5 Quick Tl;Dr Android Game Reviews / Recommendations (Episode 33) Posted: 01 Dec 2017 07:16 AM PST Happy 1st of December, everyone! Special thanks to the kind random stranger who gilded last week's post <3 Been really excited to share this week's 5 games with you all! New to these posts? Check out the first one from 31 weeks ago here. As usual, the games games are "ranked" somewhat subjectively from best to worst, so take the ranking for what it is. What do you think about the games yourself - let's discuss it below! December here we come!Rules of Survival [Game Size: 1.16 GB] (free)Genre: Battle Royale / "PUBG" - Online tl;dr review: Rules of Survival is the second Battle Royale game from NetEase, Survivor Royale being the first, and the two games are almost identical. The main differences are that Rules of Survival has EU servers (as well as US and Asian), and that the game has less of a "military" setting. With 120-player real-time battles on a huge map, there was a bit of lag when deploying from the plane, but other than that, the game played rather smoothly. There's no monetization yet, but I expect lootboxes will be sold for premium currency. So far, I'd recommend Rules of Survival over Survivor Royale! Google Play: Here First Impressions / Review: Here Turn Undead: Monster Hunter [Game Size: 64 MB] (free)Genre: Turn-Based / Puzzler / Platformer - Offline tl;dr review: A tiny turn-based puzzle platformer where time only moves, when you move (Super Hot, I'm looking at you!) from the always-awesome Nitrome. The puzzles are fun and difficult, and the monetization is simply instantly skippable + incentivized "one-more-life" ads", with a single $5 IAP to remove the non-incentivized ads. Google Play: Here First Impressions / Review: Here Happy Racing [Total Game Size: 157 MB] (free)Genre: Racing / 2D / PVP - Online & Offline (<3) tl;dr review: If Happy Wheels was a mobile game and had online multiplayer, you'd pretty much have Happy Racing. It's a fun singleplayer and online + local multiplayer gory ragdoll physics racer from the developers of Bowmasters. There are plenty of hilarious characters to unlock, and even without paying, you'll quickly unlock many of them, and a $4 IAP removes all ads, of which there otherwise are a few 5-second skippable ones. Google Play: Here First Impressions / Review: Here Mighty Battles [Total Game Size: 172 MB] (free)Genre: Strategy / PVP / "Clash Royale"-like - Online tl;dr review: Mighty Battles is a Clash Royale-like game in a military setting (that's literally it; nothing too new). The game's fun and runs smoothly, but the pay2win elements are evident right from the beginning, and I honestly feel they should be adjusted slightly. With all that said, though, I still recommend checking it out if you enjoy landscape-mode games and are looking for a Clash Royale alternative! Google Play: Here First Impressions / Review: Here GunGun Online [Total Game Size: 178 MB] (free)Genre: Turn-Based / PVP / "Worms"-like - Online tl;dr review: A real-time multiplayer "Worms"-like turn-based shooting game with a room-based matchmaking meaning you get to have a say in who you're matched against (finally!). The monetization seems on the heavy side, though, with most things acquirable through IAP, such as new vehicles etc. Google Play: Here First Impressions / Review: Here Episode 1 Episode 2 Episode 3 Episode 4 Episode 5 Episode 6 Episode 7 Episode 8 Episode 9 Episode 10 Episode 11 Episode 12 Episode 13 Episode 14 Episode 15 Episode 16 Episode 17 Episode 18 Episode 19 Episode 20 Episode 21 Episode 22 Episode 23 Episode 24 Episode 25 Episode 26 Episode 27 Episode 28 Episode 29 Episode 30 Episode 31 Episode 32 [link] [comments]

