I've tried restarting the phone, buying new headphones, etc. It happened after I broke a pair while doing something while it was still connected. Is this a common issue that can be resolved? | Posted: 02 Jan 2018 03:41 PM PST When I bought s8 , after 7 days my batter would be powering up for 8 hours instead of 1:30h. And now when phone hits 10% on battery its automatically shuts down , and sometimes its on 1% when i turn it on and sometimes on 10%. Any suggestions, first problem i solved by plugging phone into computer, besides last days I'm on my phone all the time i need to recharge it twice a day. [link] [comments]  | ||

Posted: 02 Jan 2018 10:53 AM PST My little brother got a tablet for Christmas and it was supposed to be just a toy for some games and YouTube. So I set up a new email and some random password. After he clogged it with games which made it almost impossible to use I decided to factory reset it instead of deleting the games one by one. Buuut ofc when I booted it up after the reset, the tablet asked me for email and password that's synced to it. So is there any way to bypass it? I tried to follow few tutorials which relied on opening the web browser, but all the ways I tried are already patched. The tablet is Prestigio 3131_3G with Android 6.0 if that helps [link] [comments]  | ||
| Posted: 02 Jan 2018 09:51 AM PST Finally time for my upgrade on sprint and just found out they don't offer the pixel, which is a huge bummer. I've had an iPhone since the 4 and was ready to make the switch, but don't even know where to start now. What can I get that is "pure" android and that will have a great camera and will be an overall upgrade from my 7+? Also worth noting, I use google everything.. my job uses all google and I use it personally and have a google home and chrome cast and YouTube tv, so I am looking for good integration between everything. The phone was bought from Best Buy mobile as an "unlocked" phone. I don't know if that has something to do with it but it seems like it does. I'm fairly competent with Androids and I've watched tutorials but the buttons that they tell me to press don't seem to exist. Anyone have any idea what to do? [link] [comments]  | ||

The problem is that I accidentally chose the wrong account to use for restoring my phone. How can I go back and restore from the correct backup so I can retrieve my contacts and my texts? | App to edit title, artist etc of an mp3 file? Posted: 02 Jan 2018 07:41 PM PST On Windows you can right click, properties, and edit the title and artist etc of an audio file. Are there any apps on android that you can do this? My car stereo only reads title, artist and album not the file name and I download mixes with none of this info inserted, if anyone is wondering why I'd like to edit this. | Posted: 02 Jan 2018 07:04 PM PST Our dns stopped working which happens sometimes it's not a huge problem. We just switched to Google's public dns and everything was fine except for my brother in law's phone (moto E 2nd gen, android version 5.1) it can connect just fine but not everything works. He can access facebook but not youtube and neither of us have been able to figure out why it isn't working or how to fix it. All google results refer to settings his phone doesn't have so he suspects they're talking about a different moto E 2nd gen. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Samsung S8 thinks USB is charging Posted: 02 Jan 2018 06:05 PM PST I have a Samsung S8 and I'm trying to connect a USB via the provided OTG connector. When I connect it and go to ES Explorer it shows the USB being empty. If I pull down the notification bar at the top it says "USB Charging connected device". I select that and it gives me several options. I select transfer files and all that does is disconnect the USB and reconnect with the same original message. The annoying thing is I connected the same USB only yesterday to test it and it worked perfectly fine and I could view everything on the USB. But now it thinks my it's charging rather than being an external memory. I've tried restarting my phone and that did nothing. I've tried several USB apps and they've not been able to do anything. | Message + issue with my moto z force Posted: 02 Jan 2018 01:55 PM PST X-posted to r/Verizon. About a week ago, my message+ app started acting up. The bar with the photos and links tab all disappeared. I just wiped my phone today thinking there was an issue within the phone itself and I got all of those tabs back. Just now they disappeared again. Today I also started not receiving texts which was why I ultimately wiped it. Please tell me what's going on with my phone. Posted: 02 Jan 2018 01:04 PM PST I saw several articles last year that this feature is forthcoming, but there hasn't been an update in a few months. Has anyone been able to use your Google Voice # to initiate a text with Android Auto yet? I primarily use Hangouts to text with my GV #. Currently, no matter what you preference is, AA will only use your carrier # to send a text through the Messages. Thanks for any tips on this! [link] [comments]  |
