    Question regarding Note 9 and Snapchat

    So I've heard Android is infamous with Snapchat and how the app use a screen grab instead of the actual camera. But I also read that some Android phones like the Pixel 2 actually use the camera instead of screen grab to take quality pictures. My question is does Note 9 use screen grab or does it use the actual camera for Snapchat?
    Also while on the subject do you feel Snapchat is laggy on the Note 9 or does it run smoothly?

    S8 still worth buying it?

    Hey I may buy me a new phone on december. I currently have a A3 2017 for a year and a half+. I fell in love with the S8 since it came out, but is it still worth buying? In France I can have it for around 400€. Thanks !

    I'm underwhelmed by the new Galaxy watch. What can it actually do?

    I just got my watch a day or so ago (42mm rose gold) as an upgrade from a pro gear 2. But, having it on its just not as exciting as the hype made it out to be.

    What can this watch actually do, or what apps (there seems to be so few within Samsungs store) will make this watch actually be worth keeping? Otherwise, It's a beautiful watch, a bit heavy though.

    When does bestbuy usually do deals on unlocked devices?

    So so far I've seen them do multiple deals with carrier locked devices as long as you use the carriers payment plan.

    However, Id prefer to not get locked into a 24 month agreement with AT&T. So I would much rather take advantage of 24 months 0% APR with my Best Buy credit card.

    But so far the only deal I've seen for the unlocked device is a in-store only 50 dollar gift card on "new activations". Which I assume means they want you to open a new line?

    But yeah, does bestbuy ever do stuff like the $150 dollar giftcard and charging stand promo for unlocked phones?

    I'm coming from an S7. This phone is a seriously amazing! Everything feels super snappy and the screen is in a word, beautiful. Other than the price tag, this is an amazing phone!

    Pro mode in s7 edge's camera not working properly

    There's no option to increase the iso to more than 800. And, if the iso is on auto and i change the shutter speed then the iso sets on 500 and i can't set it on auto unless shutter speed is set to auto. Am i dumb and there's a solution to this or do i have to look for a 3rd part app?

    Why I don't use always on display: If keyboard got burned into the screen, I'm pretty sure Always on display would burn in even quicker and harder..

    When I cast my Dell XPS laptop screen I always get pixelated video on my TV. I recently got this laptop and never had this issue with my older Lenovo. Can someone tell me what I should look into fixing this? My Dell video drivers, TV firmware, my router?

    Samsung DeX Random Video Restart

    I use DeX on multiple devices S8, S9+ and Note9. Not always but often enough for it to be annoying the videos restart.

    Has anyone experienced anything like this before and if so do you know how to fix it?

    Does the Note 9 support full device encryption?

    Is it just me or is the edges of the S9/Note9 sharper than the S8?

    When I feel the edge of the S8, the edge feels very seamless, but on the S9/Note9, it feels as if the metal frame around the phone is sticking out a little and it doesn't feel seamless. Is this a defect, or is it intentional? And to other people that noticed this, does it bother you at all?

    Hey I just got my note 9 Friday and it's my first time with a type c USB. I'm aware that a lot of chargers and cables on Amazon are really dangerous to use. What are you guys using? Also from what I've seen there isn't any car chargers that do quick charge over type c?

    [Help] Cannot adjust volume on any app.

    Hello everybody. I just ran into an issue suddenly where my samsung remote will not allow me to control adjust the volume when using what appears to be any application. I have tested this on Youtube, netflix and HBO GO. However, if i'm outside any of the above mentioned application my volume button appears to be working fine.

    I'm hoping some of you outstanding redditors can help me out. I'm not sure of this is a firmware issue, as I haven't received any update notifications. Nor can I seem to find any evidence any recent evidence of this happening.

    Can I connect a Surface pen to a Samsung Galaxy Note 9?

    I've tried and it connected via Bluetooth but it doesn't register input. If there's a trick I can use to get it to work I'll be extremely appreciative to know what I can do. And if not I'll be appreciative to know that I can't so I can stop trying to get it to work. Cheers.

    Harmony hub not working with TV

    I have a UN50HU6950 model tv and just got a harmony hub to run everything with 1 remote. Works great on the firestick and with the PS4 but is constantly forgetting the programming for the TV. I'm thinking it has to do with the IR dongles although they are both connected and within a foot of each other. Any help would be greatly appreciated if anyone has experience with connecting a harmony hub to a Samsung tv.

    If I Remove The Qi Charger Module From Within The Phone, Am i still able to charge normally via USB?

    Hi, As The Title States, i was wondering whether removing the QI Charger NFC Module from within the phonw, would prevent the phone from charging via USB. The reason, is that i took apart my S7 Edge and now the qi charger, isnt fitted intact with the other modular pieces inside the phonw, hence the back panel does not fit securely meaning that when a case is in the phone pressing the power and vol buttons is a pain in the ass.
