What do we call controllers/gamepads that turn your phone into a handheld?

    Posted: 27 Nov 2017 03:59 PM PST

    Gamepads like the Gamevice https://www.amazon.com/Gamevice-Controller-iPhone-Plus-Model-mac/dp/B01MY75W72/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1511827062&sr=8-1&keywords=gamevice

    and the Bounabay Wee https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XKSNCTM/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A20UVQXS9NG1BG

I feel like there should be a specific sub-class name for these type of gamepads since they're becoming more and more common it seems.

I'm asking because I'm looking for a quality one for Android and I'm having trouble tracking all of the available ones down since there isn't really a specific search term I can type in

    Community for battle of arrow?

    Posted: 27 Nov 2017 02:44 AM PST

    Hi,
Since BoA is the first game in ages that I can get behind due to its competitive nature and finally a not a full of fucked up shit gimmicks and mechanics like 99% of mobile multiplayer games, I really search for a community. It seems like the game is well accepted and played all over the world a lot, I can't find a place where people talk about it. Anyone found a subreddit or forum?
Also, if you haven't tried it, do it!!! I can tell my mom now I play a horse riding game and there's no dumb comment anymore "always those killer games" (if shed knew).

    /r/BattleOfArrow is now live

Do you think Clash Royals is A LOT P2W or just A LOT grindy?

    Posted: 27 Nov 2017 08:27 AM PST

Hi guys, I've seen a lot people talking about this game and that it's really P2W. But I saw some kids playing it and they are usually in arena 10 and obviously didn't pay for things. So it's really P2W or just heavy grinding? Thanks in advance.

Rules of Survival is GREAT. [Think PUBG on Android]

    Posted: 27 Nov 2017 10:24 AM PST

Forgive me if this has been talked about a ton already, but I just discovered this game, as I usually only browse the Android game section every few months.

This game plays like PUBG. I dove into it without much research, and hopped in for a few games.

After adjusting the sensitivity of my turning / look speed, I quickly found the game to handle pretty well. Fights against players I encountered were admittedly somewhat of a shit show with the phone controls, due to needing to have the precision of a mouse or controller for most shooters.

However, it was still fairly smooth, and as accurate as I could hope for on a mobile game, I really hate using the screen of a phone to control movement and looking in 3D shooter games, but it felt pretty good.

I played a total of about 5 games so far, and each match had interesting encounters. Co-op worked great -- my girlfriend downloaded the game and we got right into a few games with no problems in connectivity at all. During one game, we were driving in a car and did fly through the map, dying, which kind of sucked.

Today I hopped in for a couple more and felt even more comfortable with the controls, in fact, I even won my first solo game out of 119 total players in the match!

It's wicked, I'm seriously surprised at the quality and of how much PUBG action and scope they were able to capture on a mobile game, highly recommend.

Just a Query Related to Bladebound

    Posted: 27 Nov 2017 12:11 PM PST

Have any of you played this game yet? I mean this is an ultra fast killer hack and slash game on my Smartphone right now! It's actually better then Dungeon Hunter 5.

However, recently while playing I noticed that in one character build set my Bladebound went pretty ballistic! I mean I am not talking about attack damage here, it became super agile and started slashing ultra fast.

Does any of you (who play Bladebound out there) can help me identify the character build set! Or is there any other tactic how you can make your Bladebound to transform into a speed maniac.

Help is more than appreciated, thanks.

    About auto play on ARPG/RPG

    Posted: 27 Nov 2017 09:28 AM PST

Hey guys, first post here,i always see that a lot of mobile gamers hate the "auto play" option because it make you feel that the game plays itself, other players like it because they don't have the time to be sticked in the phone screen for 3hr.

I think the solution could be that in case you make a level/instance not using the auto play function, you have the chance to get epic loot or higher % of rare loot (for example, a 30% higher chance) , so if you re-run the same instance for grinding at least it makes your time "worth". Of course, the function could be only be activated before the match starts.

What do you think about this?

Autumn Dynasty on a 5.5 inch screen

    Posted: 27 Nov 2017 12:43 AM PST

Anyone here who was able to try out Autumn Dynasty on a 5.5 inch phone?

Just found out that it's available on Android so I'd really like to buy it but I'm not sure if the experience would be as enjoyable if I play it on a tablet.
