Why is South Korea using Snapdragon instead of Exynos 2200 for S22? Posted: 29 Jan 2022 12:05 AM PST Highly doubt its anything to do with logistics because half of Asia is using Exynos while the other half is using Snapdragon. I always had the impression they will use Exynos by default in South Korea unless the difference between the two chip is very huge like in Exynos 990 vs SD865 where they used SD865 instead. Isn't Exynos 2200 with ray tracing suppose to be a game changer and wipe off competition in the Android SoC market? [link] [comments]
OneUI 4 made me decide to keep my S10+ for 1 more year Posted: 29 Jan 2022 12:12 AM PST I have loved my S10+ ever since I bought it pretty soon after it's release because of the brand new OneUI. I use Samsung apps for most things and I don't tweak my Android. I prefer the default user experience. I was looking for an alternative phone, since my back glass is cracked and my phone is around 3 years old. I'm a heavy user - a lot of emails, calls, in-car navigation, Spotify over LTE, etc. I have gotten OneUI 4 just a few days ago and it is fast, smooth and beautiful. Not willing to upgrade to another phone yet I stubbornly ordered a new battery, glass back and I'll replace those and hopefully keep my phone for at least 1 more year, ideally until a new Android version that my phone doesn't support comes out. I'd have to settle for many downgrades in the same price range (camera bump no longer in the middle, no curved screen, only 1080p, no 3.5mm jack, thin and light without 5g). Even after 3 years, my battery still lasts a whole day without problems with the adaptive battery saver. That's amazing. The S10+ with Android 12 and OneUI 4 is still an amazing phone and I won't upgrade until my phone lets me down when I need it. I'll let you know how well it holds up today with the new battery. Anyone else here clinging to their old-ish devices as stubborn as me? [link] [comments]
s21 ultra 100x zoom or iphone 13 pro lidar sensor ? Posted: 29 Jan 2022 11:08 AM PST im so confused between these 2 phones and my last choice depends on this. the iphone 13 pro has the lidar sensor, which i freakly love its capabilities and gonna be useful to me, samsung has the 100x zoom, which i dont really use but its nice to play around with it. s21 ultra has android, and i love android so much (ive a rooted note 5), but i got easily convinced with the ios. which to pick guys ? edit: real time graph: 30%iphone/ 20%s21 ultra/ 50%s20 ultra the s20 ultra has the zoom and the tof sensor [link] [comments]
Posted: 29 Jan 2022 10:53 AM PST I have an option to get Samsung galaxy fit 2 for 22€, Samsung galaxy fit e for 12€ and xiaomi mi band 4 for 18€ Is it worth paying more for fit2 or get one of cheaper ones? I also have a pretty small hands and wrists so I'm afraid it would look funny and huge on me. I would mostly get it out of curiousity to see my sleep pattern, stress levels and calories burnt but I'm not some fitness freak so I'm not sure if it's worth the money. [link] [comments]
My thing with Samsung Tab A series Posted: 29 Jan 2022 08:06 AM PST Samsung really did it for me when they released the Samsung Galaxy Tab A with S Pen (2019) or most known as the Galaxy Tab A Plus. My thing is, will it have a succesor. The Tab A7 Lite was almost it. I have a Tab S7 FE and it works wonders as a work device, but as a note-taking device, it's just too big. The Tab A with S Pen (2019) was just the right size, like a notebook almost. I am really hoping that Samsung considers this. The success of the Tab S6 Lite was because of the student market, mostly seniors in high school or college students. But for the lower levels like early high school students, the Tab A would really help, especially with the S Pen conveniently tucked in the tablet itself. Not just these students but anyone who wants a small tablet to properly write on or doodle with. I can also see businesses doing this, with the convenience of its size and availability of a proper stylus. An upgrade with all the current tech will really boost all the way. How about ya'll? Can I hear your thoughts? [link] [comments]
Posted: 29 Jan 2022 03:59 AM PST I forgot my tab s6 lite somewhere for a long time and it was 0% battery, will this affect battery health, I never let my battery under 40% but this situation was inevitable. [link] [comments]

What processor is Australia getting? Posted: 29 Jan 2022 03:32 AM PST The leaks mention every continent and what they're getting except Australia. Are we considered part of southeast Asia, which supposedly gets Snapdragon? [link] [comments]
Posted: 29 Jan 2022 03:16 AM PST What exactly is this function? I was watching a short on FB and I managed to get this to open but what does this actually let me do with my phone? Are there more hidden menu's like this? I remember being told when I switched from iPhone to Android people like it because of customization you can do with Android I'm guessing this is one of the menus? [link] [comments]

No Android 12 Update on my S10+ Posted: 29 Jan 2022 02:13 AM PST The title pretty much explains it. I have not received the Android 12 update on my S10+. I have manually checked on the settings but it tells me that I am on the latest version which is not true. What do I do to get the Android 12 update? [link] [comments]
Posted: 29 Jan 2022 02:11 AM PST Does anyone have experience with them? I'm talking about the ones which claim to be bigger than the original (for example 3500 mHz instead of 3000 mHz). Looking to replace my S7 battery for the first time after 5 years and I'm considering getting one of these. [link] [comments] |
