Play Store Link. Casual City Building game. It's a premium game, with no ads, no IAPs, no long build timers. r/PocketCity if you'd like some help or want to see and/or download other people's cities.

I'm a fan of this game and premium games with no BS in general. That said, every time this game is mentioned there's going to be comments about how someone played it for awhile and got bored. Yeah, me too. I played it for a couple days, for hours in a row, made a couple cities in different difficulties, and then got bored with it. I still think the game is well worth what I spent on it.

Yes, your first city is going to be pretty easy. Game defaults to easy mode. If you want a harder experience, start a new city and pick Hard or Expert mode.

If you'd rather try it before buying it, there's a free version with ads, still no IAP. Free version is basically the full game, locked in easy difficulty on the smaller map.

As it's often asked, what's the difference? The paid version has no ads, multiple difficulty options when creating new city, larger map option when creating new city, a sandbox mode where everything is unlocked and you can optionally have infinite money, and additional city save slots. Yes, you can transfer your city from the free version to the paid version, but it's not automatic. Here's details on how to transfer your city.

Shout out to u/BobbyDev on making a fun game with no BS. Thank you!

More people should play Hades' Star!

    Posted: 27 Feb 2019 04:27 PM PST

I found this game on this subreddit over a year and a half ago and I just want to sing its praises because it's kept me playing longer than any other mobile game. At its core its a fairly slow paced space shipping simulator but it also has a huge asynchronous PVP mode (similar to Subterfuge and Neptunes Pride) along with team based PVE and a fairly new 5 minute battle royale. It definitely rewards patience and is not P2W in the slightest which is a breath of fresh air for a free mobile game.

The community is fairly small but super active (if you don't sign up for the official discord you are missing out!) and a steam version was released today too. I am not a developer, I just love this game and want other people to know. Check it out!

    [DEV] My First Game

    Posted: 27 Feb 2019 05:23 PM PST

Hello guys, this is my first game that I made, I released it in beta in Play Store, if any of you want to check it test it on your device and provide me with any kind of feedback even if you want your favorite color added, that would help me a lot, also anything you find wrong in my game because I only have like 4 month experience with unity (Time that took me to learn Unity and make this game).

    Thank you

Suggestions for text or point and click story based games?

    Posted: 27 Feb 2019 08:58 PM PST

They don't have to be free, but I'd rather they were one price with no in app purchases unless it's a DLC pack to add gameplay. Here are the types of games I like:

    1. Go here, search for this, to find out this person's story, eg Gone Home or What Never Was.

    2. Walking simulators.

    3. Hidden Object Games

    4. Choose your own adventure - not like Choices or Episodes.

Great if a game is free, but I don't mind paying, or even paying for DLC. I just want some good immersive "visual novel" type stuff.

Looking for easy games with a good, immersive story

    Posted: 27 Feb 2019 08:51 PM PST

Something like To The Moon I guess? Sorry, I can't really think of many examples. I've tried OPUS: Rocket of Whispers but it was too much searching for my taste. I haven't played it, but Florence seems to be like what I'm looking for.

Please recommend me some free, offline and non-grindy games

    Posted: 27 Feb 2019 05:08 AM PST

I have just finished main storyline of Galaxy on fire 2, the void thread. I was pleasantly surprised that the game doesn't require much grinding, everything is achievable by having some luck hunting pirates (finding those AB retractors costing 150 thousand credits was incredible treasure) or through other means (I found hunts the most profitable). Game was fairly easy (another boon as I don't like high difficulties).

I regret being unable to buy those other packs with more stories due to lack of credit card.

I have my eyes set on Darkness rises by Nexon, Dungeon hunter 5 (since I cant find 4 on playstore anymore) and Iron blade by Gameloft but I'm not sure if my phone (Ulefone tiger) will be able to handle them without lagging at good graphics. Dawn break Origin was playable at lowest graphics but it got grindy and gacha system when buying equipment didn't help.

Genre of game doesn't matter much (I liked Swordigo as much as I did Data wing), I could play almost anything (dating sims and text based games are exception) but I prefer action

Tl;dr : free, offline, non-grindy games that aren't dating sims or text based games

Is there a "ScummVM" for Infocom Games?

    Posted: 27 Feb 2019 06:47 PM PST

Yeah, I know about "Frotz" and I love it!

But it only does the text titles, not the later ones that have graphics as well:

"Zork Zero", "Arthur", etc. Any help, please? Thank you! 😀👍🏻
