Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 has just arrived.

I have the SD version and and on Global Stable 9.5.8.0. Since 9.5.4.0 I've had location provider issues. For instance, on maps it will not pick up my location, not even the approximate location if I'm on battery savings mode. If I'm on full High accuracy mode it may pick it up. Other apps like Ingress (Niantic location based game) is even worse. With a direct satellite view using "Device only" mode i have no problem - so I know the hardware is not the issue. It was fine on 9.5.2.0. On the MIUI forum where I created the bug they asked me to turn location off, restart the phone, open maps and let it ask me to turn High Accuracy on, then after I get the blue dot, exit out and start other apps like Ingress. Maps got the location, Ingress didn't. Later in the day after using the phone for a bit, even maps can't get the location in High Accuracy mode unless I have a clear satellite view. I've turned on location history and it will track my location from home to work but never update that I stopped driving and am now walking somewhere. It keeps on showing me as forever driving in the same spot.

I've factory reset while I was on 9.5.4.0. I've cleared app caches and data on Maps, Ingress, Google Plays store, Google Play services etc. etc.. Nothing helps. I believe this is a software bug, possibly something in the kernel gone wrong.

Does anyone else have this issue?

[HELP]Syncing files from PC to MiMix 2 Global

I made the move from a long-time iOS consumer to Android and my MiMix2 Global arrived earlier today. As much as I love the hardware, I'm a complete beginner when it comes to Android and am still trying to learn.

My biggest question right now is: how do I sync my music/images from my PC to my phone? I'm used to opening up iTunes and managing my music there, so is there a way to also add my files the same way?

I've tried using software like Windows Media Player, MusicBee, and DoubleTwist. Each program was able to detect the phone, but always had troubles syncing files onto it. Thank you!

Flashed phone a million times still can access it....

Hey guys when I bought my mi 5s four months ago I did a throwaway mi account because I didn't thought I would ever use that stuff.... now after I got to like this phone i tried to unlock the bootloader and install custom roms for fun while having no idea what I am doing.....I ended up locked outside the phone because I don't have the mi account password or the random email I used for that and I can't make it work. No matter how many times I flashed the phone with miflash it still doesn't work...... What are my options? I was clueless..... Now I am getting stuff together about how the whole thing works but I still don't know what to do to access my phone.....

Where to buy notebook air on the US?

Hello A friend of mine is going to the US and I'm thinking about asking him to bring a notebook air 13", i5 8th generating, 256GB mx150... I want to give him less trouble as possible, so maybe deliver at his hotel.. I don't know how long he will stay there so shipping must be fast or maybe a phisical store.. how to open mi air 12

ive got a little problem opening my mi air 12 to install an ssd. online most people use t5 screwdrivers, but they are too small for mine. The T6 are to big. Does anybody else has the same problem or an idea, how to handle that?

Mi Notebook Pro supplier

I am thinking of getting this laptop and converting the chinese windows to linux so I dont have to pay extra (this should also increase performance and battery life right?

But anyway i was wondering which supplier i should go for. E.g gearbest, banggood and geek buying as they all vary in price by alot. Do some account the money for tax/customs or whatever or are there codes I need to find to bring the price down. Also is there a certain time that all the sites go on sale?

Also can anyone from the uk confirm that the power adapter is safe to put in a converter? or should I buy a seperate charger.

Help with Mi ANC & Type-C In-Ear Earphones

Hi all, I recently purchased the Mi ANC Type C earphones and I have noticed when the noise cancelling switch is on, I can hear a sound like white/static noise. Do you think this is normal?

I thought noise cancelling will remove most of the noise from the outside world but as it is, it adds more when I play music in low volume.

Do you think they can be fake?
