Posted: 01 Jan 2018 10:49 AM PST For those who play any instruments: what apps are absolutely must-have in your experience? I'm a guitar player in my free time, and these are my go-to apps
Any suggestion for better alternatives? [link] [comments]
Best launcher for a kids tablet? Posted: 01 Jan 2018 10:36 AM PST We are upgrading my daughter from a fire 7 to a LG Pad X 8. We like the parental controls and launcher for the fire tablet, but now that she is doing games it is just too slow and frustrating for me to use to get things running or opened for her. We are using the LG because I had 3 of those laying around. I have setup Google Family link to restrict app access and content, but now I am looking for a good launcher. Everything seems to have it's own content controls which I do not need. It would be great to have a widget that shows the most recent apps, videos, ect that were used like the Amazon tablet. Also, it would be nice if it was colorful with a larger interface. Do you have any suggestions? Why do you use? [link] [comments]
Has anyone tried the ProtonVPN? It is advocated to be by CERN people, sounds fishy. Posted: 01 Jan 2018 02:51 AM PST I currently use TurboVPN, but the full screen ads aren't really something I'd like on my phone. Looking for free alternatives that are comparatively safer. Fell upon this, so just want to know if anyone has tried it? [link] [comments]

Posted: 31 Dec 2017 05:55 PM PST So I attempted to play around a bit awhile ago but found zooper easier at the time. I remember making all these little widgets to try and get the look I wanted. Overlaying them with Nova. Today I went out and splurged on kwlp pro. It's amazing hands down. Been playing with it for the last few hours. Combined with a launcher I find it's one of the apps that really makes your phone yours. Thoughts? Tips or tricks for a newbie? [link] [comments]
Posted: 01 Jan 2018 01:13 AM PST Although vpn keep running but they don't block ads so I have to manually turn off vpn and turn it on again each time. Which is little bit annoying and not reliable because you dont know if von is blocking ad or not. Is there any other app which doesn't have this problem or any solution to this problem?? Posted: 01 Jan 2018 08:29 AM PST I am using Micromax Bolt.A065 model, which has a god-damned keyboard. I'm in constant typing conversation with friends, so naturally, a fucked up keyboard has more often than not, messed things up for me. So I did the obvious thing: Downloaded Swype Keyboard. All was going fine, until the time came to update GMail. That's when I was notified: Low on space. And that fucking swype took almost all my space!! From then, it was Swype to Cheetah, Cheetah to GBoard, Gboard to what not, but every time, end of month, back to square one: Space issues. Thankfully, I have a SD card with lots of free space. And that is the fucking irony: I have got space, but none the keyboards can be moved to SD:( So my requirements are pretty simple: 1) Keyboard should occupy not more than 50 MB of phone space. Preferably, movable to SD 2) All I seek for is swype, for quality typing 3) Multiple languages would be awesome (I say multiple, but other than English, the only other language I want is espanol.) 4) Absolutely ZERO involvement of Root, or complicated stuff. Now if this is an already existing FAQ which has already been answered, do have a heart big enough to forgive me, and post the thread's link. I should also mention that I'm a noob in the biggest sense of the word, and might be unawarely asking for a helluva lot. And please, don't judge me for using a phone grandad for its age. TLDR: Suggest a keyboard movable to SD card (or occupies super-low phone space), that has swype, and also supports spanish. Also nothing to do with root. [link] [comments]

Posted: 01 Jan 2018 10:23 AM PST Team based games, or games like truth or dare. At a party we played emoji scherades, Pictionary and truth or dare, I couldn't find good truth or dare (or just truth tbh) with a good selection of mature questions. Edit: Found the Truth or Dare game, it's by a company called Tiggel but apparently was really burried in the playstore [link] [comments]
Friefox with LastPass Extension Posted: 01 Jan 2018 10:17 AM PST Since I started using Firefox on Android I've never been able to get the LastPass add-on working properly. Once I goto a site that needs a password and to get my last pass choices to show up I have to enter my master password and that's where it gets stuck, never leaving the initial sign in screen with the red swirly thing I know there's the LastPass app but that typically doesn't work very well with Firefox for some reason. Password app for citrix android? Posted: 01 Jan 2018 08:43 AM PST Hey guys, I use my tablet a lot for apps on citrix. In the medical field and a lot of our different EMRs are citrix based. Is there an app that will paste my password into citrix apps? Lastpass doesn't seem to be working. Whole goal of tablet based system was to avoid keyboards and as you can imagine with connectivity of citrix it can disconnect a lot making relogin a pain. Thank you and happy new years! Navigation + Music Audio Integration Posted: 31 Dec 2017 11:31 PM PST I am trying to get navigation audio from google maps or waze to integrate with audio played from songs stored on my SD Card. It does this correctly with the google "play music" app, it turns down the volume when navigation guidance voice is speaking. However, the "play music" app is not google-assistant friendly. Every time I try to use it to play a specific song or artist from my files, it wants to search google for it (instead of playing my local files) and tells me I am not subscribed. Poweramp works great with google assistant, but not with navigation apps. It shuts down completely when the navigation speaks and delays 5 seconds before coming back on. I have tried making an IFTTT (no way to do it), I tried searching for an audio manager (no luck), apparently there is a feature request on poweramp that hasn't been fulfilled. Are there any audio players (other than poweramp and google play music) that can integrate well with both navigation audio and google assistant? Are there any navigation apps that can do this? Maybe an app for google assistant that would help? Or some kind of audio manager that can sort this all out? Edit: S7 Verizon, Nougat [link] [comments]

I spend 10.2% of my working day authenticating myself. Posted: 31 Dec 2017 07:49 PM PST I painstakingly recorded the exact times down to the second for every minute of my day, split into time per activity. After 2 weeks of this, I did the math to find the averages: There must be a better way. I am of course referring to re-captchas, they are a vampire on productivity. [link] [comments] |
