[DEV] Fun Kids game where you hide the device Posted: 24 Feb 2018 11:44 PM PST Hello, I have just released my second game and wanted to share it with you all. "Find the Sound Hide & Seek - Animals" As a father of two kids under 3, I really wanted a social cooperative learning game that I could play with them as a team, and also interact with the real world rather than being glued to the phone/tablet the whole time. "Find the Sound Hide & Seek - Animals" is a fun hide and seek game whose unique selling point is that the actual phone/tablet is hidden somewhere by one player and the other(s) have to then listen carefully to try and find where it's been hidden. My kids love it and it's really helped them learn animal names and sounds as well as the social skills involved with playing together as a team with others. Hope you enjoy it too. Navigation app less memory intensive than Gmaps? Posted: 25 Feb 2018 07:37 AM PST Im looking for a less memory intensive alternative to Gmaps for my aftermarket headunit ( grom vline ). When I run Gmaps on it, its extremely laggy and crashes often. Does such an app exist? [link] [comments] |

What's your favourite Pocket (read later) alternative? Posted: 25 Feb 2018 03:48 AM PST I do like Pocket but wanted to broaden my horizon and see if there are any alternatives that this community really likes. Thanks! [link] [comments] |
What are some really nice beautify apps? Posted: 25 Feb 2018 07:40 AM PST I've currently tried air brush, it's pretty amazing, I was wondering if there was a better one... [link] [comments] |
Any good one-time payment coloring apps? Posted: 25 Feb 2018 10:23 AM PST Can anyone please name some coloring apps that have a reasonable one-time payment option to access all features and remove ads? All coloring apps that I find are subscription-based and quite expensive at that. [link] [comments] |

App for tracking Play movie prices? Posted: 25 Feb 2018 06:51 AM PST Hi all. I've got a great app in my iPad that shows me all the sale prices of movies on iTunes. Is there a similar app for Android and Play movies? [link] [comments] |
Looking for a security camera app with remote on/off/low-power for battery heating issues... Posted: 25 Feb 2018 10:10 AM PST So I have an old phone that isn't being used, and I'd like to convert it into a security camera... The only issue with that would be overheating, so I'm looking for an app that features stand-by mode (or something similar) so that the operating camera doesn't cause any issues such as the phone shutting down, or worse - battery explosion. Successfully cloned my phone (using TWRP) ! Posted: 24 Feb 2018 04:36 PM PST I figured that enough people lose or damage their phone, or even get it stolen, so why not be proactive and buy a backup before I need it! So I bought an identical phone second hand and erased the OS and have now transfered my SlimRoms OS with all my apps and settings onto the new phone. Thank you TWRP!!!! I made a nandroid backup onto an SD card, then moved the SD card across to the new phone and restored it. I just had to edit the recovery.log file to make the serial number match the serial number of the new phone for the restore to work. [link] [comments] |
[DEV] Beacon - Share you location while you're cycling Posted: 25 Feb 2018 07:18 AM PST Hi! I just pushed to the play store the version production version of my new app, which shares your location in real time while you're cycling, for your safety. I've been using it almost daily for the past few months, and added a lot of the features that I could think of that were missing from the alternatives. The app is ad free, and plans to stay that way. I'd love to have your feedback on it :) [link] [comments] |

[DEV] Swiftly Swipe - Looking for beta testers Posted: 24 Feb 2018 11:42 PM PST Hi Reddit! I just uploaded a Swiftly Swipe app to play store and am hoping to get some beta testers to provide feedback on it. Here is link to Swiftly Swipe Swiftly Swipe gives you the ability to use your phone with one hand by gestures. Swiftly Swipe is not another edge screen, side bar, app switcher or side panel app. It includes all of them while stays FREE to give you the best experience. Here are some highlight of the app features:
In next plan, I will develop more edge like weather edge, screen recorder/capture, browser bookmark, ... I would love to hear any comment, feedback from you. Your feedback will help me improve quality of app before publish to production. P/S: For all beta testers, I will give a promo code to use PRO version (will be published after 2 weeks from now) if you send me a feedback via email. Finally, thank you very much. I'm sorry if my English is not good. It's not my native language. Email to receive feedback: developer.alticode@gmail.com [link] [comments] |

Best keyboard for swiping/gesture typing now that Swype won't be updated? Posted: 24 Feb 2018 04:18 PM PST I'd rather not need to switch to a tapping keyboard. Swiftkey's gesture typing is driving me bananas. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 24 Feb 2018 08:51 PM PST Hey everybody. I am having a slight problem with Samsung Health. I am using a Samsung Galaxy S8 and cannot get the Health app to launch. In the past I have disabled some of the default apps because I didn't use them. Now I want to use Samsung Health so I reenabled it. But when I launch the app I am getting this warning message. Are there any other apps or system apks that I need to reenabled to get this to work? I have tried reinstalling the app and restarting my phone several times. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance. [link] [comments] |
[DEV] Repost Hero - an app for reposting Instagram pics without ads or watermarks Posted: 24 Feb 2018 01:41 PM PST I made this app for myself because all of the reposting apps I found either
I'd love your feedback on the app. The search feature is on a separate page instead of integrated into the app header because I had some struggles with the SearchView. Play Store link: Repost Hero [link] [comments] |
What's a good floating browser? Posted: 24 Feb 2018 07:41 PM PST I use Flynx, but sadly it doesn't support drop down boxes and will offer to open the page in a regular browser. But the website I need to use in a floating mode has a drop down box that I need to use. [link] [comments] |

Sms with private conversations? Posted: 24 Feb 2018 11:25 PM PST I'm using Textra (lovin it btw) on a LG G6. Is there an app that will hide a conversation from a specific person, but allow all others to show up as normal conversations in the incoming txts window? Example: I have regular conversations with my family, certain friends as usual. I would like to have one certain contact to be able to send me a text and not have it show up in my imcoming text list. Knowing their texts are coming in, I'd like to be able to open their msgs without seeing it in the regular msg window. I know of apps like Signal etc, but the problem is, their conversations will show up in the regular convo window just like any other msg app I hope I've explained myself properly. Ty for any help! How to play a folder of videos in mx player with same settings Posted: 25 Feb 2018 12:57 AM PST I am watching a tutorial videos from a folder on my device. I generally watch those tutorial on 1.5x speed but whenever next video starts in the folder it starts with 1x speed i need to change speed for each and every video again and again. I just wanted to preserve the settings for that playlist. Is there any setting to make this happen in mx player? [link] [comments] |
Lock screen notifications like OnePlus 5T? Posted: 24 Feb 2018 08:33 PM PST For work purposes, I'm having to switch from my OnePlus 5T that I love to the LG V30, which I'm still learning. One of the things I'm trying to do is to get my notifications to appear on-screen for a few seconds while the phone is locked. I really like like how OnePlus does this with the Ambient Display option, but this doesn't seem to be an option native on the V30 that I can find. Example of the OnePlus notification Does anybody know a way to get this look with an app? Matching the OnePlus look exactly I assume is near impossible so anything similar would be great! I do like how just the notification appears and doesn't wake up the whole screen. Gotta make use of that OLED goodness Thank you for any thoughts! [link] [comments] |
Need a non reversal front camera Posted: 25 Feb 2018 03:01 AM PST Been searching for such a thing for years. I look utterly different in front of the mirror because my jawline is on the more uneven side. So I really want some mirror/camera that's showing how I look in real life rather than the mirror image. There's already someone created Mirror Mirror, it'll be a great idea for it to turn into a camera. [link] [comments] |
