I overlaid these images in Photoshop to show my point. The Galaxy S10 has about the same size screen under the cameras as the Galaxy S9 has under the status bar. The total uninterrupted area ends up being close to the same, though the S10 extends lower towards the chin as well: https://i.imgur.com/GlTRo7c.jpg
