| Posted: 30 Sep 2018 06:51 PM PDT So a while ago a client dropped off a laptop, with the request that I "install the internet" on it. I touch base before touching the thing, asking if he prefer chrome, Firefox, or just an update to explorer. "I don't care which internet; just do the best one." Was his response. I go to turn on the computer, nothing happens. Call the guy back, let him know there's been a "setback" that will require some diagnostics beforehand. He finds that's a good time to tell me the laptop took a swim in his pool. "The internet is all we used it for, I kind of assumed that's all we needed for it to work again."
