Posted: 31 Dec 2018 08:29 PM PST Hi all, Recently bought a 70Mai dash cam for my partner after having one for myself which is perfect. However, her car is a bit noise and it appears that it is constantly starting and stopping recording just from hearing the combination of the radio and the road. Is there anyway to disable voice input? [link] [comments]
Mi A1, Where is LDAC support for Bluetooth? This is default feature for Android 8 and above. Posted: 31 Dec 2018 04:29 PM PST Why isn't it here? It's built into Android directly for Oreo and above. Can confirm Pixel 1, Pixel 2 and Note 9 have it, as expected. This is an Android One phone as well, even more reason to expect it. In fact even aptX is not available. ??? [link] [comments]

About to switch from iPhone 6 to Mi 8. How can I transfer my data to a non-ios device? Posted: 31 Dec 2018 12:08 PM PST I'm not sure if this is the right subreddit for this, but figured I'd still try. Gonna buy mi 8 soon, is there any easy way to transfer my data (photos, contacts, calendar events etc) from iphone to android device without doing it manually? Also i'm not sure if this is important but I will sell my iphone 6 before buying mi 8, so I obviously won't have it around when i grab my hands on brand new mi 8. [link] [comments]
Posted: 31 Dec 2018 11:59 AM PST Hey there. Last year got my GF a Mi Band 2 because she likes exercising and found that the pedometer is not very accurate, in fact, it sucks. I want to get into running and the MiB3 looks nice but wonder if it's pedometer sucks as bad as the previous version. Thanks. [link] [comments]

Please help between S5 and S50 Posted: 31 Dec 2018 09:04 AM PST Hello, Looking for buy Roborock vacuum/mopper, but fail to understand the difference between S5 and S50 or S55. All seem to be identical but S50 or S55 are almost $200 less than S5. [link] [comments]
Are all Redmi Note 4x screens the same? Posted: 31 Dec 2018 01:48 PM PST I bought a new LCD screen and, for whatever reason, there is no display. I connected all parts properly, however, I don't see anything on the screen. Do I specifically need the snapdragon version or what? [link] [comments]
I installed a custom ROM on my Redmi Note 4. Now I wonder what's wrong with MIUI to be that worse. Posted: 31 Dec 2018 02:34 AM PST I've installed an AOSP based ROM to my Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Snapdragon. I didn't expect it to be much better but oh boy. It now flies, I get no hiccups which I used to get when I was on MIUI. And I installed the Google Camera which by the way couldn't install on MIUI and I seriously ask myself what's wrong with Xiaomi. The camera was mediocre at best and now it's awesome. Seriously, if you are considering if it's worth installing a custom ROM on your Xiaomi, it certainly is. [link] [comments]

mi mix 2s price justified when comparing with mi8? Posted: 31 Dec 2018 09:42 AM PST I was looking for a new phone with NFC 128 gb storage) and as the mix 3 is quite expensive the mix 2s seems to be a good alternative (I don't like the mi8 notch). The best mix 2s price for the 64gb version is around $370. In comparison the best price for the mi 8's 128GB version is $390. Do you guys think price will go down in Jan/Feb or should I just go for it? [link] [comments]
Xiaomi Mi Box S (Mi BOX 4) (EU) - Ethernet issue Posted: 31 Dec 2018 09:28 AM PST Hey guys. Everything is fine with this box except the Wi-Fi connection which is quite slow to stream 4K content. So i decided that i'll buy an USB Ethernet HUB and try the Ethernet connection, but i have two issues. 1.) I activated the developer mode and also changed the USB connection to Ethernet mode, but there still is not any Ethernet option under Networks, only the Wi-Fi. Also, if i reboot the Box, and go to Developer --- USB mode settings --- The USB connection is again set to USB mode, not the Ethernet mode i changed it to, so it seems, that there is some Android 8 bug, that prevents the mode changing? 2.) I bought an USB Ethernet HUB with Realtek 8153 Chipset which simply does not work in a way, that after connecting it to the Box, there still is not any Ethernet option. It might be that this chipset is unsupported? I've read that ASIX AS88179 chipset works on the Xiaomi TV boxes, so i might try it. But my main question is: Do someone has this Box with the latest Android 8 update, and the Ethernet is working flawlessly? [link] [comments] |
