    Laptop Cleaning (It Got Sticky Trackpad)

    I bought a new laptop And cleaned its screen keyboard trackpad with My spectacle cleaning cloth. Now my mind is stuck that its whole body became sticky and i have to pus more to use the trackpad the keys are sticky . What should i do? Should i buy a new microfiber cloth and clean it with water?

    Hopefully this is the right place to post this. So I got an ASUS Chromebook Flip last year for Christmas. I have never had any issues with it. I used it yesterday and later I noticed it was off. I assumed it was dead so I plugged it up. After about 3 hours I go to use it again and it's unresponsive. The charging light isn't coming on and it won't power on. Normally if I hold the power button down it will show a dead battery symbol on the screen but now it won't do anything at all. I tried four different chargers and also tried different outlets around my house. Nothing has worked. I'm not sure what has happened and I don't know what to do. Can anyone help?

    I just bought a gaming laptop that came with Windows 11, so I detected some issues, like poor wifi speed download and drain battery, the battery barely lasts 2 hours doing nothing. Is it a problem with windows 11 or my laptop is broken?

    I use linux, program/use vm's etc, but I've heard both have good compatibility with those so I'm not sure if it plays a factor

    Laptop recommendation

    I am thinking about buying a laptop and I'm split between the MSI gf66 Katana, the Dell g15 and the HP 16. All have RTX 3060s, 11th gen i7s and 144 Hz screens. Does anyone have experience with any of these laptops? And if so which of these would you recommend.

    Terrible FPS drops on certain online games

    I have an HP pavilion 15 laptop, which as I understand is not too old yet or too terrible for gaming.
    But the problem is that whenever I'm playing games my FPS would at times randomly drop all the way to anywhere between 3 and 15.
    Most of the times this would happen whenever a lot is happening on the screen, for instance during teamfights in LoL or basically anytime I'm playing as Killer in Dead by Daylight, but it can also happen randomly even when walking in games like Don't Starve Together.
    Now I believe I fulfill the minimum requirements to play any of those games at least awful-low quality but still these games become literally unplayable when it happens, and I would at times even get some random CPU spikes when doing basic stuff like opening task manager or chrome.
    This is a laptop that has had disk problems in the past so I replaced its HDD a couple of months ago and had a clean windows install so I'm not sure what's going on here. Any input or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Loud Laptop

    Hi, so I am thinking of replacing my current laptop (7 years old), with something newer, and a bit more powerfull.

    My current laptop is an HP with intel i5 and gt940m (I know, quite a bit weak for anything serious). My primary use will be for programming, 3d modeling software, such as fusion 360, maybe some Adobe Premiere editing, etc, and of course, some light to moderate gaming.

    I am currently looking at the XMG APEX 17 laptop (seems nice, to be able to customize what you get). I was also looking at the Asus line, but they don't have 17-inch laptops or the ones they do have are over 2k EUR. A friend of mine has an XMG, mostly stock, and it is still quite nice.

    Bestware currently has a 20% sale on them, and this would be my setup. Because they offer 5% off (up to 20%) for each Samsung component the list follows:

    The current list has a RTX 3060, but I am also thinking to maybe get the RTX 3070, so to not have the GPU outdated any time soon. And also, since a more powerfull GPU would heat up less on more medium tasks.

    So, after losing the dongle that came with the laptop(asus USB-C Type C to 3.5MM jack adapter), and buying third-party replacements that don't seem to work. I scoured the internet for a retailer that sells the dongle and I have only found shady websites and an even shadier ebay listing. Asus does have a "Noise-cancelling mic adapter", but I'm not sure it's the same thing. Is there any legit place I can buy the dongle? And why doesn't asus sell it on their website? Any help would be appreciated!

    I want a powerful laptop I have two in mind

    One is a macbook, with M1, 16gigs of ram and 512 gb storage

    Other is a small company but has AMD Ryzen 7, GTX 1650, also 16 gigs and 1TB storage

    which one should I go for??

    PS: The Mac is costlier but I can afford it as well

    I heard that it preforms similar to a gtx 1050 ti which is impressive I'm in the market for a budget laptop around 400-500$ And I was wondering should I just buy a Ryzen 5500u laptop Or should I wait for 6000 series I also have the option to buy some used 1650/1050 ti laptop What do you all suggest? I can't find anything regarding the release date for the 6600u laptops (fuck this constant fucking delay shit)
