[DEV] EasyJoin "Go" - Share files via WiFi Posted: 12 Sep 2018 04:33 AM PDT Do you only want to share files between devices? Do you need a simple and reliable application? Then this version is the perfect one for you!
There is a "Go" version for Android and Windows.
Differences between Android versions "Go" and "Essential"/"Pro".
And similarly with the other versions, you don't have to login to an external server, you don't need an Internet connection, you are not tracked.
If you need more functionalities try the "Essential" and "Pro" versions. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 12 Sep 2018 10:56 AM PDT I am on Verizon and looking for a good visual voicemail app. I see here that people recommend Google voice, but I thought you had to port over your number to Google and drop your carrier to use Google voice. Can someone recommend a good option in regards to a visual voicemail app or let me know how to use Google voice without me going away from Verizon? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 12 Sep 2018 10:55 AM PDT This month's suvery focused on playlists. Here's the feedback I left: When I "shazam" a song, it doesn't mean I like it. I might just want to know who sings this annoying song...or maybe I'm IDing it for someone else, like a friend. So a playlist based on my Shazams could be a mixed bag. I know ya'll are trying to increase user engagement, but I don't think playlists are the answer - there are so many of them between iTunes, Spotify, Pandora, Apple Music, etc. I think Shazamming other types of content/objects (movies, shows, cars, clothing, images, smells even...) is where you stand to most gain. Posted: 12 Sep 2018 10:38 AM PDT The default Android Message app has been active for 0min. It has been open for 4min in the background. But somehow it has managed to consume 1350mAh... I browsed Reddit for 4.5 hours and it only consumed 140mAh. [link] [comments] |

Generic question about launchers Posted: 12 Sep 2018 09:05 AM PDT I'm currently running Nova launcher. If I'd like to try say 'launcher x' (I shall backup Nova settings), shall I be ok returning back to my current launcher after the trial just by restoring Nova settings? [link] [comments] |

Posted: 12 Sep 2018 08:44 AM PDT Hello Reddit Community, I've always been excited to share my new development projects with the awesome group here on Reddit... so I'm back today to share with you my latest project - QuickTags! QuickTags is an app that I started developing a couple of months ago at the request of a friend who wanted a quick and easy way to copy hash tags for her Instagram posts. It has some neat add-ons like the ability to sort groups, and to export/import groups so you can bring your hash tags with you to another device.
Features:
Made with ❤ from Toronto, Canada PROMO! To celebrate my second child, I created another 50 promo codes just for the Reddit community, leave a message here and I will private message you tomorrow with a promo code to get the pro version of the app for free. As always, feel free to forward any comments, suggestions or feedback my way! Chances are, they will make their way into the app at some point ;) Yours, Joseph [link] [comments] |

ID3 MP3 Music Tag Editor Issue Posted: 12 Sep 2018 08:05 AM PDT I just got a Galaxy S9 yesterday and have installed a few basic apps (Netflix, Hulu, etc.). This app has been popping random ads up in the middle of other apps and I can't seem to find the way to uninstall or turn this app off. It is not shown in any of my phone's files. Any possible causes or solutions? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 12 Sep 2018 12:45 AM PDT I have Zooper Pro, and for the past few months it had listed my weather as 75 and sunny, and when I tried to fiddle with it it's now ?? and UNKNOWN. Apparently he stopped updating the app so it just doesn't work anymore. What custom widgets are you using? I like just a simple time and weather, example in comments. [link] [comments] |

