| Looking for a "Breaking News" app Posted: 30 Mar 2018 09:37 AM PDT I'd like an app that gives me a notification if something really big happens. If a political figure is assassinated, if a war is declared, if someone really famous dies, if there's a major shooting, if an insane scientific discovery is released, if aliens contact us, etc. I like /r/news and /r/worldnews but there's too much sensationalized content and shock stories (top headline is "Tad Cummins who kidnapped his 15-year old student to take her across country for sex purposes, chooses to plead guilty," I have no interest in that and it's not major news). I'd just like an app that keeps me abreast of very major things that are occurring in the world. Anyone know of any? [link] [comments]  |

I have many French, German, Englsish and Asian songs and I wanted to kinda sort them by their language. My current music player Shuttle does not have this option. Basically all you have to do is just create a list of options and then compare each option with one another. | [DEV] Rootless Pixel Launcher 3.4 - And additional apps Posted: 30 Mar 2018 12:20 PM PDT I have been hard at work for another month on various projects: Rootless Pixel Launcher, Google Icons, Audio Streamer, Rootless Snapdragon Camera, Ozone Essentials, and Dynamica. The original post is on a different subreddit now to prevent reports of "vote manipulation" which got my 3.4 thread removed from /r/Android and contains a wall of text with information about all the apps. All of them are open source and completely free to use. This is the biggest release of the 6, the new version of my launcher. Most of the change are bug fixes for various configurations, like Android Work setups. The icon pack has been updated to include more icons, the full list can be seen on GitHub. Audio Streamer Client and Server This is a program that can stream audio from your Windows PC to your phone's speaker/headphone jack with low latency. Compiled from the latest Qualcomm CodeAurora Forums tag, and edited to work without having to flash anything. Only use this on Snapdragon phones. A substratum theme based on Ozone from /u/ungeeked that themes OxygenOS based on Android 8.0 to look more like AOSP. I work a job involving some repetitive tasks where I might go a couple hours doing something that requires no concentration, and I was wondering what would be good for reading stuff off of Chrome webpages. Like I can just have it read off a whole page while I wear headphones and listen, since I can't just read stuff on my phone and work. The only ones I've found require me to copy and paste blocks of text, and they screw up if the part I try to copy has something like an image somewhere. [link] [comments]  |
