Posted: 24 Apr 2018 07:08 PM PDT Yesterday, I posted about Amazon discontinuing their MP3 storage service in order to push subscriptions to Amazon Music. I also warned that Google may follow. Well, today, Droid Life is reporting that Google is planning to replace Play Music with YouTube Remix by the end of the year. There's a war on digital music collectors so that each big tech co can beef up their subscriber numbers and compete with (now public) Spotify. If you are a music collector, now is the time to secure your music. Make sure you have a copy of your music library on your hard drive or on a file storage service like Dropbox, OneDrive or Google Drive so you can keep accessing it without restrictions in the months and years to come. Looking for an app to read the caller's name aloud, any suggestions? Posted: 25 Apr 2018 10:28 AM PDT Seriously, there is SO MUCH crap on the Play Store... does anyone know any good app that reads out the names of who's calling? Is it possible to just do it in clean Android One? I need to figure this out for my dad. Thanks! [link] [comments] |

Is there a blue light filter app that actually works in Oreo (non-root)? Posted: 25 Apr 2018 05:59 AM PDT Now that apps such as Twilight and Cf.lumen are basically useless in Android Oreo (due to them not displaying over the status and navbars as well as the notification shade), do you know of any similar apps that bypass this, through say ADB commands (if it's even possible)? I know for rooted users this is easy but for non-rooted users, is there a way? [link] [comments] |
Change in Business Calendar notification behavior? Posted: 25 Apr 2018 08:02 AM PDT I use Business Calendar 2 (I used Business Calendar Pro before that). One of the things I always liked about it is that the notifications stayed persistent in the notification bar, even after the time for the calendared event elapsed, until you manually swiped the notification away. Recently, the app seems to have intermittently stopped behaving this way, but rather notifications are just disappearing on their own. Has anyone else noticed this change in behavior? Posted: 25 Apr 2018 11:45 AM PDT I had read a claim a while back that Wickr was hard on flash memory as it keeps writing to storage over and over again to erase data. Does anyone know if that claim is true and whether it is still an issue if it is true? [link] [comments] |
Apps that clean system and make it run smoother and aren't placebo? Posted: 25 Apr 2018 11:37 AM PDT Hi guys i'm looking for an app that cools the phone and has antivirus / junk cleaner, something in the lines of Clean Master, although CM is placebo and is plagued with ads plus slows the system even more than it already is. I have a Vodafone Smart E8 VFD510 and it´s rooted so root apps can also be recommended [link] [comments] |

What else can we do with the help of termux?? What are it's possibilities?? Posted: 24 Apr 2018 07:56 PM PDT I use termux mainly for youtube-dl. What else can I do as a normal user with the help of termux? [link] [comments] |
Any alternatives to Native Instagram App Posted: 25 Apr 2018 09:20 AM PDT Instagram App is complete crap. Videos load then stop mid-play and must be forced to play on. Instagram Stories don't load properly. Any idea of alternatives? [link] [comments] |
Is there an app I can use to monitor data used during a certain time limit? Posted: 25 Apr 2018 01:16 AM PDT I have no regular internet access outside of my mom's cell phone that has a limited high speed data limit (10gb for the month), and almost always it runs out. I usually only go to sites like notalwaysright.com and archiveofourown.org, the Reddit is Fun app, and whatever random websites I check out to find out information for a thing I want to find out. Pin total I watch maybe 5 minutes of video, but my mom says that the mostly text based websites I visit are the reason it runs out so fast. My mom really likes watching videos on the Facebook app, and I think that's the reason. So long story short I'm looking for a app that I can...start a timer on I suppose when I get access to the phone and then turn it off when I'm done that will tell me how much data I've used in that time. Of it can break it down between different apps that's even better. [link] [comments] |
What can cause inconsistent font size in browsers? Posted: 25 Apr 2018 04:55 AM PDT I've tried many browsers, and played with their settings. But in each browser the same website has different font sizes. It might be something in the system level? I have LOS 14.1 [link] [comments] |
Looking for a weight trend app that uses Google Fit data Posted: 24 Apr 2018 11:54 PM PDT Is there anything that
Ability to input current weight, with it getting written to Google Fit, would be nice, but not essential. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 25 Apr 2018 03:37 AM PDT Couple months ago in a group chat a buddy of mine commented on the fact that when trying to edit images to send to us he was having trouble finding a quick, easy to use app that could crop/swap/paint etc, so I decided to fix that. We are currently working on adding more modules such as a meme creator and other simple image adjustments such as mirroring and rotating. Let me know what you think! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kinghorn.squidswap.squidswap [link] [comments] |

Posted: 25 Apr 2018 02:11 AM PDT https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mobi.biko.exchained Exchained can bypass the Gmail device administrator. Fullscreen on lg g6 or similar phones Posted: 25 Apr 2018 02:06 AM PDT Hello, I have a lg g6, and as many phones of today, it has a screen with a weird aspect ratio. When i watch YouTube or videos with VLC, there are always black bars on the side, which is wasted space in my opinion. is there an application that lets me fill the screen automatically? Posted: 25 Apr 2018 01:55 AM PDT I was wondering if any of you have heard of an app that performs like some a few Windows programs does. Specifically, the app would take a snapshot, or image of the current state of your phone. A cpl of days down the line, for whatever reason, I'd like to be able to revert to that image and start from the time the image was created. Free or paid is fine. Thank you for any help!