Shadow Fight 3 is even worse than I ever expected Posted: 01 Dec 2017 08:27 AM PST After playing the game for a while I have one question. Why in the fuck is this game published? It adds nothing good to the series, but is just worse than SF2. Let's begin shall we? 1: Unlocking system What the fuck is this bullshit. In SF2 you were able to purchase everything by playing, of course you had to grind by playing survivals, but in this game there is some next level bullshit in here. Everything is unlocked by using crates and packs. You can either buy packs (except that only the worst one is purchasable with ingame currency, the rest require buying diamonds with real money), and you have to grind even to get that. You can also win crates from Duels, except that even the worst one takes 3 hours to open (if not speeded up with diamonds). The rest take 8- or 16 hours. Plus that the few items you get from there are mostly just bad. And yes, of course you can buy the packs and crates by using diamonds aka real world money. So basically it's just a grinding simulator, except that instead of grinding it's pretty much play one game -> wait for 3 hours -> play one game... and so on... 2: Then the playing. You can play Duels (ex. survival) as much as you want, but since you can only have 4 chests at the time there is no point of playing it more. So you basically play those once in 3-8 hours. You can also play missions (ex. challenges), but only once in like 6 hours. Then there are the main story missions which are like tournamentand boss bodyguards combined. That mode has no cooldown, but it's always "impossible", so you have grind for equipment to win them. So basically the playing is 95% waiting for chests to open or missions to be playable (if you don't spend real world money)... 3: The gameplay is absolutely horrific. Why did they have to remove the silhouette style. With that, the game looked good, but now they brought colors and 3D, and of course the textures look bad and the animations buggy. Also the damage system makes no sense. Some attack moves deal just massive amount of damage compared to the other ones. And yes, those moves are unlocked via packs aka real money. Also the weapon balance is horrible, weapons with fast strikes are just way too powerful compared to slow hitting ones, since even the slow hitting ones don't even usually have longer range or more damage. Oh yes and the damage. For some goddamned reason the unarmed attacks are way more powerful than the ones with weapons. For example making the double strike with punch deals like 5x times the damage compared to double strike with staff. And also punch attack is much faster... like... why... and of course there are some weapons that actually deal damage and are useful but they are rare so... u know... real money... and shit.... And then the gameplay itself. The movement and controls are super crappy. The amount of times you try to do something, but your character does something else is just insane. Also for some reason in this game if you get downed, the enemy can continue hitting you while you are lying on the ground, unable to block. So usually if the enemy downs you, he gets 3-6 free attacks without you having a chance to defend yourself, which usually means 60% of your health is out because you coudn't defend yourself. Also if the enemy has a fast hitting weapon, if you get cornered there is usually a situation where you can't do anything because the enemy spams attacks to you and everytime you try something the enemy hits you to ground. Also for some reason I'm very often taking damage randomly. The enemy basically hits the air like 7 meters away from me but for some reason I take 40% damage and die... logical... So yeah, I was waiting for a disappointment and was still disappointed... This game is just unfinished piece of crap that uses P2W mechanics to milk money from the players. [link] [comments]

Trying to get this app to work Posted: 01 Dec 2017 09:53 PM PST im trying to understand why won't Maplestory live deluxe app work? The app is no longer in the googleplay store but it can be played offline. Every time I try to play it, it says looking for update then proceeded to tell me that my internet is slow and I have to restart. I think I need the OBB or install data in order to bypass that part. Anyone know how can I get it to work? Thanks [link] [comments]

Instruction For those that want to preregister the PUBG android Posted: 01 Dec 2017 07:33 AM PST Preregister will give you ingame gold package with a equipment package (small red tag with the word rare in the picture) Only two ways to do this 1- with QQ account, 2- with wechat account( I did this) step 1- goto google play download WECHAT ( think of wechat as chinese SKYPE but way better) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tencent.mm&hl=en step 2- creat an account , log in step 3- in wechat, click the top right corner + (sign) step 4- scan qr code. https://imgur.com/HyEY5bv step 5- https://imgur.com/gDTCnoz STEP 6 - https://imgur.com/ctbpYMS STEP 7 - https://imgur.com/tVTjkW0 STEP 8-https://imgur.com/Fr9MU8z ALL DONE! now just wait for it to go live! PS. it is unknown if the game will be completely in Chinese or will also have English. I think it probably will have English, since it is from the official PC PUBG developer. Anyone who already play PUBG on PC should have no problem playing it even if it is completely in Chinese. [link] [comments]

Looking for an active english speaking Battle of Arrow clan, I'm like 2 games from level 12 Posted: 01 Dec 2017 09:28 AM PST Just started playing like 2 days ago, loving it so far, Im winning most games easily but thats more because people im against are rly bad opposed to me being "rly good" im progressing campaign and stuff, and I'm mostly sorta casual like I'm not gonna be spending 100s of bucks to progress, or grind out hours any time soon, but I'd like to get into an active group to be able to send/receive gifts and stuff. Game itself doesn't have a sub yet as far as I know, and I know it's gotten some attention here so I figured worth a try [link] [comments]
