    Note 9 vs Galaxy S9 Plus

    Forgive me if this is frequently asked.. didn't see anything on the front page.

    Between the Note 9 and the S9 Plus, which should I get? I don't see any technology differences at all beyond the S-Pen, which to be honest I will never use. Both are attractive phones and I am ultimately getting one of the two, to ditch my iPhone.

    I text, check my emails, and would run an emulator like Retroarch for some games. Pretty basic user.

    Any advice either way is appreciated.

    Can anyone tell me if my battery usage is ok? I feel that my battery is draining more than usual and i dont know which apps to sleep

    Just got my new Sprint s9 yesterday, and almost everything is great, but my mobile data is SO intermittent! My previous phone was an HTC one M9, and it has 0 problems with sprints networks at the same locations. But since I got the samsung, I have to airplane mode every 10 mins to get my mobile data connection to work again. Even when the icon still says I'm connected to lte network with 4+ bars nothing is happening. I went to settings and switched from auto to cdma/lte as preferred, updated all apps, system firmware, profile, and prl with no joy. Speedtest.net app tests are also intermittent, sometimes testing at 12mbps, sometimes 1.5mbps, with little to no upload throughout during the test. Does anyone have any ideas what I could do to alleviate this issue?

    Screen protector (film) on Note8 has air bubbles in corners that won't go away, seems like the protector is lifting. Suggestions to get rid of them?

    I have a film screen protector mixed with the Otterbox Defender, and even on a perfect install three of the four corners have air bubbles that when I push down on them, they go away but come right back.

    I don't believe it's the case, as before I had it on with the same brand screen protector it kind of lifted at the edges. Any suggestions on how to get rid of them?

    Good Lock's Edge Touch reverts back to default

    Hi all, i've got a problem with Edge Touch: it reverts back to the default settings after some time, and i have to open it and reapply the profile in order to make my settings take effect.

    This is really annoying, is this behavior to be expected? Is there a fix?

    Why does the Galaxy Tab S4 only come with 4GB of RAM?

    Hell, I recently ordered the 512GB Note 9, and that has double the RAM of the tablet. My current tablet, the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 S-Pen (2016) has 3GB, and that's a two year old mid-range tablet. Why doesn't the brand new flagship tablet come with like 6GB of RAM or something?

    No Galaxy Care for Note 9? And how can I preserve battery for this phone?

    Hello r/samsung community! I've been a loyal Samsung user since Galaxy Mini and yesterday I finally bought the Galaxy Note 9.

    The first thing I did is I tried to register for "Galaxy Care" and I was prompted with "Insurance is not available for this device" and if you go to "Learn more" and look for devices that are supported - Only Note 9 is missing from the list. Why is that?

    Also... I've been using S7 Edge for two years until yesterday and I'm pretty sure I ruined its battery, because it drains from 100% to 30% in about three hours. I am scared that this will happen to my Note 9 in the long run.. For now I stopped leaving the charger plugged in after it's fully charged and I will try not to charge my phone in my car. But what are other things that I could do or watch out for to keep my battery lasting longer?

    (My Note 9 drained from 100% to ~30% in about 12-13 hours)

    Samsung Galaxy Note 3 battery % problem

    Hello guys,

    I've just bought Samsung Galaxy Note 3 SM-N9005 and I had issue with battery (it was discharging pretty fast - while using it would drain completely in about 3hours).

    I bought new original Samsung battery and it is clearly much better (in testing watching youtube it lasted almost 7hours).

    However I have a problem. Battery drains slowly at first (100% to 80% is about 2 hours of watching YT) but then (especially under 50%~) battery % going down faster than in higher levels,

    if I am using phone, battery drains from 20% to 1% in around 15minutes.

    Then battery is at 1% about 70minutes of using phone... so battery level is clearly much higher but it says 1% for some reason.

    Can anybody help me and tell me how can I recalibrate battery? I never did it before but I heard there is programs which helps you do it.

    Help : S9 disconnecting Home Wifi

    Hi there , every time I connect my S9 to the home wifi everything else that is connected disconnects , then the wifi goes down until I remove the S9 from wifi. Internet provider keeps telling me there is nothing wrong with the service and it must he an issue with my phone . Has anyone else encountered this and has a solution? The connection is fine for my housemates 2 iPhones, iPad, PS4 and Xbox.

    How to change default notes to SNote? (Note 9).

    I just upgraded from my wonderful Note 5 (memory constraints) to the new Note 9. I'm glad you can still take a quick note by pulling out the pen, but it doesn't go to SNote by default. I hate, hate, hate Samsung Notes. The app is far less useful and doesn't have nearly as many features. How do I make SNote my default?

    How do you deal with the carrier lock and bloatware?

    Hi Samsung users, I am a daily iPhone user and for the past couple of years also use a Pixel XL and then Pixel 2 XL. Seeing Note 9 have a lot of deals going on and a big screen and stereo speakers, not to mention not that much improvements in Pixel 3, I am thinking maybe Note 9 will replace the Pixel in my lineup.

    The thing is, I don't know which carrier model or unlocked to get and what to do with all the bloats. Unlocked iPhone and Pixel are universally unlocked and will run on all 4 carriers and all MVNO which is important as the savings can be hundreds a year. I also travel a month out of the year and knowing I got as much LTE bands just feels safer.

    And then there is the Samsung and carrier bloats. I hate the idea of a bunch of poorly written apps on my phone that cannot be removed and installing more apps/luncher just doesn't sound appealing. I just want the stock Samsung experience if that makes any sense.

    Assuming I have premium, enough storage space and everything needed, will it let me download songs to listen to them while offline? So I can listen to music while running without having to have my phone with me (that's the main reason to get it for me)