Searching a specific android game Posted: 12 Sep 2018 11:10 AM PDT Hi there, i'm seaching a specific game wich i played some time ago, but cannot remember it's name. I've searched the playstore with all possible terms, but didn't found it so far. It's kind of an idle rpg, somewhat similar to Logging Quest. But with the difference that you can watch your choosen party of adventurers while they are clearing dungeons room by room and you can also give some commands, like tell them to avoid monsters or to stop exploring and come back to town, etc. It's a hard game and the graphics are rather simple, but the game has a lot of depth. Anyone a clue? [link] [comments] |
Poweramp has 2 album entries for the album with same name Posted: 12 Sep 2018 11:03 AM PDT https://i.imgur.com/Pg2PFGY.jpg Both of them have the same name 'Naruto Shippuden OST' but they're split into two albums. How can I fix this? [link] [comments] |
[REQUEST] Can these 7 iPhone (Jailbroken) Tweaks technically work/exist on Android? Posted: 11 Sep 2018 04:11 PM PDT Long story short, I'm curious about jumping from a jailbroken iPhone to a non-rooted Android device. I've been doing some research on what tweaks can be applied to a non-rooted Android device, and I've been successful in finding a lot of them working on a non-rooted Android device, such as a location faker, downloading videos from the browser (and podcasts), adding the day, month and seconds to the status bar, and the ability to add weather effects happening around me to the wallpaper. But here are some tweaks that I'm not sure can be applied to Android... LockHTML4: A tweak that can use an HTML file to customize the lock screen. https://1drv.ms/u/s!AhfO4xsVasAFlCOobtWlhx_6Isum This glorious HTML file is what I want to use to be overlayed over the Lockscreen in Android. Can it be done? (The little space underneath the time is where I would like some additional weather information displayed from a different tweak I have. I wonder if there's a weather app that I can move its icons and info to the spot) Activator: There are a lot of functions associated with this, such as automatically setting Do not Disturb on certain time intervals, turn off Do Not Disturb every 30 minutes outside of the timer intervals, playing sounds/sound effects when my battery is at 1%, 3%, 5%, and 100%, holding UP volume to automatically play the next track, holding DOWN volume to automatically play the previous track, and automatically setting the volume and ringer to a high state in the morning before alarms go off. Is there a non-rooted version for this? Is it all-encompassing or will several smaller apps do? Callbar: When someone calls, it doesn't take up the entire screen so I can keep reading/playing as they call, and there is a tab to answer/decline calls. I've seen a friend with this ability on their S9, but I wonder if it's in the settings or through an app? Cameratweak: I've seen some android apps that can adjust the iso, shutter speed, and focus manually, and others that can change the resolution when recording the video as well as adjust FPS, but I wonder if there's an app to encompass all of it? NoGoogleAMP: Automatically redirects to the actual website rather than the AMP site, which is very handy especially when googling reddit posts. Can an app accomplish this? Snapper2: We can crop the screen of what we want to save and let it hover over everything else on the screen. I've heard of an old APK that could do this, but I wonder if it can work on the newest versions of Android? Or any other apps that can accomplish this? WiiLoveMusic: Not truly necessary, but it plays music like the Wii Shop channel over the app store :P it will be missed if no alternative is there. I have dozens of more tweaks installed, but these few are the ones I deem my favorite ones that I would like to see on an non-rooted Android. Why non-rooted? I'd like just avoid the jailbroken detection/rooted detection that a lot of apps are implementing and not waiting for someone to implement a bypass and then having the app update and then having this wild goose chase again. Thanks for your help! :) [link] [comments] |
We made a personal assistant for housemates called Cluttr. Available on Android. Posted: 12 Sep 2018 10:20 AM PDT Cluttr was born from Reddit from the AppIdeas subreddit. We noticed that HomeSlice, a popular app during the early half of this decade, had closed shop after obtaining 80000 users. There was almost a funeral for HomeSlice on here. We were inspired to carry on the baton. Along with the fact we were in shared housing and struggling to manage anything successfully we took it upon ourselves to solve this issue for the rest of you hard working folk. We love feedback and want to eventually make our own subreddit for anyone who is inspired by our vision to unify housemates and encourage collaboration. [link] [comments] |
Need an app that can disable right / left audio channel Posted: 12 Sep 2018 01:17 AM PDT I need an app that can disable right / left audio channel when using headphones. It would be nice if you could control it from the notification bar. [link] [comments] |
Buttons on stock Youtube app doesn't disappear. Posted: 12 Sep 2018 09:47 AM PDT Hey there, title is self explanatory. I'm leaving a few screenshots here: https://i.hizliresim.com/pnJkDz.jpg https://i.hizliresim.com/aYrpAd.jpg Problem is on both vertical view and fullscreen. Buttons only disappear if I hit the X, seen on screen. Occasionally that X button doesn't appear, and there is no way to watch video properly. I did clear data, cache and uninstalled updates, still have this. Any solutions? [link] [comments] |

VPN with auto launch for wifi networks? Posted: 12 Sep 2018 07:12 AM PDT I see NordVPN might have it, but is there another VPN app that I can set certain networks to have my VPN app connect? I've started using a VPN app for work, but would prefer if there was something that could just autolaunch and connect based on a saved network. [link] [comments] |
Any other launchers with this feature? Posted: 12 Sep 2018 07:02 AM PDT I currently use Nova and love it, but I like to try new things, and I've been using Nova for years and years. So I'm looking for something new to try. I extensively use the swipe features on the home screen icons. Some swipes open a second app, some open folders, most open shortcuts - to dynamic folders via glextor, Tasker tasks, etc. I also have 3 dock pages, so while not necessarily a deal breaker, is really like it. Any launchers out there for me to try? [link] [comments] |

Posted: 12 Sep 2018 05:55 AM PDT Any recommendations for a video capture app that provides more control than the stock camera app? Now, I can only set recording quality and adjust white balance. I'd like to have manual focus and aperture, if possible. Free would be ideal as well. Thanks! [link] [comments] |
