| Bought a used Vega 64, not working after installing drivers. Posted: 29 Oct 2018 01:00 AM PDT I decided it was time to upgrade, so I traded my PS4 Pro for a Vega 64 and the guy seemed like an upstanding guy. Met him in person and everything. Told me it was mines on underclocked and under volted for a while, which is fine in my opinion because my RX580 I bought used and that was mined heavily on and was an outstanding card. I use DDU to uninstall all old drivers, I then plug in the V64, it boots in a low resolution (safe mode i believe) and I download the drivers. I let it install and restart. Upon restart I can last maybe 10 seconds before my PC shuts down and goes into a cycle of turning on and off my monitor, but each time with no power. The fans and led's work fine and card doesn't appear to be abused. The two 8 pin connectors are connected. I've tested my RX580 and it works fine. I've cleared my CMOS and done just about everything I can think of, Specs: Ryzen 1700 16 GB 3200Mhz Asus Crosshair Hero VI MOBO Powercolor Vega 64 Blower Style 750 Watt PSU [link] [comments]  |

My laptop suddenly does not output any sound, It's not on mute and the system sound is turned up. Windows says the driver is updated and rebooting does not help. | Hard drive not being recognized by computer. Posted: 28 Oct 2018 03:30 PM PDT I have a hard drive that randomly stopped working a while ago, and am completely fresh out of ideas for how to fix it. I'm trying not to erase the data on it, but it's not the end of the world if I lose it. It shows up in the Device Manager, but doesn't display any of the volume information and says that the device wasn't migrated. I also checked in the Disk Manager, and it said that the disk needed to be initialized. I tried to use a master boot record partition, but it gave me a "Data error (cyclic redundancy check)." I have tried several programs to recover the data or partitions (like Recuva, HDDScan) and they failed to find anything on the disk.
