S21 freezes, crashes, reboots on its own multiple times a day.

    Posted: 30 May 2022 11:55 PM PDT

Honestly I have no clue what's going on. I had Samsung phones for years and never experienced anything remotely comparable to this.

Had the phone a few months without any issues but it started acting up a few weeks ago. Phone just freezes, independent on what apps I use, sometimes just goes dark and unresponsive so that I need to do a hard reset, sometimes it just reboots by itself without me doing anything at all. Sometimes it reboots and within 1 minute it reboots again.

Additionally to that I just noticed that I need to re-enter my home wifi password ovef and over again although it was on autoconnect, has phases where it doesn't connect to the car. Car says I need to log in on Spotify but I am logged in,etc

Honestly this phone is unreliable now. I am almost scared of it dyiong on me while I am dependent on it (important, time sensitive communication or navigation).

Does anyone else have such an issue or did anyone find a solution?

Didn't Samsung integrate camera support for Snapchat, Instagram and TikTok on their latest S22 flagship modell?

    Posted: 31 May 2022 04:53 AM PDT

The reason for asking; my S22 Ultra's behaviour in these apps is nothing short of shamefully bad.

The viewfinder and video recordings alike are horrible with a choppy, jittery and sluggish experience. Any given phone for half the price would easily outperform this underachieving mess.

I've noticed several other people complaining from months back.

    What is this?

Surely there must be more having the same thoughts?

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 stuck on logo screen

    Posted: 31 May 2022 04:15 AM PDT

Hello everyone, I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 that stopped working suddenly.

I was using my phone when a message: "Downloading... Do not turn off target" showed up, and below there was another message saying: "Volume Down Key + Power Key for more than 7 secs : Cancel (restart phone)".

So I did it and hold the Volume Down and the Power Key simultaneously until the phone restarts. But, after restarting, for some reason the phone got stuck on logo screen (Samsung Galaxy Note8 logo screen) and keeps restarting all the time and never goes beyond the logo screen.

I tried to hold the power button and to force restart the phone, but I can't that, since it keeps restarting by itself after the logo screen. I also wanted the battery to run out, but after recharging the phone and turning it on again, the crash continues.

Can someone help me please? I don't know what to do and I don't want to reset my device, because I'm not sure if I have backup of everything that's inside it. Is there a way to fix my phone without resetting it or something? I'm desperate and I don't want to lose anything that's inside it.

    Thank you

"Upgraded" from s20 plus to s22. I'm whelmed.

    Posted: 30 May 2022 11:04 PM PDT

Idk what I was expecting. The screen looks better( idk is it Placebo?). The camera might be better but i can't tell much. The phone looks worse from the front but much better from the back. The battery is worse (Exynos s20 plus sd s22). Ans 5he formfactor is much better. Other than that if feels like using the same phone.

Any things that I'm missing. If this is the situation in smartphone industry, I'll start moving to a 4 yr upgrade cycle.

What Samsung phone would be an upgrade from Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro?

    Posted: 31 May 2022 02:04 AM PDT

Just genuine question, I just wanna upgrade to another phone, because this one well isn't bad but it annoys me so much, especially in cameras quality, i know it's budget phone and have limitations. So i wanna buy better one, budget doesn't gonna be big problem, also i'm in Exynos region.

Night mode and Portrait not showing in images unless you zoom a little?

    Posted: 30 May 2022 09:33 PM PDT

    Still present after a restart.

If I take a portrait picture then click on the image preview to open it, the image does not have a portrait effect. As soon as I pinch to to zoom a bit on the image, the portrait effect applies. If I swipe away to another picture and come back to it, the portrait effect is again lost until I zoom a bit again. Same thing happens with night shots. However, if I wait a good 15 seconds before clicking on the picture after taking it, all is well.

    Anyone else seeing this ?
