| I (possibly) broke my phone's audio drivers Posted: 18 Feb 2022 08:02 AM PST My phone (Redmi Note 10 Pro Max) was flawless until... I downloaded an audio file for a new notification sound and tried to apply it. When I applied it, the phone froze. My monkey brain decided to restart the phone. Restart won't work so I force restart. After reboot the whole audio system is broken, bluetooth headphones, built-in speakers are not working. I checked the audio settings again, and tried applying something else. It says "Applied Successfully" or something like that then "Error". What should I do? Considering factory reset but I don't know if it will restore the audio... Somebody help [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 18 Feb 2022 07:50 AM PST So recently my mom's Redmi Note 4X is stuck in some sort of a boot loop situation. The thing is, the phone successfully boots up, but after a few seconds loading in, it goes back to the boot logo, like some sort of a "restart". Tried removing the SIM tray, force-stopping the now-outdated Hola Launcher, nothing. Dunno how to go to safe mode just to clear up what actually is the problem. The last time it was usable was before my dad used it and "cleaned the cache". Any help would be appreciated... [link] [comments] | ||

| Issues with notifications in first space Posted: 18 Feb 2022 05:55 AM PST I use the second space option for work but when I'm swapping over to the first space I'm not getting the floating notification as I have turned them off in the second space menu but it is still vibrating when I get a notification in the second space when I'm in the first (I have a phone app we use for work). Notifications not showing unless you open the app, no native google installed, google assistant not working. I'm deciding to buy a Mi 11 Lite with GLOBAL ROM, but unless I'm sure that MiUi Globa ROM does not have the problems mentioned in the Chinese ROM, I'm probably going to buy something else. Posted: 18 Feb 2022 05:02 AM PST I have a 4 digit pin set for my unlock code on my phone (along with facial recognition & fingerprint), but I just picked up my phone to unlock it and it prompted me for a password, displaying a QWERTY keyboard instead of the usual numerical keyboard for my pin - and it won't accept my 4 digit pin as password. Im trying to connect the audio output over HDMI ARC to my Yamaha Receiver. I select the output from the projector settings, but nothing is happening. I can't send the audio to the receiver. Posted: 18 Feb 2022 04:35 AM PST I just got the Xiaomi 11T and today I tried making a call with it and recording it, I started the recording, and when the call ended it said the recording was saved, how ever, when I go to the file manager and go to MIUI > sound_recorder > call_rec, its empty, no mp3 files, I'm sure it saved the recording because when I go into the settings of Call recording it says there are 2 recordings, 3 MB. I've been testing the AetherSX2 emulator on my Xiaomi Pad 5 for a few weeks, and the last I've been playing is GTA San Andreas. It's the game that have worked best for me on this tablet. You can see in the video that it's very smooth and graphically it doesn't look bad at all. I know there's an Android version of this game, but honestly there's no comparison between the PS2 vibe in this particular game or play the Android version. The system launcher (the home screen) is continously flashing, and i cannot do anything. Can't navigate or open any app. I just can sit watching it flicker or go through the top taskbar into settings. Any ideas on what could the problem be? Including the work profile where it's broken AF. What's wrong with Xiaomi if they're just making working things to fail? But I can't completely disable "MIUI optimization" because then I can't install APKs by opening it from the disk. I'm really waiting for MIUI 13 and I hope it will be better. Now everytime I open my Gallery, the color of the display is washed out every 3 seconds and it won't stop until I reboot my device.
