I use my phone for day to day, next to no gaming, but I use it for calls, common Bluetooth connections (keyboards, earbuds, etc.), Very often take pictures in daytime or dark indoor environments. | "Messaging Keeps Stopping." Android messaging app is not working. Posted: 28 Apr 2022 04:49 PM PDT Seemingly out of nowhere, my android text messaging app is not working and every couple of minutes an alert pops up stating Messaging Has Stopped Working or Messaging Keeps Stopping. The only options it gives is App Info or Close App. I googled this problem and performed all of the suggested tips. I cleared messaging cache. I cleared messaging data. I restarted my phone multiple times. I've removed and reinserted the SIM card. I've gone through app permissions and app does have contact, phone, and sms permissions. WiFi is connected. Data is connected. Still I cannot send or receive or even load the screen to select a contact or start typing text because this message pops up. Will a hard reboot/factory reset fix the issue? That is a last resort option. Any other recommendations? [link] [comments] |

Since 4-5 days ago, every kind of video on my Android (except live streams) is buffering very often, from Twitter videos to Twitch vods, and every kind of video on Chrome. I can't watch any video without buffering every 6-10 seconds, sometimes the buffer just don't go away or the video doesn't even start, and i have to refresh. Ironically, the only exception are Live Streams on Twitch and Youtube, which means that the only scenario when the buffering doesn't occur is when watching a stream that is Live. I've never experienced this before, and i doubt is the connection because i have 100 mb (Wifi). Any ideas what could it be? I need help please [link] [comments] |

It's been kept at around 70 degrees most of the time in my room. Should I leave it on standby, or turn it on every once in a while? I was taking a break from using it so I'm a little concerned. Galaxy A32 5G Posted: 28 Apr 2022 03:00 PM PDT To try to explain more clearly, at random, with no warning pop up, or any other type of thing, my phone will start making a "doo doo doo doo" sound from the internals. This sound does not come out of the speaker but you can hear it from the back of the phone. It's sometimes months between it happening, but I'm trying to find out if there may be a reason for it. The only way to stop it is to restart my phone, until then, the phone functions as normal, just makes that sound until I restart it. [link] [comments] |

I'm not sure this is the right subreddit to ask something like this but as far as I have seen people here is experienced so here I go, if not I'll be happy to hear suggestions. Few hours ago my realme 6 seemed to brick in the loading logo screen, so I turned it off and on using the recovery mode, there I just rebooted, no wipe, no reset, no nothing.. only reboot, but it started with a factory reset in default settings and all data removed.. I had more than 70gb of important pictures and videos. I'm aware the possibilities of recovering it are limited as internal memory nowadays seems to be encrypted but I would like to ask you. Is there any recommended software, desktop or app, free or paid, that could help me recover anything? the phone have been untouched since it has happened to not screw anything, and for extra info it wasn't rooted, so could it help doing it right now? | Getting EMUI 12 early on VOG-L04 P30 Pro? Posted: 28 Apr 2022 01:47 PM PDT I really want emui 12. Is there any way to get it early in Canada with the VOG-L04 model P30 Pro? I've tried using HiSuite to download the update and downloading My Huawei and setting my location to Hong Kong, neither of those worked. Someone on an older thread said to use this, but when I put all the details into the Huawei Firm Finder, there was no EMUI 12. One of the things I had set was some type of region code, so that's probably why it wasn't showing up, but I don't want to download firmware from Croatia or something and have it brick my phone. I'm also worried about the data on my phone being wiped during the update process. If someone has used this before to download an EMUI update early, please let me know if it is safe to download an update from a different region and if it'll wipe my phone. Also - if you say the update isn't coming out in North America, PROVIDE A DAMN SOURCE! Someone said to me the update isn't coming out in North America, but provided no source. [link] [comments] |
| Battery thermometer failure after water damage Posted: 28 Apr 2022 01:03 PM PDT My Samsung phone can't be charged anymore because of an error stating it's too cold. It got wet (cold water) immediately before albeit being certified IP68. I need it... Can you help me please? Additional info: There was another wetness error for the USB, and the lens has condensation water. The internal battery thermometer mostly shows nothing, but used to show 0°C or -20°C, but it is at least 20°C hot so it's broken? [link] [comments] |

However, the messages still appear in the 'Blocked Messages' section of the default texting app. I cannot help but check this section, and it makes me incredibly anxious. I have diagnosed OCD, so it's hard for me to simply stop checking. Is there a way that I can fully block these messages so that I cannot see them at all? [link] [comments] |
