get stolen. [link] [comments]
OnePlus 6T vs Note 9 Battery Life Posted: 26 Feb 2019 12:57 PM PST Who has owned both phones? Can anyone comment on the battery life comparison between the two? I find myself missing my Galaxy phones... but I'm not sure I can live without the battery life on my 6T. Anyone? [link] [comments]
Posted: 26 Feb 2019 09:05 AM PST Has anyone found a work around to the notifications being delayed when phone is locked and only being made visible when you unlock the phone? [link] [comments]
Posted: 26 Feb 2019 10:25 AM PST Whenever I take a picture in Gcam and then tap it in the bottom right-hand corner to view it, it always takes me to Google photos. Is there any way to make it take me to the default gallery app that comes with the phone. I am using the OnePlus 6t with the lastest version of Gcam Thank you [link] [comments]
Can you disable VolUp+Pwr shortcut on 6T? Posted: 26 Feb 2019 10:23 AM PST I'm using a 6T. So my case has the buttons flush and I occasionally press Volume Up and Power together which causes the phone to go into vibrate only. Is there any way to disable this shortcut? I have no idea why it's there when there's a slider for changing to vibrate only already. [link] [comments]
Can I charge an Asus Powerbank with the Dash Charger? Posted: 26 Feb 2019 10:15 AM PST Hi there! Recently I bought an Asus ZenPower Powerbank, because you don't know when you actually need extra juice. The problem is, this battery stores 10050 mA and a normal charger with the output of 1mA/hour would fill the powerbank in 10 hours. But if there is a way to charge it with my Oneplus 6's Dash Charger without frying it or any cables, I would speed up the process? [Sorry for the bad English btw] [link] [comments]
OnePlus 5t better camera than OnePlus 6? Posted: 26 Feb 2019 10:01 AM PST Hey, a friend of mine owns a 5t and we took the same picture to compare our cameras. His picture look more detailed, especially when zooming in. Pretty depressing...any idea if it's normal? [link] [comments]
Should i factory reset for better performance? Posted: 26 Feb 2019 06:01 AM PST Hello OnePlus users. I've OnePlus 5 and I'm on the latest OOS 9.0.3. My device stutters very much. I don't feel the speed i used to when i bought this device. Recently my cousin visited me and she also has OnePlus 5. When i used her phone for awhile, i didn't find any stuttering. It was snappier than my device. I checked the OOS version, also latest. I asked her if she's ever factory reset the device, she doesn't know what that is. Should i factory reset my device? I've never done it since i got it. Also her phone is white and mine is black. Am i facing some kinda racism? (It's a joke. Don't bash me) [link] [comments]
