Is the issues with Exynos 2200 stutter on s22 line up still an issue?

    Posted: 01 Apr 2022 01:57 AM PDT

In a week's time I am expected to receive my s22+ and I have been dreading it. I cannot stand the look of the iPhone and my work only offers Samsung or iPhone so I am stuck with the European varient of the s22+... But my only worries come from the stuttering from the Exynos 2200 that I have seen.

Is this still an issue? Have they gotten better or worse over time for other s22 Exynos owners? If it's still an issue is there any word from Samsung about a future patch?

    Flashing different CSC version

    Posted: 01 Apr 2022 01:11 AM PDT

Hi, I know flashing a different CSC code is fine, but what about the version? I'm using an A51 (SM-A515F), currently on Android 11. Checked in Samfw and noticed some other regions have received the Android 12 update. I dont want to change my CSC though, so I'm wondering if it's okay to flash the other regions' Android 12 firmware files together with my own Android 11 CSC_HOME? My code is XSP

What are ways to lock an app that isn't secure folder?

    Posted: 31 Mar 2022 11:30 PM PDT

Been looking for a way to lock an app and all I could find was people saying to use secure folder. But the problem is that secure folder makes another version of that app, which I don't want.

I've seen some people say something about s secure, but I don't know if I trust an app with my fingerprint and password.

One UI 4.1 makes Samsung keyboard worse

    Posted: 31 Mar 2022 11:45 PM PDT

When using the search function, you can no longer search for gifs. Now you have to scroll through dozens of gifs to find a gif in one of the categories.

What I get shown instead when using search are useless space stealing disclaimers asking if I want to use Spotify or Gallery in the keyboard even if you disable spotify in keyboard third party settings. But one can not disable youtube or gallery there. Frustrating.

Does anybody know a good keyboard, that has the following tools: - swipe - gifs with search - translation (- pastebin)

I'd be happy for suggestions or if Samsung fixes their keyboard hopefully
