Ram used by apps and processes Posted: 28 Sep 2018 04:18 AM PDT looking for an app that shows how much RAM each app and processes take like task manager on windows. I have it in settings in older device but my New Lenovo Z5 doesn't have it in settings. [link] [comments] |
Live wallpaper displaying current cryptocurrency values Posted: 28 Sep 2018 04:51 AM PDT I know there are alot of smart people (and not so smart) on reddit who would be able to create or at least point me in the right direction. Just like the title says, I'm looking for a way for my unlock screen to display the current values of certain cryptocurrencies. Is there an app or something out there that does this??? How to use Bouncer, does it work without further settings? Posted: 28 Sep 2018 08:06 AM PDT So after installing, when moving an app to the background it blocks the permissions instantly? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.samruston.permission [link] [comments] |
Lately Newpipe is not playing Background Audio ? Posted: 28 Sep 2018 05:12 AM PDT It displays "unable to play this stream", previously it can play Background Audio of all the videos but now it frequently shows this error message :( [link] [comments] |
I got ₹20 (about $0.28) for an app, any suggestions? Posted: 28 Sep 2018 11:08 AM PDT Just suggest any useful app you happen to know that's under that amount, if there's any at all. Thanks! [link] [comments] |
*Very* customizable music player app OR something designed for old people. Posted: 27 Sep 2018 08:04 PM PDT Trying to set up music playing for my very technologically challenged mum on her phone. The ideal music player app would have a list of albums/folder, tapping one would immediately start playing and show next, previous, pause/stop buttons. That's it. Most importantly it should keep everything in one view. Different 'views' like 'now playing' , 'playlist' are not required. Might add confusion. Paid apps are welcome. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 28 Sep 2018 08:48 AM PDT Im looking for an app that would almost be like tinder for photo and video sorting. Problem: I have tons of photos and I need to check each photo to decide if its worth keeping and if it is then I need to move it to its proper folder. The problem is that an app like es file exporer requires that you- click each photo to open it So its a very long borning process that need to be sped up. [link] [comments] |
Looking for tips to switch from iOS to android Posted: 27 Sep 2018 06:20 PM PDT Hi eeeryone - longtime iphone user [and hater] here, my iPhone is 5 years old and dying on me. I have been looking at android really closely and trying to work out if I would be able to do the things I do on iPhone on a galaxy note or edge. Can any of you fine folks give any tips / apps you would use on android to do these things?:

Is there a way to restore apps+app data from a TWRP backup? Titanium backup doesn't work anymore Posted: 28 Sep 2018 12:38 AM PDT I backed my whole ROM up before upgrading to oreo. I usually just use titanium backup after the upgrade to restore the apps+app data, this time it didn't work. I've got root and everything, I think it's just because TB was last updated in 2017 and is kind of abandoned. Does anyone know of any app that I can use to extract apps and their data from the twrp backup? Thanks! [link] [comments] |
Browser which explicitly does not have/allow multitabbing? Posted: 28 Sep 2018 01:53 AM PDT I am looking for an android web browser which is essentially an enforced one-window/one-tab browser. Even Opera Mini lets you open tabs :-( I don't mind if it's a resource saver at the same time, either. Do you know any such (admittedly, probably niche) browser? [link] [comments] |

Posted: 28 Sep 2018 03:28 AM PDT I do a lot of offroading and trekking, mostly in places with no GSM signal even. Anyone know of a good GPS app that connects offline? I used to have MotionX on my iphone, so i need something similar on my android. TIA [link] [comments] |
App that will fit a picture to sizes other than square? Posted: 27 Sep 2018 06:33 PM PDT I'm looking for an app that will allow me to fit a picture to something other than a square. There's a lot of apps that will fit to a square with either colored borders or blur. Most of them seem to be targeting Instagram from before Instagram allowed anything other than square. But there are other social networks and they all have their own content sizes (and even Instagram allows more than just squares now). For cropping pictures I found Adobe Spark Post which has a lot of useful size presets but I'm looking for something that will fit instead of crop a picture. Is there anything that would work? Basically, I'm looking for something like Square InPic but with ratios other than square. [link] [comments] |
[HELP!] Amplify not working 100% on Android nougat Posted: 28 Sep 2018 12:50 AM PDT I have amplify premium, and it doesn't show all the wakelocks / alarms/ services at all times. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. I tried making it to a system app to no avail, and I do not know how else to fix this. Can anyone help? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 27 Sep 2018 01:16 PM PDT From my point of view i can't trust external gmail apps apart from gmail. Or any other browsers that are not the popular ones( opera, chrome, firefox). I dont know if its placebo or just "original apps". [link] [comments] |
Posted: 27 Sep 2018 07:30 PM PDT The only reason in sticking with the official app right now is because the ones I tried doesn't allow me to just swipe right or left to see the next post. I've tried sync and boost so far and they're good but they still don't have that feature. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 27 Sep 2018 06:10 PM PDT Signal on Google play isn't compatible with my Chromebook. Their website only has ways to download versions of it for Windows or Mac OS. Any ideas how to get it on my Chromebook? [link] [comments] |
Relatively secure messaging & video chat app that works for Android, Windows PC, and iPhone? Posted: 27 Sep 2018 04:22 PM PDT Looking to move away from from Facebook and all of its branches to something more private/secure and not connected with social media. If it looks sleek, has video capabilities that's great. If it has disappearing photos too then it's exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks for any recommendations, sorry if this isn't the best subreddit! Didn't have much luck through Google or Reddit search. [link] [comments] |
