Posted: 17 Feb 2022 08:30 PM PST Not an Android question per se, but I don't know of a better sub to ask. Samsung sub doesn't permit tech support questions. I was wondering if I could simply upgrade my sim card to a 5G sim card, and keep using my Galaxy J3 Achieve phone. Or must I upgrade? Boost Mobile phone reps told me I have to upgrade, but I don't know if they are parroting what was told to them. They are nice folks, and I'm not calling them liars at all. But I want to be sure. Volume randomly going to max when using youtube/games. (Doesnt seem to happen anywhere else.) Randomly having a text to speech voice say the current time despite Talkback being off. | Posted: 17 Feb 2022 08:56 PM PST maybe a month ago i bought a sd card for my phone because i needed more storage space. when i got it, i transferred some of my apps over to it. just today, though i attempted to move more apps and files to it, but it said something along the lines of "Couldn't move files. Not enough storage space." The weird thing is that there is more than adequate space on the card. Only like 2 or 3 gbs of it are being used. The card is a 128 gb sandisk. The phone is a Motorola g7 Power. Feel free to ask for any info or clarification. [link] [comments] |

I have tried all the different ways to turn it off from disabling the google app (cannot find the uninstall) to typing Chrome://flags. I tried to do the 3 dots and choose system but I cannot find choose system. This is really starting to make me mad. I have spent the last several hours trying to do this and have got nowhere. | Help with adb sideload fails for stock recovery? Posted: 17 Feb 2022 09:33 PM PST I have a Oneplus 5T. I had LineageOS installed on it but I wanted to remove it and replace it with android. In TWRP, I did "wipe", "swipe to factory reset", "install", chose the OxygenOS rom, "swipe to cconfirm flash", "Wipe cache/Dalvik", and "Swipe to wipe" and then rebooted. However, I forgot to follow the repeat the same procedure to flash Stock Recovery zip Now whenever I start my phone, it goes to android and says to please lock the bootloader with fastboot oem lock When I press Volume Down + Power when it starts, I'm taken to the Oneplus menu with Install from internal storage, Install from ADB, Etc, but its not the TWRP menu from before When I do Install from ADB and then "adb sideload Oneplus-5T-Stock-Recovery.img", it just says installation failed If I choose "reboot to fastboot", from the menu, then it takes me to that same Oneplus menu Can anyone help? | Posted: 17 Feb 2022 09:33 PM PST The first of the past few software updates changed the UI quite a lot, in ways that I do not like, such at the brightness control from the drop down screen, and the emojis are totally different. In the past, I've been able to deny the software updates for several months, until it would like randomly update during the night. I understand the need for updates, but I was literally on the phone with my boss last week when it just decided to update and I couldn't do anything for at least 10 minutes. I've also been in the middle of sending an important message, which ended up disappearing with the update. So, how do I stop it from updating, especially at super inconvenient times? Posted: 17 Feb 2022 08:47 PM PST I'm selling my old Nexus 10 tablet with custom ROM． I want to make sure my private data is gone but still keep the custom ROM. I plan to go to TWRP and factory reset (wipe data, cache and dalvik cache), flash the ROM, flash the opengapps, then wipe internal storage. Is that the right way to do this? (I know the zip files for the custom ROM and opengapps would be gone after wiping the internal storage. ) [link] [comments] |
