Posted: 02 May 2022 05:51 AM PDT Hi guys I'm thinking about a slight upgrade for my PC which will set me back a few hundred but I'm undecided on whether it's worth it. I plan on going from GPU: RTX 2060 // CPU: i5 9400f // MoBo: H310CM-HDV To GPU RTX 2060 // CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 // MoBo: MSI MPG B550 Reason being, It'll be a decent budget upgrade to future proof my setup for newer triple AAA titles that utilise up to 12 threads. At the moment games like Warzone run okay but cause a fat old bottleneck. No matter what I do on this game specifically my CPU struggles and sits at 100% constantly. Plus the B550 has many perks, main one for me being M.2. [link] [comments]

What should I change to my build before ordering? Posted: 02 May 2022 07:00 AM PDT Hi everyone, I've been wanting to build my 2nd PC for a long time. But I am really uncertain about my ability to build a strong and efficiënt PC. I am building this for some gaming and working. I used the Logical Increments website and I came to this build. My budget is around €1000 euro's and I live in the Netherlands. Any feedback/advice is welcome! Thanks in advance :)

Undervolting in ASUS TUF B450M-PLUS GAMING Posted: 02 May 2022 06:55 AM PDT I'm trying to undervolt my Ryzen 5 2600x but i'm new to the game, I've seen a lot of content about it and found that there are some different ways of undervolting, but none of them seem what my motherboard options show, except for voltage changing. I want to know if there is a way to do something like PPT and cTDP, vcore offset or if i'm limited to frequency and voltage (if so, what is the one that I need to change: VDDCR voltage or 1.80V)? If there is something else that I need to show I can take another photo and if there is something else that I need to activate i'm accepting tips too! is 6x Exhaust and 3x Intakes ok for the Lian Li o11 dynamic evo Case? (Pic just for example) Posted: 02 May 2022 06:18 AM PDT I know that 6x Intakes (Buttom/Side) and 3 Outtakes (Top) would be the best solution. But would 6x Exhaust and 3 intakes be okay or a really bad decision? It's because I want the 3 fans on the side to look at the front because of the LEDs. But if it's really not good for the pc then I will switch to 6 intake, 3 Exhaust [link] [comments]
Please help me figured out this mid-range build I’m about to build. Posted: 02 May 2022 06:09 AM PDT Build Help/Ready:Have you read the sidebar and rules? (Please do) Yes What is your intended use for this build? The more details the better. I'm planning to build this in a month or two mostly for gaming. If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? (Screen resolution, framerate, game settings) 1440p 144hz, not need for ultra settings, med-high will be fine for me and will mostly play single player games and monster hunter series What is your budget (ballpark is okay)? USD 2000 max In what country are you purchasing your parts? Indonesia Post a draft of your potential build here (specific parts please). Consider formatting your parts list. Don't ask to be spoonfed a build (read the rules!).
Provide any additional details you wish below. I will use this build for the next 4-5 years, is this doable? Is there anything you will replace? I'm currently running r5 2600 + rx570 and will be giving this PC to my brother soon. Will I get a good performance increase? NOTE: You do not have to follow this format, but please be sure to answer these questions. Please do not ask to simply be given a build. You are welcome to delete this section. I need to build a PC for college never built a Pc before Posted: 02 May 2022 08:08 AM PDT So I'm going to be doing cyber forensics work I'm looking to spend under $500 I know there has to be something out there I can put together that'll satisfy my needs. I don't need an expensive motherboard So some backstory my old college was operating off a Dell Optiplex 380, they had fast Wi-Fi and was enough to get school work done, I was originally looking to replicate that build but I see that's no longer viable [link] [comments]

Posted: 02 May 2022 06:57 AM PDT I'm thinking of building my second custom PC sometime this/next year. I want something that can edit, and render, and is good for gaming. I know a little about PCs, but not a whole lot. Can someone give me some recommendations for stuff to change or stuff I did well on choosing? Switched PSU but now PC doesn’t turn on Posted: 02 May 2022 06:49 AM PDT So I had just upgraded from a 1060 to a 1080 and this switched to a 650w psu, after plugging everything in I tried to power it on. Despite the motherboard and gpu lights lighting up, whenever I tried to press the actual power on button on the case itself, nothing would happen. I've tried switching the power and reset switches on the motherboard but to no avail, help would be appreciated thank you. [link] [comments]
Posted: 02 May 2022 06:28 AM PDT For context, i am planning to build in the xproto open case where my gpu will be fairly visible, so aesthetics do matter to a certain extent for me. I also heard that the cooler for the zotac 3070 wasnt that good, and i was wondering whether it was worth sacrificing the aesthetics for a 10-20 fps increase. both of them cost 618 usd (converted from my home currency) [link] [comments]
HELP! ASUS Mobo giving me an error beep code Posted: 02 May 2022 04:05 AM PDT Everytime I turn on my pc it starts giving me a random beep code which I don't know what it means. I searched online and it doesn't give me a clear answer. The motherboard in question is an Asus B150 Pro Gaming/Aura, and the beep code goes like ". . - . . ." When this happens I usually just turn off my pc and turn it back on hoping it doesn't beep again, it has become a 1 out of 5 chances that my pc turns on. I've been having this error for quite a while now and it hasn't been a big deal before, I would just unplug my pc, plug it back and it turn on normally. But now it has become more frequent and I have no clue what this is about. [link] [comments] |
