[REQUEST] Good games that are not on Google Play Store?

    Posted: 01 Jan 2019 07:57 AM PST

Just yesterday I found out about the game Fortunes of War which is available only on the Amazon Appstore for some reason. It's basically Dominion with different cards and some sort of a single player campaign so it's a good addition to Androminion (Dominion clone that is available on the author's github).

So I wonder if there are any other good games whose author chose to not put them on the Google Play Store (I know about Fortnite, but don't want that).

Free or paid doesn't matter, just give me anything you know of.

[REQUEST] Online multiplayer game w/ coop to play with brother and without P2W

    Posted: 01 Jan 2019 06:54 PM PST

Looking for a game, any genre is ok, ideally skillbased or strategy based, that can be played cooperatively with and against my brother. PvP/competitive elements are a bonus. Teamwork with my bro against other teams are bonus too.

Ideally with the least amount of P2W or IAP possible. Cosmetics OK.

LF ARPG, MMO or RPG that is fun and PvE oriented.

    Posted: 01 Jan 2019 04:03 PM PST

I like MapleStory M, Lineage 2 Revolution, but it's basically Autoolay only and P2W. I'm not entirely against autoplay but would like to actually play and grind and build a character. I'd PREFER a B2P or even a small monthly sub. I hate hate hate these games that have an "energy" and I can only do so much in a certain time period because I'm "out of energy" and I have to open the wallet for more. So, please, no "energy" type mechanics.

[REQUEST] Looking for game recommendations to play on a long flight

    Posted: 01 Jan 2019 08:06 AM PST

Got a thirteen hour flight tomorrow and looking to kill a few hours.

So I'm looking for something that could keep me hooked for a few hours, rather than something very casual.

I don't mind if it's free or paid, as long as it isn't totally microtransactions-ridden. I'm also open to any genres. And it has to be an offline game, obviously.

So if any of you has a game in mind that they could easily play for hours in one sitting, let me know. Thanks!

Is there an android emulator for...... Android?

    Posted: 01 Jan 2019 05:29 PM PST

Yeah I'm dumb for asking that but I'm just wondering if there's a mad lad who's willing to do it. My friend got a tablet that can dual boot Windows 8 and Android Kitkat. We installed Bliestacks on Windows 8 as a joke. I wonder if there's an android emulator for android.

Pixel Soldiers: The Great War. Great turn-based, historic, strategic, war game

    Posted: 01 Jan 2019 12:41 PM PST

If you're into turn-based strategy games, this one is worth a look. It focuses entirely on battle, there is no resources collection/management. There are a good variety of units with a variety of capabilities. If units take enough damage they become disorganized and/or run away. Disorganized units combat effectiveness is significantly reduced, but can be restored with if the unit is undisturbed for one turn; you generally have to place them some place for this to happen. Each battle has a unique map which is fairly big and has varied terrain, and terrain effects (e.g., city and forest squares improve defense but cost more movement). Units left undisturbed on open/plain squares for a turn will 'dig-in', improving defense. Each battle starts with a brief explanation of where it fits with the WWI. Battles have different victory objectives, so it's not just wipe out the enemy. You can play either side and set difficulty level, which improves replay-ability.

{REQUEST} Management game where tine passes in real time.

    Posted: 01 Jan 2019 02:19 AM PST

I imagine something like Ports of call but the ships take real time to reach destination.

Or a trucking sim where trucks take real time to drive cross the country.

Something that only very occasionally needs my attention and then kinda works in the background on its own.

But please don't recommend any of those games where they just have you wait for no reason at all just to make you buy boosts and stuff. I'm looking for a game where waiting actually makes sense.
