What power should Samsung Convertible wireless charger give to Iphone 8 plus when charging ? Posted: 02 Apr 2018 04:13 AM PDT Hi, I have Samsung Fast Charge Wireless Charging Convertible and i use it with my 8 plus. I recently discovered a great app for windows, iMazing is called that even when conected to wireless it shows me the charging details for my phone. So the results are this : - when conected to the 5W apple charger from the box it's charging my phone with aprox 4- 4,5 Watt - when conected to the samsung wireless charger charges only with 3.6 Watt - when conectet to a 12W apple charger (from ipad) charges with 6.8- 8 Watt. [Help] S9+ default weather app not working Posted: 02 Apr 2018 07:32 AM PDT I've had the s9+ for a week now and a few days ago the default weather widget on the home screen won't load. No matter what I do (clear cache/data, allow all permissions, location on) I either get a "Couldnt find location" or if it locks onto a location, it won't update and it'll say "service is temporarily unavailable ". It's been doing this for days now and I'm getting quite annoyed. I travel a lot and every time I'm in a new place it would be nice to have the factory app actually work. Recently switched from ios and there goes music in my car... Posted: 02 Apr 2018 07:26 AM PDT Hey guys, recently switched over to a s9+ after years and years of various iphones. So far, I like almost everything about it. One thing thats been ticking me off nonstop however is the bluetooth connectivity with my car. I have a 2002 Honda Civic Si running and aftermarket Sony XAV-V630BT double din head unit, which I installed myself a little less than a year ago. So far, I had zero issues with the 3 ios devices I've gone through. Unfortunately, my S9 isn't as cooperative... the connection keeps on dropping, sometimes just a pause in the music, sometimes just a complete drop. I've used the phone with other bluetooth speakers just fine, and also have been using my old iPhone se again in the car with no problems with the head unit. I've also tried resetting both the phone network settings and the head unit itself, to no avail. Any idea on how I might tackle this? Note 8 deletes messages within minutes? Posted: 01 Apr 2018 08:59 PM PDT My texts, just with my one number in my contacts, randomly delete themselves. Sometimes they last a couple days and other times it can be within minutes. Sometimes it will even delete before I can open it to mark it read. I saved the old contact profile, put a fake number in and created a new profile. It worked for a while but I just updated to android 8 today and it started to do it again. Anyone else experience this or found a fix? I've searched but can't find anything. S5 vs j7 pro Posted: 02 Apr 2018 03:52 AM PDT I have s5, bought it as soon as it was released. Till now it works fine. Had some issues with mic and speakers which i got them fixed. Phone works fine just has a lot of scratches on it and can be seen that has been used for a long time. I am thinking about to update 2 j7pro which is a very nice looking for phone but S5 is better in some aspects. For example the camera. I'm trying to download a PDF file from a website, but the ongoing download, usually named as <Untitled> disappears from the notification bar after few seconds. After a couple of seconds, it reappears again and it disappears. After waiting for 3 minutes, all I get is 'Download Unsuccessful' even though I have a strong Internet connection. Just Updated Note 8 to Oreo, & Everything is Broken Posted: 01 Apr 2018 11:08 AM PDT I have Just updated my Note 8 to Oreo and since then almost everything involving photos is broken (Ex: Google Drive crashes when downloading pictures, I can't set my wallpaper, Samsung themes just crashes, Discord crashes when trying to look at files, and the Google play store crashes when trying to download updates or apps) I did notice that when I deleted about 25GB's of files that are few apps started to work, (Lightroom and the picture app) but almost everything is still broken. (By deleted, I mean compressed with RAR) Internal: 64GB SD Card: 64GB Encrypted Is there a way to fix this without resetting my phone?
